The location and the amazing building. We had a disabled room ,which was fine for a couple of nights. A nice reasonably priced restaurant with good service.A lovely grassed beer garden. A 3 course plate of the day menu ,with water and wine 15€ each. Free parking was a bonus. Lovely small town.

It was quite dark in the room. Also no power point in the bathroom .But this could be due to the fact it was a disabled room ,with a wet room,so wouldn't be suitable. I imagine it could be quite hot in the summer months, as I don't think the windows opened.

character, history oozing from every beam, every solid piece of furniture, every engraved doorway it wears its history proudly and this is it’s big selling point staff were pleasant and helpful

the room I had was a duplex, reasonably fitted out with but it meant the bed on the mezzanine was under the eaves accessed by small set of stairs from the “lounge” area . the shower room was also off the lounge it was a confined space formally, if we are to believe the write up, a priests cell, which will not suit everyone Other more standard rooms were available we had the set menu dinner which was excellent value but in hindsight I would have gone for the a la carte which looked so much better than our “basic but acceptable” meal

Very characterful hotel with a nice shady garden and lots of nice places to sit. Room certainly had character. Only a short walk into a great little town and some nice walks/runs on the doorstep. Breakfast was good and dinner good value. Secure motorcycle parking. We would hapily stop again.

Not speaking spanish we did struggle a bit (part of the fun but maybe a one pager with key info?). Shame about the use of single use plastics. Loo has been cleaned cover (remember them), plastic beakers, soap and all the jambs etc plus marks for shower gell. Not sure we needed a full bottle of wine included in the meal...I think I'd rather make my choice but can't fault the value of food and drinks.

Stayed here before, very friendly old monastery, mainly catering to the Camino walkers. Good out of sight parking in the courtyard for our motorcycles and a large, ground floor double room with heater for our wet gear! Quiet little town. Posada has a great little bar and a very good quality restaurant, all at reasonable cost. The breakfast was very good for a basic posada. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location. It is a very interesting place. Staff were very friendly and competent. Our accommodation was in one of the outbuildings. It was a lovely room and warm. We had a good evening meal

The insulation is poor and we could hear the people in the next room quite clearly.

Fabulous room, large, super comfy bed. Didn't use the coffee machine, think you need a degree in engineering. The evening meal and breakfast were extremely good and excellent value. Good parking and easy walk into town. Amazing building.

The shower is style over substance. Fit a door and a proper fitting for the handset.

The location was a bit out of town but we didn't mind as we like the walk. The room was very comfortable and the shower, amazing. Lovely stop off on the way to the ferry.

The fridge in the room was not plugged in and when rectified it never really got cold. Also, instructions on how to use the coffee maker would have been useful.

The place was very quirky. It was a very old historic building, which was very nice. The bed was up a narrow set of stairs, so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Restaurant was very nice.

Bathroom was very small. No tea/coffee making facilities

A unique hotel, lots of history, in a really nice Spanish town. The dinner was a three course meal with all the house wine I wanted, in a really nice setting, the best I had in my two week holiday.

The room was a little dark, but that's really the only negative I can think of.

This old monastery is full of charm and character and offers wonderful accommodation. The converted cell we occupied though tiny, had all that was required and was a triumph of design. The orchard garden seating area is lovely in the evening sun. Staff were most helpful.
