Good stop in town and close enough to walk to the Red Ox restaurant which is definitely worth a visit; Host (Morne) was very friendly and helpful and even spoilt us with a packed breakfast for our early ride out the next morning (he got up a 05h00 to make fresh toasted sandwiches for us to take with). Rooms were comfortable with a massive bathroom (shower and spa bath). And a well stocked bar fridge which was appreciated.

Pillows need to be replaced please. Otherwise the room was comfortable.

We were taking Grandpa to the bus stop on his way to Namibia and decided to stay overnight so we won't have to drive back home in the dark. Pet friendly and child friendly. If you have busy body kids, this is the perfect stay.

I have no complaints. The place is perfect. It just gets hot during loadshedding, but who doesn't complain about loadshedding.....

The breakfasts are wonderful with a selection of cereals, good coffee and hot options. Our room was comfortable with a well stocked mini bar. The bathroom is out of this world with the biggest jacuzzi tub I've ever seen! The hosts own a variety of exotic animals and birds which make the garden experience lovely. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, sorting out our parking and making our stay very pleasant.

The location on the river is beautiful. you must love animals to stay at the guest house. Cats, dogs and birds live happily on the property.

The rooms are close to the office and front door, which can be quite noisy in the mornings. air conditioner wasn’t working efficiently. Bedside lamp wasn’t working. flickering down lighter in the bedroom. No blackout on the curtains

Due to loadshedding we waited almost 30 min for coffee and the omelette was cold but nice. We depart almost an hour later than planned due to this. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Very convenient. Great area for kids to play. Swimming pool is clean and load shedding doesn't affect the place.

The pets. Not a big fan of pets and I saw a cat that didn't look like a cat. Cringe

Great staff, owner super friendly, very nice to discuss with him, lots of animals, cats, dogs, one monkey, parrots, the kids loved it, even though we did not stay very long. Super hosting, thanks for having us!!!

the location is just breath taking in the edge of the orange river complete with a deck to watch the sunset breakfast wonderfully prepared

it’s a little to cramped up the room compared to a humongous bathroom I would’ve liked some more space in the bedroom

We loved the views, and the quiet, restful ambience. The Manager, Debbie, went out of her way to accommodate our needs when we arrived and could not make use of the spa bath, as my sister needed a shower. Louw and Shane were very helpful and professionally friendly, available when we needed them. Lovely breakfast, and Louw's dinner presentation was beyond our expectations.

The breakfast was excellent and prepared to my liking. Everyone from the manager to the helper was accommodating and friendly. The accommodation was beautiful and clean. The views were beautiful. Excellent customer service.
