Few minutes from border on route to UK. In the village but quite location. Church behind hotel but no bells in night. Good parking, outside space & gardens. Originally old fortress with beams etc & beautiful maintained as a classic vintage hotel. Friendly & helpful staff. Samuel & Agur on reception & the breakfast lady thank you, all good 👍 Beautiful room with balcony. Comfortable bed. No noise. A bit warm & it was March. But we did have the sun all day on balcony to warm the room. Don’t think any aircon for guests in summer. Good shower over bath, TV, chargeable mini bar. Very clean.

Wasn’t a problem but a missed a bar but think staff can do drinks & there is a small one end of room.

We liked the ambience of the old hotel set in a picturesque setting with parking provided. We had drinks down in the garden before dinner then into the restaurant for a lovely meal. One of the waitresses was able to speak some English and the food was delicious.

The room was not like the pictures on site - more austere. The restaurant doesn’t open till 8.30 for dinner( hard for us Australians!) and the breakfast starts at 8.30 which makes it difficult if you want to leave early.

Mountainous stay in a nice and calm place. It is recommended. We were a family with a one year old baby. Elevator is small but accepted for a 400 year old building! The staff were so respected and nice, with smiles and warm welcome. Breakfast was fine and fresh and pleasant. Staff did everything to make guests happy.

Mosquitoes. You must have some Mosquitoes repellent or facilities to keep them away at night if you want to open windows or use balcon.

Our stay was for 3 nights but we extended it to 5 nights because we loved the place so much. The hotel is a beautiful old hotel full of character and history with lovely private gardens filled with the smell of Jasmine blossoms. The hotel is has a perfect mix of antique and modern furniture with very tasteful decor. The staff are very professional and super friendly and were always concerned with our welfare and comfort. A special big thanks to Maite, Reyes, Karina and Aiore who really looked after us. Not forgetting the chef who’s excellent food was keeping us eating at the hotel every day and the cleaning lady who works so hard behind the scenes. I would highly recommend the hotel to everyone travelling in this beautiful region.

I didn't want to leave.

Amazing historic building with a beautiful garden. The parking is easy (when it's not lunchtime and spots are taken by restaurant visitors). The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and having a full bath in the room could be a nice bonus.

My room didn't have an air conditioner so I had to open windows and then it was too noisy in my room (the local church is nearby and the main road to/from the village).

Hotel is a cozy traditional building of this area. The town itself is also nice. Reasonable pricing.

The restaurant of this hotel looked popular for local people, so that parking was full by restaurant guests.. I had to park my car at a public parking space that was nearly 10 minutes walking. Hotel equipment was somewhat obsolete. At my room, hair dryer was totally broken.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice touch having the fan, as no air conditioning. Great views from our room with two balcony areas. The breakfast was nice, with a fair choice. Great parking on site.

The only thing we'd say would be no air con, but we appreciate it was a very old and beautiful building.

- beautiful, authentic hotel, nice décor outside, inside in the corridors and in the room - the room was spacious and nicely decorated - the room and the bathroom were clean - bathtub to relax after a long day - safe parking at the property - big garden - nice area to have a little walk - absolutely amazing staff at the restaurant, very nice and welcoming, the restaurant is pleasant and quiet, overlooking the garden, the food was delicious (it was a lot of food but I couldn't stop eating because of how good it was), if you're a hotel guest, it's a real VIP treatment - tasty breakfast with good variety of food - beautiful tableware, it really made everything perfect

- the corridors smelled a bit like cigarette smoke (but the room smelled nice) - it was a little bit noisy in the night - the sounds of an old house and there were some noisy people in the street outside my window

Service was amazing at the hotel and the restaurant. The historical building where the hotel is located is gorgeous, parking is comfortable, the food at the restaurant is marvelous.

Everything was perfect I believe. No complaints at all. There is no A/C, but it might be because the weather isn't hot in that part of the country.

We actually were upgraded at check in. Property had a large group so we got moved to a large suite! Beautifully decorated and a very comfy bathroom. Food and staff at the restaurant was great. After being so long in the road, this property staying was like an Oasis.

We were looking around area of San Sebastian and we got directed to this property which was 40 min driving from our route. Complicated road in the mountains with heavy traffic. Hotel was located in a corner, so our room was just in top of the road. No air conditioner, with open windows was fresh enough but a bit noisy. Unfortunately, bed was outdated and uncomfortable 😣.
