Large, well appointed room with lots of storage, great views of the town, comfortable bed and pillows, large bathroom with separate w.c. Breakfast options were great. Free motorcycle parking on level ground opposite the front doors.

We requested a late check-out, maybe an hour, but the only option was an extra €20 for four hours. FYI, if you walk into town to do the 10:30 am cave tour, you can complete it and get back to the hotel with enough time to change or finish packing before noon. The hotel did allow us to store our motorcycle gear and luggage by reception, and as we did not have to rush back for a set check-out time, we were able to wander around town a bit. We skipped the castle though, as it did not open until 12:00.

The hotel is set in an enviable position overlooking the town below and the castle, which is especially stunning at night. The hotel is really nice with staff at reception being helpful after a misunderstanding by them with my booking where my view was spoilt by the carpark. They offered to move me and gave me a free bottle of Cava as an apology. The spa staff were amazing despite the spa facilities not fully working due to a malfunction, but they reduced the price of our 1-hour booking to make up for it. Breakfast was high quality, and the staff were engaging and professional. The pool area was immaculate, but be aware that you will need tokens from reception to get a towel, which we were not informed of. The caves and castle are worth a visit if you have time. A top tip from another contributor was to visit on your day of checkout at 10.30 a.m., and you will be back at the hotel in time to check out at 12, visit the castle the evening before and watch the sunset before walking down to the town for dinner

Not being given any hotel orientation or explanation of facilities or the local area other than breakfast time and location. We did, however, stumble across a QR code on our bathroom mirror for the generic hotel chain. Only being allowed 1hr in the spa area because it just flies by. The gastro pub is nothing of the sort.. the food was terrible, and the service was nothing short of insulting. We did not eat or drink in the hotel again apart from breakfast and took the short walk into town instead. We did complain to reception, who said they would let them know which personally doesn't help on wasting my money and having to go hungry. Please read the other reviews regarding the gastro pub. The majority are similar to my experience. I wish I had read them first 😔

We really liked the room with panaroma view, the location with only a few minutes walking distance to the village, the always friendly hotel staff. The hotel itself makes a very good impression to us.

We could not rate this hotel with a score of 10, because the room cleanig was not optimal. Also the balcony need not get cleaned. The Restaurant is rather a bar with a large TV screen, which did not meet our style. But for Bar food and cafe in the afternoon perfect.

Location is good with great view over castle and downtown. The breakfast was good and had what one look for. The distance to city centre is nice and the walk ther is about 10-15 minutes. Staff was very kind and helpful.

We were dissapointed that access to the indoor pool was charged extra also for hotel guests. Parking can be difficult over weekends or busy days.

Excellent breakfast with good range of food. The room was large and had a wonderful view over the hills behind the hotel. The view from the public spaces and terrace were stunning!

We had not been made aware that the pool and sun loungers would be closed - we were advised that they are only open in July and August.

The breakfast was fantastic, with a lot of variety. The receptionists were nice and helpful. The spa was really nice as well. The view was amazing. Free parking. Well decorated.

We found some hairs on the bed, the carpet was very stained, the "king sized bed" was two twin beds pushed together, which created an uncomfortable ridge in the middle.

Nice and modern hotel with beautiful views. Lots of hiking possibilities in the neighbourhood. Nice spacious room. Friendly staff.

Breakfast didn't offer much for people who have a lactose intolerance. Lots of noise late in the evening from the car park of people arriving.

Good standard of hotel for ****. Excellent bedroom, huge comfy bed, friendly staff, bathroom excellent. Minibar somewhat underwhelming and fridge noisy. Snack meals in bar good. Breakfast good too.

There was no room service. A **** hotel should have it. I was told I could order at the bar, then take to my room when ready. Not good enough. Sorry!

Fantastic views over the town and a good sized open air pool. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, the beds very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and everything was very clean. Sunset from the pool bar is worth seeing! The outdoor (free) parking spaces fill up quickly, but there is an underground garage for 6E a night.
