It is nice authentic place with all rooms in its own style, big balconies and nice view. The inner yard is very beautiful. I like to stay in such places where you can feel the spirit of the country, and with not a lot of people at the hotel. I had problems with my room, and I was immediately offered another, even bigger room.

The road near hotel is noisy, and as I slept with opened windows it was loud. You have to go shortly along the road, but even to go two minutes along this road is annoying. Hotel is not so close to the sea, actually. There was unpleasant smell in my bathroom, not something terrible but if I stayed longer I guess it could be a problem.

The owners and staff of the hotel were just lovely- extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel was very charming with a beautiful courtyard and terrace with great views of the bay. The room was very clean, nicely furnished and comfortable.

Although the hotel is located close to the beach and promenade (in walking distance) - it is only connected to the town by a busy road without sidewalk. So either one needs to drive to the beach or walk on the side of this road for a few mins. It’s a bit unfortunate because everything else about this hotel we found wonderful.

Very special place. Small scale hotel designed by a renowned architect. Very tasteful interior and nostalgic feeling. Coastal hotels like this are hard to find in this region. Away from the crowds and good parking possibilities yet close to the sea. Staff were attentive and personal. The room looked every day very crisp with fresh linnen. Very nice breakfast and excellent dining possibilities. I strongly recommend and would certainly come back!

The sea view terraces were not available on Sunday.

Loved the architecture/lay out of the hotel. Room was lovely and the hotel has a nice vibe about it. Would definitely stay again. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Didn't have breakfast as I was visiting family.

Would have liked access to a fridge to keep my water cold as there is no communal area when the reception closes. But that , I hope is a constructive comment and in no way detracts from the friendly staff and how well the hotel is run!

The location is a 10 minute walk to the beach. It is a beautiful, small, well designed hotel. The terrace allows for fabulous view of the sea and the prefcet place for breakfast in the morning and a gin and tonic in the afternoon. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

You have to walk along a main road for a couple of minutes to reach the main town - not a problem for us, but it maybe if you have small children.

Just one of the best places in La Herradura! Antonio, the owner of La Tartana, is just incredible and very kind person! Service and everything what you want was just in a hight level! Food in a restaurant, especially fish and meat were so delicious. You should try it by yourself!!! It was a great pleasure to be there almost one hole week!

The hotel is really charming. You are welcome by a beautiful patio with a small fountain. Breakfast is served on a terrace facing the sea and it is as delicious as it gets.

It is a five minutes walk to the centre but it is a walk along a road with no sidewalk, no illumination and no shade. It is hot in the day and dangerously dark at night.

Antonio the owner and his wife are fantastic people. they are extremely Kind and helpful. the place is very authentic Spanish/Andalusian style. food is very good we had heard risks of being bothered by the noise of the road but we were on a room on the road side and were not disturbed at all (and I m not an easy sleeper :) ) see you next time !!

The room was excellent and the staff were very friendly., lovely atmosphere.

If hotel had been busy , parking would have been difficult.

The rooms were big and well decorated. The staff was very friendly. We had dinner in their restaurant (booked the day before) and it was amazing. We congratulated the cook

There is a road between the hotel and the beach which was a bit inconvenient. Only some rooms had a fridge. I think they all should have one
