Beautiful location. The hotel is perfect for a visit to the natural park and village of Grazalema. Value for money, great rooms, bathroom and comfy beds. The pool and jacuzzi with the views is amazing. Great breakfast.

Summer time was peak season with lots of families and children. The hotel organized dance/music by the pool area with very loud music. This was very invasive for the rest of the guests and did not go well keeping mind the tranquility of the place.

having previously told them about my wife’s accessibility issues - the receptionist gave us a room near the end of a very long corridor. A long way to walk on crutches! we asked to change room to a closer room - the second-most closest room to amenities was available! there were perhaps only 4 or 5 other couples/families staying as hotel was very quiet! The room was described as ‘partial mountain views’ Partial indeed! see photo.

This was a fantastic hotel. The buffet dinner in the restaurant was lavish ... not only were there wonderful tapas starters, a huge array of salads, hot foods and desserts, there was also a chef to personally cook you a main of your choice. Breakfast was equally extensive and delicious . The grounds were very well maintained and parking was easy. The pool was large and lovely to swim in, though quite cold, and the views from the balcony across the valley to Grazalema were spectacular. There was also an animal nursery with roosters, hens, sheep, goats and rabbits, which kids would love. Our room was well appointed clean and comfortable. A bonus was that we arrived at 10.30am and were able to check in and have full use of our room. We would definitely stay here again

Leaving

We loved the rocking chairs in the room, and the decor there and all over the hotel. Watching the water flow under the floor was amazing! And we were close enough to the old town to walk there every day and enjoy all the history of the place.

We thought the breakfasts could have been a bit more varied with more food choices. But we loved the dining area and all the ambiance.

The location has outstanding views over the national park and well situated for exploring the surrounding area. The buffet breakfast was really good, lots of choice and all very fresh. We also tried the evening buffet which was really good value for money with lots of choice.

It would have been nice to have a proper old fashioned menu instead of the QR codes

The service from Booking .com. We were told we would pay at the property. Then we were told we must pay in advance. We thought this might be a scam and I had to contact reception at the hotel by email to sort everything out. They could not have been more helpful and I will book direct next time. .

We absolutely loved this hotel. The location is simply stunning, the hotel itself gorgeous, very comfortable, beautiful pool (refreshing!) and the icing on the cake were the staff. Service was exceptional and everyone was so friendly and nice - made us feel so at home, lots of helpful suggestions of things to see and do, nothing was too much trouble. Loved it, and hope to go back soon. Gracias Paco, Juan, Ana, Gloria y todos!

The views across the valley are glorious. The rooms have their own private balcony which is lovely. Free parking. Beautiful swimming pool. And now for the food! An absolutely sumptuous buffet dinner for €19 per head is excellent value. And the breakfast the following morning was equally fine. The hotel is 4 star but clearly welcomes young families. Informal yet very attentive staff who run everything with precision. We would certainly return !

Everything was perfect except one small point. The GPS coordinates provided are those of the hotel itself. This is a problem as the driveway entrance is some 150m distant. So, when the GPS advises that the property is on the left; it IS but it is impossible to get to as the entrance was some 200 meters behind you and it is impossible to turn around on such a small narrow road. The GPS coordinates need to be the hotel driveway entrance. That way, all will be even more PERFECT.

Buffet breakfast and dinner very good . Pool bar restaurant better but extremely expensive and not value for money. Views from public terraces stupendous but room view and terrace disappointing as obscured by trees. The dog was made welcome which is unusual in Spain

Nothing really

The selection and quality of food was excellent both at breakfast and dinner. The service in the restaurant was of a very high standard. There were limited numbers of staff but those that worked were quick and highly efficient. The location and views were stunning . The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable and we had a balcony which meant we could enjoy the afternoon sun and look at the view. Thanks to all for a wonderful stay.

The decor in the bathrooms seemed a little dated although was spotlessly clean.
