Extremely comfortable room and bed with good quality linens. Good wardrobe space with lots of hangers and even a clothes steamer. Good quality bathroom products and towels. Everything was very clean. It is nice having a room with a balcony even if it is a city view. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient speaking all languages. The restaurant was superb we had the best meal of our stay there, highly recommend having dinner. Easy walk to the Dali museum and Ramblas Parking directly across the street for a small fee. It was a great hotel and would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

Great location within walking distance from the city center and the Dali museum. The hotel has wonderful furnishings and you see dozens of antique chests and desks. The hotel is filled with original valuable artwork from the owner's collection. The attached restaurant provided an upscale dining experience and the morning breakfast service was very good. Private, off street parking is available directly across the street from the entrance to the hotel.

No negative experiences to report. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend this hotel to our friends.

The reception staff at this hotel are exceptional. Friendly, helpful and informative. The room was superb, and the best bed linen I have ever had. Luxurious high quality bedding. Very clean. While we were there they were refurbishing many of the rooms, ours was one not yet refurbished, and it was one of the best places we stayed in during our three month visit to Europe. The food in the evening is excellent for special occasions.

The breakfast was disappointing. The cold buffet was acceptable but the hot food wasn't. Eggs were either undercooked or overcooked. Having eggs made to order would have been better.

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful history and plenty of stunning artwork adorn the walls of the lobby and dinning room. We stayed for two nights and also ate at the hotel restaurant. The quality of the food was wonderful. Parking onsite around the back of the Hotel and also adjacent from the Hotel (first in, first served bases). The room and bathroom where spotlessly clean. A bottle of water supplied in our fridge each day. Breakfast is buffet and a good selection of things, from scrambled and poached eggs, bacon, through to granola, varieties of yoghurt (soya), fresh fruit, cheese and meats. Also milk options (soya, oat milk etc). Shout out to the breakfast staff who were so friendly and welcoming. The Hotel is a short walk from Salvador Dalis Musuem and other attractions.

Nothing.

I cannot fault Hotel Pirineos. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The Reception desk staff spoke English and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very comfortable and clean and the included breakfast was extensive and extremely good value for money. When we were unable to book a taxi to get to the station, a member of staff drove us in the hotel's vehicle. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel.

we have visited this hotel many times we really enjoy staying here

our room had a very strong air freshener smell which was uncomfortable for sleeping. we were told we couldn’t have the set menu because we hadn’t booked dinner bed and breakfast which was disappointing and this hadn’t happened before. we have been welcomed by better receptionists. but the Boss Lady saved the day when she helped me buy 2 necklaces from the Hôtel jewellery cabinet and we thank her very much for that.

The hotel is 10-12 min walking distance to the Dali museum. Staff was very helpful. Room was nice, AC was working well, WiFi was good. There are 2 parkings opposite the hotel: the underground parking of the hotel is probably more secure, the open one is without surveillance.

Just FYI: you would have to make 6-7 steps to get to an elevator from reception area. Not a big deal, but in case you travel with heavy luggage.... Breakfast was OK only. I arrived at 9.30 pm and had to rush to the restaurant to place an order before 10 pm. The food was OK only and I was not impressed with the menu.

1. Having made the reservation, we got a call from the hotel and could discuss our preferences and needs for a bathroom, room orientation and parking. Thank you so much to staff for their attention to our questions. 2. Parking with big lots and a charging station for electric cars. 3. Good restaurant at place. We found no decent restaurants on the streets in the city center.

1. A small double bed (not more than 1.4 m wide) with a hard mattress. 2. In the bathroom there was a list of bathroom amenities available in the hotel, but next to the washbasin we found only a small piece of soap and a small bottle of shower gel already started by a previous visitor. 3. Parking is expensive (14 euros) and in addition to the rate announced at booking.com, the hotel charged us 6 euros for charging our electric car telling that this is done according to national laws. We stayed later in two other hotels in Costa Brava and no one charged us this additional fee.

Breakfast was excellent: extensive choice of freshly cut fruits, cereals, breads, patisseries, yoghurts, cheeses, meats, and some cooked items. The room was very clean and the hotel very smart. Parking was under cover, clean and well lit, easy to access from the hotel, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre. I was massively impressed with the cleanliness of the toilets within the parking garage, and found having these very convenient too.

Parking fees should be more transparent at time of booking ('parking available for an additional fee') or parking should be free for residents.

Perfect hotelroom and breakfast. However our experience in the restaurant was not good. We asked staff for our first beverages. One person with coeliakie, but this was not communicated with the kitchen. Food was good, but if you order potato/fries and one person is not able to eat it, that is no good.

The restaurant. No capabele staff. Just arrived in restaurant and a waiter came with bottle of wine, which we not have ordered. Then We have to ask staff for our first beverages, after 10 minutes later. One person with coeliakie, but this was not communicated with the kitchen. Food was good, but if you order potato/fries and one person is not able to eat it, that is no good.
