Food was absolutely amazing, variety of choice, different food every day, fresh and supertasty, fish pasta meat fruit salads seafood paella churros pancakes etc anything you want. Loved the variety and incredible taste. Rooms superclean, comfortable, pool clean and amazing, drinks tasty and plenty of choices, no issues with extending stay, Staff very friendly and smiling all the time Rui Party absolutely gorgeous, great music, neon gadgets for the guests, we had lots of fun.

Not enough cups for tea/coffee during breakfast (late joiners so it may be understandable) and not polished cutlery sometimes, however the quality of service is great and I would go back there for holidays anyways. The promo code for birthday discount didn't work on RUI app and reception didn't offer support.

This resort exceeded our expectations of an all inclusive for families. The property is immaculately clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. Lots of pools and activities and perfect for families with younger children. The food at the main buffet and the themed restaurants was all of good quality and we never had to wait to be seated or eat. The property is located a short walk from a fantastic beach - we spent hours playing in the waves and building in the sand. We loved every moment of this relaxing family holiday!

There is nightly entertainment, but not very varied in theme. The Friday night parties (white and neon) are the huge events of the week, so don't miss those! We, honestly, don't have any complaints about this resort.

RIU Chiclana, really make an effort to provide their guests with good service, you can tell their staff work very hard to keep all facilites clean and they seem happy to assist. Without a doubt, their entertainment is the best you will find, from the pool side activities to the night entertainment, especially their Riu Party, this past Friday it was the Neon Party, packed to the rafters, with DJ, PRO saxophonist, pro dancers, incredible, I wanted to dump my kids somewhere and enjoy the party as an adult. This is a very very busy hotel, but we never had an issue with sun loungers, and breakfast, lunch, dinner is of a very high standard, moreso if you book the themed restaurants.(you need the Riu App) This is a pure all inclusive, no buts, no hidden fees for drinks/ snacks etc. Its slightly on the pricey side, but it will not disappoint you.

Our room had no balcony, making it a task to dry towels and swimwear within the bathroom, we would've preferred a room with balcony but this was not specified within the booking. We have booked on other occasions and we always had a balcony, hopefully Riu/Booking.com can make it clearer upon booking this next time round.

Great hotel for families with children all ages. The facilities and the entertainment for kids are amazing and extremelly well organized. Yes, it's a big hotel with a lot of people but there are plenty of space and activities for everyone to enjoy confortably. The hotel was fully booked and never had an issue with the pool chairs, or with the restaurants. Staff is great and very nice. Would definitely recommend for families

Access to the beach can be tough with kids and there are no beach chairs and shades from the hotel.

Great place to enjoy with young kids: soft play area, kids water park, large sandy beach close by, with smooth entry into the sea. Beautiful place, all in all.

The meal timetables are a bit harder to respect with young kids (8 am breakfast, 7 pm dinner) but there are plenty of other snack areas available so one never goes hungry. The gym could be upgraded.

Pleasentness of the staff, they all were exceptional. Size of rooms were good and beds very comfortable. Food in all restaurants was very good. Pool towels issued. Plenty of sunbeds available at all times of the day

Long queues at checkin. Checked in online but still had to queue, so it was a pointless exercise. Tried to pay in advance but was told over the telephone that this was not possible if booked through a third party (Booking.com).

Very good selection of food. Beautifully kept properly with spotless facilities and grounds. maintenance: we called about a faulty plug and sink and it was fixed almost before we put the phone down!

Why heat 2 pools but not the kids pool? Seems strange. Also a restrictive policy on the soft play area, making it more relaxed on how many kids are allowed and allowing parents in would have helped.

Pretty much everything. Hotel and Staff were exceptional. 1. The entertainment was great and very engaging. My 5 year old absolutely loves the kids club staff. Even though she only speaks English they were amazing with her. 2. The App is pure genius, what a great way to communicate what's going on and requests etc. Extremely well thought out.

1. Would be great to be able to register the kids for kids club on the app and then simply sign when you arrive. Although still great the way it is. 2. No tables near the sunbeds, which means alot of knocked over cups and sticky floors.

Fabulous location , beach is wonderful. Buffet food was quality and such a choice. Kettle and mugs in the room which was good. Place , gardens and room were very clean . Reception staff so welcoming and helpful. Great place to visit . I received Birthday greetings from the Hotel reception and from the maid and she made me a lovely towel display ., so sweet.

We wanted to sleep with window open but werent sure if there were mosquitos so a net panel would be helpful. Music was a bit loud at lunchtimes , for our age !!!

All aspects of the hotel. From the location and proximity to the beach, to the welcoming and helpful Reception staff, restaurant, pool, and service staff. All public areas were cleaned to high standard. Restaurant staff were very attentive. Entertainment team were enthusiastic. Hotel grounds very well maintained.

Unfortunately I became ill, after eating a partially uncooked chicken kebab from the Pepito Pool snack bar. Had diarrhoea for the following 4 days, and unable to eat anything without severe stomach cramps. Also alot of the entertainment, although enjoyable, was very much aimed at the Spanish guests. Leaving those that didn't speak the language confused at times.
