1. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. It was my first time being in a non-English speaking country. The staff made me relaxed and feel welcomed at first sight. I love the 5 euro breakfast definitely. It was yogurt with some fruit and cereal. I was hoping to have it again in the evening before I left Spain. It was a shame it was only available in the morning. 2. I selected the airport shuttle in the bookings filters. It seems there is no shuttle service from the hostel but it is quite close to the airport and connected with public transport. 3. The cleanness and facilities in general is satisfactory. 4. I definitely love the travel suggestions at the reception. I would have missed the beach and the bunkers easily without the recommendations.

The airport was a short distance away,and was a fairly easy ride...I would recommend an Uber tho.I arrived over an hour and half late...But this was okay,as the reception is open 24-7...Just ring the bell😊..The rooms were great,and had air conditioning too.There is a shuttle to the airport available,for a small fee...Talking of which,there is a tiny tax fee per night too,but that only works out around 60pn English Money per night....I liked the local people and Carlos who was at reception,when I got there,was great,Really nice fella...He showed me where the Beer was... and was very polite.Overall a good stay,would recommed to anyone,solo traveller or a group...The outside space was huge,and it had a good bar and seats available.The mood was calm,they had a small library with a few free drinks like coffee or tea,aswell.I would deffo stay here again,Thankyou.

The only thing was the internet connection was not that great,,but to be honest,that did,nt bother me much at all.No other big issues.

Very convenient location, from the subway to the hostel 7 minutes with a stroller, back to the airport went by bus (stop is located in 5 minutes walk) as the departure was at 6 am.

Breakfast was included, but check out was early and breakfast was from 6am and we didn't get to it. Reported this information to the front desk in the evening, but the front desk girl did not have this information in the morning. Which caused a delay in our departure to the airport. We were given 3 bananas)

I loved their outside patio bar! Lively and nice to be able to sit and relax with a glass of wine without having to go anywhere. I really appreciated how close it is to the bus line to the airport. Made for an easy exit to the airport. Staff were very nice and helpful. Met some lovely fellow travelers.

No real complaints. I appreciate their 24 hour check in policy...and, did hear a bit of it in the middle of the night, although they did make effort to keep as quiet as possible. It is a hostel after all.

Very close to the airport and we were able to checkin super late at night. Surprisingly the area is very lively when we roamed around during the day with loads restaurants and bars. When we were there, the neighbour hood had a tapa + beer offers around like a tapa festival

i had to do some work so checked out at 7am and worked in their common area however they told me to leave by 3pm otherwise i would be charged a checkout fee. That was quite odd considering i was out of the dorms so early, the common area was not busy and they didn't even offer the the option to purchase beer or coffee to stay.

I was arriving into Barcelona by train from Valencia and flying out early in the morning, so wanted to stay at a hotel. There was an easy access to the airport.  this place was great. It was very affordable, friendly for the brief time I was there, and a super quick train ride directly to the airport.  it’s in acute little town that was closed when I arrived, but when I walked to the train early in the morning, I got to see some of the local shops, and even stopped for breakfast at the local market. Good place, friendly people, good stay!

Very friendly people here! I felt very safe all the time, even traveling as a single female. The 24-hour reception is great to have- there was always someone there to help with whatever I needed. There is a shared kitchen, so you can buy some groceries and make some normal food, and there were always people cooking things that smelled really good! I was inspired to make more soups when I got home. My room was noisy being right next to the bar, but I didn't mind- I can sleep through people talking all around me- reminds me of being a kid actually, sleeping on the couch in the living room. It was cold when I arrived but there was a heater in the room so I used that to get cozy. I also really liked the neighborhood- much more chill than downtown Barcelona and I met many lovely people working in the little shops nearby. There are some snacks, coffee, and drinks available for sale here as well- nothing fancy but very reasonably priced.

No fresh food served here and it's a little messy at times. This is a youth hostel, not a hotel! There is limited staff but all in all, it's a great place!

This is a backpacker hostel and in the backpacker category it's absolutely great. It has this old vibe that I remember from 20 years ago and thought it's lost due to commercialism. The staff at the reception is very friendly. We had a family room (traveled with 2 year old) and were afraid it might be noisy, but no noise problem at night. You can reach Barcelona City Center easily by metro and the airport is near too. We stayed here only 1 night, but would recommend it! Great playgrounds around if you're with kids!

thanks to all the staff . in particular the guy in the noon when I checked( forgot the name apologies), but he introduced me to Sofia ( another gem staff) . Thank you both ! he went a step ahead to help me plan my travel itinerary and trust me it was the best! I covered max in lil time. the room was comfortable. bathroom was common for genders, but ok though I was bit uncomfortable using it in presence of a male brushing out. can place a large towel on the door and it works. free breakfast ( included in my package included cornflakes, milk, tea/coffee/juice. and a fruit which is again ok. not aware of paid breakfast options. loved the open bar. such a. positive vibe! ppl enjoying and happy. entire staff was supportive. would love to visit again. and yes just a 6-7 min walk from the nearest metro station . 😊🌸

Frankly, I was positively surprised, as the reviews on booking were alarming. Sure, Mucha Masia is far from city centre, but it's in a great location if you're arriving at the airport in the middle of the night and need a place to stay. The reception is open 24/7 and the staff is very helpful. Dormitory was clean, equipped with lockers for storing your things. Bed was comfortable and the little curtain even helped create a little privacy. Breakfast was modest, but enough, and I really appreciate that they had vegan milk (oat and almond). There's even a nice spacious terrace to enjoy the morning sun!

The price/quality ratio could have been better.
