During our recent visit to Abba Comillas apartments, we were met with an exceptional level of service that surpassed all expectations. We were upgraded to a three-bedroom apartment, it had a washing machine and it was quiet.

On arrival we had to pay a 150 euro deposit which took nearly a week to be refunded. It is 20 minutes' walk into town with only one restaurant in the resort with another across the road. The apartment we had was set away from the main complex and a 5-to-10-minute walk to the Pool and tennis court. The last night I tried to call reception to book a taxi for the next day, the receptionist answered and after she realized I could only speak English she hung up on me. After making a number of further attempts to speak with reception with no success, I had to go to reception to book the taxi.

The apartment was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The location was good and easy to walk to the centre of town.

It was easy to hear other guest in rooms above and beside us. Our second night, the guests above us returned late, 2.30am. They were very loud, shouting and singing for at least an hour! We told the reception staff in the morning who didn't seem concerned. We didn't even get an apology.

Great location, charming walking routes into centro Comillas. Easy parking a big plus. WiFi was good. Nice refrigerator and hot water supply.

Thin walls and floors, could hear everything going on with adjoining units. Very cheap and impermanent doors and trims, cheap IKEA grade furnishings, tiny sink, real hassle to wash dishes. No oven, very tiny microwave. In general, lighting not well thought out in living room/dining area and second bedroom.

Lovely apartment. Looked like it had been freshly decorated. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice big living area. Very comfortable beds. Great pool. Tennis courts too. Whole complex well looked after. Good gym at hotel. Comillas town centre absolutely beautiful. Plenty of restaurants to chose from. Beach close as well. Also cental for exploring other areas.

Bathroom door had no lock and no active extractor fan so got very steamed up after everyone had used the shower. Pool didn't open until 11am. Would have been nice if they had tennis rackets to hire out for use on the courts. Food limited for a fussy 12 year old vegetarian.

Excellent paid breakfast for 12 euro additional. Apartment was very clean. Two bedrooms.

150 euro deposit was a little off-putting. And the instructions on cleaning were a little much. It made it sound like we needed to wash our own sheets and towels. They need to re-word it!

Good location, plenty of places to visit.

The bathroom in the apartment needs updating, it was very shabby - grouting was black. Also, the shower would be difficult to access if you were large as there was a very small gap between the handbasin and the bath with overhead shower.

Very comfortable space with sufficient facilities, easily to get free parking outside of the building, nearby beautiful sea shore, just few minutes drive to historical center.

a little bit confused to check in and get the key, but not a big issue.

We arrived late after check in, communication was excellent. We picked up keys at the nearby hotel. No issues whatsoever. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Boiler made noise most of the night. We didn't realise that's what it was otherwise we would have switched it off for a better night.

Great staff pool was fun but cold. We used the hotel facilities for an extra fee which was worth it.

The walls are a little thin but no rowdy parties so we slept OK.
