Really lovely building, felt very authentic. The pool was an added bonus. The room was big and had good facilities, the bed was very comfortable. Was a stone's throw from Santillana del mar, just outside of the village with parking. The breakfast for 10 euro was really good, you really got you're money's worth. Would really recommend this hotel, exceptional value for money. Staff were really nice and it's easy to visit surrounding towns.

Booked this hotel as it had free parking and was in a quite location. Couldn't fault anything such a lovely comfortable stay. Pool looked inviting but didn't use it and you could purchase a bathing cap for €2 which was a pool required to wear. We purchase breakfast which was lovely and plentiful for €7. Can highly recommend this hotel and only 40mins from the Santander ferry port.

Nice palacio-style building outside Santillana, therefore quiet, no street noises. Comfortable beds, clean room, good size of the room. Breakfast was not buffet-style, but ok; unimaginative pastries (seems to be standard in this part of Spain). Village with sights and restaurants within walking distance (5 to 10 minutes). Free parking.

This is a beautiful and tranquil hotel a short walk from the old town. The staff were helpful and attentive ant the room, whilst not big, was airy and light. There is a little pool behind the hotel which was clean and a terrace which was ideal for a quiet coffee or a drink. A great place to stay when visiting Santillana and excellent value for money.

There are no negatives, it was ideal for us.

Personally I prefer a walk in shower, rather than a very small bath with a shower over it.

The hotel is located up a quiet country lane on the outskirts of the town. It is set in generous grounds, with a beautiful pool. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel had comfortable seating areas downstairs, Breakfast was excellent. The staff were outstanding - they spoke English and went out of their way to be helpful.

Beautiful house, perfectly located just outside the lovely little town of santillana. Less than a 5 minute walk down a quiet country lane. P lenty of parking, nice pool, good breakfast, friendly staff.

Other guests were very noisy..not the fault of the hotel...

Just outside of town but easy walking distance. Nice patio outside dining room . Staff was excellent.

Rooms were dated and pool area was underwhelming.
