This hotel exceeded our expectations, the room was a great size, perfect for a couple and the bed was very comfortable and big. The room was cleaned every day even late one day after we had stayed in the room for the morning. The rooms were modern and plenty of wardrobe space and a safe. The reception staff were cheerful and helpful. Location is perfect, just off la ramblas and walking distance to everything. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

We had a balcony but it wasn't used, it just looked out over a small side street, no view but we didn't mind as we weren't in the room much. I wouldn't upgrade to a blacony again for that reason only. We had the superior room which I thought was really just a standard room, we did peek a look at the standard room and this did look very small, like a lot of city hotels but if staying for more than a night with 2 people a superior might suit better.

Location is fantastic and the staff are great! Definitely a good place to stay.

Facilities/amenities slightly dated. The hairdryer (wired into the bathroom drawer) had a damaged cable with an attempted repair. When I asked for an iron, one was provided but I was told it was the last one and it “may or may not work”. After checkout, there is the option of luggage being stored and the use of a toilet to get changed but there are no shower facilities available (which is a slight issue with it being a city on the beach).

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights before our Med cruise. We were in room 1. The room was very clean. There is a window which faces onto a courtyard which isn't accessible through the room but just outside the room. It isn't a particularly bright room but absolutely fine for our stay. The staff are amazing, nothing was too much trouble. They even allowed us to come back a week later and leave our cases with them for the day until the evening when our flight left for home at no charge. They said that whilst we are in Barcelona the hotel is our home, which we thought was lovely. Staff spoke perfect English and they had great sense of humour too. They gave us great advice as to what to visit etc. The hotel is literally just off Las Ramblas. It is on a small narrow through road. We were not out after dark, as we were knackered but we felt perfectly safe walking too and from the hotel. There are a couple of small supermarkets on the road and a great bakery called 365, I recommend the croissants filled with custard - game changer. There is a tube station a few minutes away and the bus stop for the airport is at the top of las ramplas so easy to walk to and much cheaper than a taxi to the airport. The cruise terminal is a short taxi drive.

To make the stay even better coffee and tea making facilities in the room but other than that it was just great.

This is a nice Hotel. What made it really nice was the amount of time that Carlos took with us to tell us about the City and guide us as to what to see and do while we were there. He was the best. The location is very good, close to everything we wanted to see, and its in a great neighborhood.

The room was ok. Kind of small, and the bathroom was not exactly the greatest, not much surface area and the caulking around the shower made it feel not really as clean as we'd have liked. I'm not sure what we were looking at out the window, but it wasn't pleasant.

Located in the heart of the old city centre and close to the metro and nice restaurants and bars. The room and bed were comfortable. Reception staff very friendly and helpful 👍

WiFi connection was really bad. Couldn't buy water at reception as their automat was broken for our full 4 days. Barcelona tap water tastes horrible chlorine so bottle water is truly nessecary.

The personnel was very nice and friendly and the location was excellent. Walking distance from the rambla and a metro station as well as the gothic sector of the city. Properly noise insulted rooms. I was quite happy about it.

Two minimal things. 1) Bare in mind this is not a 5 star hotel but is excellent value for the money. Very clean and everything you need is there but it might not be as aesthetically pleasant. 2) You are expected to leave a deposit vía your credit card details or 100€ in cash even after having paid the reservation on booking. Maestro cards (e.g. from the Netherlands are not possible) so bring cash.

We opted for superior bedroom which was a very good size and comfortable bed. The location is perfect with a quick walk to metro. La Ramblas is at the doorstep from where any and everything can be bought. 15 mins away from the beach on a bus plus right in front of Gothic Quarter.

I would appreciate if basic tea and coffee would have been included along with electric kettle. Also the water did not drain efficiently in the shower.

Location is excellent. The located street of the hotel is exactly opposite to the lift of Metro station Liceu. The station is next to 3 largest stations covering all Metro lines. Bus lines are abundant for going every part of the city. Most of the time, 20 - 25 minute is enough for travelling to different areas of the city. La Ramblas and Catalunya are full of attractions. The closing time of shops and restaurants nearby is late. Wonderful night life here. The staff are very nice, especially the one who has a wife once lived in Hong Kong. He would write down the attractions and transport in the map for tourists’ easy travelling. Other FO & housekeepers are nice and patient.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, from the location to the staff and standard of the room, it was excellent. The reception staff could not have been more friendly or helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The suite had everything we needed and more - a great outdoor terrace, lots of space and a 50 inch TV. It was also extremely clean. This hotel is around half way up las ramblas and while it doesn't have a restaurant or pool, it is all about the location. We will definitely visit again!

No kettle in room, or tiny fridge to keep a water or juice for first thing in the morning. There is a basic vending machine on ground floor, but sometimes it’s nice not to have to get up and dressed to get a drink. But this is only my preference. Doors onto balcony, unfortunately due to design were not great at keeping noise out, so if a light sleeper, take some ear buds
