Eurostars Patios de Cordoba

The room was big enough, it had everything, the bathtub was big, the restroom, and the bed was king size. The staff were so kind and the breakfast was wonderful, the only thing missing was honey, maybe it was there but I didn’t see it. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is a little bit far from the attractions of Cordoba, but overall I enjoyed being there and if I will be back one day to Cordoba, I will choose this hotel without hesitation.

This classy hotel is well-named, with multiple patios that you can have breakfast in, an evening drink, or simply relax and watch the swifts overhead. We were in room #1, with the pleasant surprise of a bottle of sparkling wine to greet us; "standard with a superior room" we were told. The other surprise was a 18th century well in the room (covered, I should add!), but that, and other artefacts around the hotel, added to the sense of history and style. Great buffet breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, fast efficient air-conditioning, all made for an excellent stay. The hotel is on the edge of the medieval old town, but only 10 minutes walk to the Mesquita etc.; it is very near Plaza de la Corredera but also plenty of less-touristy cafes and restaurants.

We liked everything about the hotel and wouldn't change a thing.

The parking garage closest to the property (no discount, you’ll pay regularly daily rates) is about 1/2 mile away, so drop your bags at the hotel first. We like to walk, but that distance made getting/dropping the car a hassle). There should also be some free coffee available to guests without paying added charges. We also waited at least 30 minutes to check in as a group was ahead of us and there was only one staff member (the group was paying in cash and each bill had to be verified). During peak afternoon check-in hours, one would expect a 2nd staff member available to work in reception as needed.

We had a very quiet room on the 2nd floor, corner - very quiet, private, and nice! The hotel location is good and bad - nice local restaurants and nice Roman ruins close by, but the street atmosphere is poor. Breakfast is very good. First morning was crowded and we had to wait for a table. Second morning we went early and it was much more pleasant. Coffee machine makes “americano” too weak - you need to put in some espresso!

AC worked, but made a strange humming noise unless we opened a window - weird! TV has too few stations - no news in English! Exiting the elevator at the basement-breakfast level is a shock - beautiful subsurface ruins under glass!!!!! The appearance of the hotel from the street is poor; inside is the opposite - attractive “patios”! The street itself! Not attractive and very narrow!

Clean, comfortable and quiet hotel in an excellent location within easy walking distance of Cordoba’s fabulous sites. My room looked out over a serene courtyard with orange trees and fairy lights. As I was travelling for work, I appreciated the desk with plugs for my devices and comfy bed. It was a bit cold in town when I visited, but the heating was quick to kick in when I turned it on, keeping my room toasty. Spacious bathroom with ample toiletries and hairdryer. Spotlessly clean. Excellent front desk staff, who were helpful with sightseeing, taxis and an early checkout on my final morning. Handyman came quickly to fix a dead bulb in my bedside lamp. Superb breakfast with plenty of choice. Bonus archaeological site in the basement!

The bedroom was fairly small, but really it didn’t matter as I was out or sitting at the desk most of the time.

The location is very good, and the hotel has the spirit of the city, the patio is very nice, and everything is very clean, the staff were very nice and helpful

It was overpriced for the summer while the temperature was above 40 all the time, and there is nothing to do in the hotel, just staying in our room waiting till the sunset so we can go, and they only serve breakfast so we had to order food every time.

We had a spacious room and found as a welcoming surprise a chilled bottle of cava waiting for us. The hotel may look unassuming from the outside, but inside is charming: it is worth getting lost in the corridors to discover a few nice secret corners. The position is central to visiting the main old city.

Getting to the hotel was tricky because of the narrow streets and the traffic limitations. My advice is to briefly (15min max) park in front of the hotel to offload the luggage and then park at the Ribeira Parkin (17EUR/day)

this hotel has all of the essential items that you need. Lightning fast Wi-Fi, modern decor in the room, modern comfortable shower facility (rare for Europe, if we’re honest), kettle for hot water, mini fridge, very convenient location to all of the tourist locations in the city. walking distance to an endless number of restaurants. Very friendly staff that is eager to help. Really everything that you would want in a hotel at a very fair price.

The property was clean, comfortable and very spacious room. We found the added treat of ruins to be a bonus. The staff were always helpful and friendly. Breakfast had all we needed and more. on our final morning we were going to miss breakfast due to departure transportation so the staff packed us a breakfast to go. It included gluten free items for my celiac needs. The location was perfect with easy walking to food and exhibits.

Everything was great! We booked a slightly bigger room and we were surprised by the size of it. The room was clean and looked chic. We were welcomed with cava and sweets in our room, something we didn't expect at all. The hotel has several courtyards so it's a treat to take a stroll through the entire complex. On the lower floor there's even a glass floor that shows ruins of an older building on which the hotel was built. It's located in the middle of Cordoba but we mostly walked our way to the river to visit tourist attractions like Mezquita, but I would recommend to also walk the other way. We only found out on our last evening in Cordoba that it has a huge and bustling city center on the other side.
