This hotel is very well managed. From the parking area to the room everything is so easy. The place looks brand new. Everything is super clean. Receptionists are very friendly and pleasant. The room was large, AC worked well, view on the garden is nice and insulation is great. The breakfast is not a buffet; the staff takes your order and serves you with a large smile. The variety is great. The restaurant is not open at night; but there is a large shopping center at a walking distance with good restaurants and a gas station. Everything to make an extremely pleasant stop on our way back to Portugal.

Excellent location for a stopover enroute between France and Spain. Room was of a good size, bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was enormous! Cleanliness was exceptional. Unusually for a hotel in Spain (in our experience), there were coffee making facilities in the room in the shape of a Nespresso (or similar) machine, but there were no instructions and only two capsules were provided (although doubtless we could have obtained more from the reception). We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on type/quality.

We knew at the time we booked that there would be no evening meals available which was a little disappointing, given that there wasn't really anywhere nearby to eat (as far as I'm aware). As it was a one night stay it didn't really matter. Also, we stayed at another nearby hotel on our return trip which, although wasn't as comfortable as this one, was better value for money.

Hotel has a good looking restaurant with tables set - but permanently closed! Reception advised there were places to eat - that way. Locatyion is at autoroute ramp with large petrol station and car wash. Off got one side is an enormous Auchan - with two coffee shops - not attractive after a 1200km drive from the Algarve. Apparamnetly there are supposed to be restaurants at the bay k of Auchan - hotel reception should provide simple map and list restaurants. Spain has a major deficiency in naming roads and buildings along them. Even road numbers are crazy. Finding a building iOS not much easier than finding one in a Japanese city.

This was a really nice hotel to stay in. The room was very clean, and an excellent size, as was the en suite bathroom, the shower was very nice, and spacious. The room had a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and air conditioning. The grounds are lovely and there is ample car parking around the hotel. The bed was to die for, lovely linen and very very comfortable. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in out of the 6 we booked on our trip. I would highly recommend it.

There was nothing about this hotel that we didn't like.

What an absolutely fabulous find. An extraordinary small hotel in an oasis of green in the midst of a commercial and right next to the motorway. None of which you notice when you’re in the hotel. Welcoming, generous-spirited and very lovely staff. Lovely restaurant, only open at lunchtime but they still fed us after we arrived just after 4.00 pm. Breakfast was fabulous, even for me (gluten intolerant). And we had a dog. They all loved her and she came with us into the restaurant as well as to the room, which was unusual but much appreciated. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. We had an electric car too. Not a problem but they really went the extra mile as the torrential rain had knocked out the 2 chargers outside. They let us put our car in their own garage where their son has a charger! They pay attention to the details. And they speak English. And French. A truly wonderful experience to be repeated! Thank you.

Unassuming hotel that turned out to be a great surprise. The room was very quiet, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The on-site free parking is a plus. However, the best part was the friendly, welcoming staff.

Second time we’ve stayed here, location is excellent for travelling to and from England to the Costas in Spain by car! it’s literally 2 minutes from the toll road to Irun. All the staff are always so friendly and helpful, from Jessica on reception to Beatriz (I think her name is) the waitress at breakfast, chef was super friendly too! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. In the winter, a lovely log fire awaits you in reception! No restaurant for dinner but Al Campo and the shopping centre is a 5 minute walk, or you can order a pizza to be delivered to the hotel. Breakfast was a generous array of whatever you could want for breakfast - lovely fresh orange juice! Dog friendly too.

We used this hotel as a 1-night stop-over for a road trip from the UK to the Costa Blanca. After a long ride we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is well located, just over the Spanish border, close to the highways, and in the beautiful Basque Country. The rooms were excellent and comfortable. We got two connected rooms for the kids and they were over the moon with their 'welcome sweets'. Breakfast was very good and we were again helped by the most friendly staff. Our holidays had started from the moment we arrived in Atalaia.

The only negative is that we booked for only one night

Everything, perfect location, lovely comfortable room, bed amazing, breakfast was delightful. Family run business, who we had the pleasure to meet, who couldn’t have been more accommodating. We traveled with our big dog who was most welcome at the property. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again.

Nothing not to like!

The Lady facilitating breakfast was exceptional. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would return purely for the relaxing breakfast experience.

The main entrance was locked upon arrival and a sign directed us to the restaurant. The guy in the restaurant was anything but friendly and we were obviously an inconvenience (I could use considerably stronger expletives).
