The room was great value for money. The room was nothing fancy, however the hotel itself had fantastic facilities and was in a great location. Walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to see in Madrid. The little coffee shop within the hotel made amazing “Melbourne” quality coffee. The gym was small but well equipped with clean, modern equipment. The rooftop was nice, although the pool was freezing! We didn’t try the breakfast as it wasn’t included in our booking however it looked good!

$50 euro (minimum food and drink spend) to hire a daybed on the rooftop was a bit of a rip off I think. We were going to do it so that we could relax one afternoon, however we were advised you couldn’t even eat there and that you had to go downstairs to eat. The menu was very limited. Also the sun sets on the other side of the building in the afternoon and the beds end up in the shade, so we decided it just wasn’t worth it.

Amenities and atmosphere was really good. Pool has a gorgeous view and location was really good for access to the main city center.

As a holiday guest not a working visitor each morning was horrible hearing the doors slam at the hallway locations for each person as they went to work making it impossible to sleep. It should be asked what the purpose of the booking is for and holiday guests and working guest should be in different areas.

Great location - close to Plaza España/Opera metro. Clean, quiet and modern interior. Young and contemporary vibe. Complementary water and snack on the first day which was appreciated due to the heat. All in all, great value for money!

Due to time constraints we didn't have time to try the pool. However, even though it's cool that the pool is located on the roof, it is "bottomless" (i.e. glas floor with views from under the building). It seemed a bit invasive for those wearing bikinis. More a 'good to know' than a deal breaker.

For the price the facilities you get, the location and the big modern room in general is unbelievably good, such a steal. To get to a lot of places we had to walk by the palace that was beside the hotel almost every day and it’s absolutely beautiful during sunsets. Our room had a lounge/garden area outside at the front where anyone can sunbathe or chill and the room itself has its own section for a kitchen like area, bathroom area and the bedroom area and it’s very spacious. The TV could connect to Bluetooth, which was a nice little bonus for us to play music. Overall I’m so glad I found this spot exploring all the facilities provided is a journey and itself when you’re there.

I would’ve liked the pool to be opened later but I understand

The gym was really well appointed with equipment and open 24 hours. Rooftop pool was great in the 40 degree heat . The staff were all amazing. From check in, to the restaurant, pool bar, and workspace cafe. The room was lovely, the skylight was awesome, decor was awesome. Loved the overall interior design of the place. Conveniently situated. Free coffee refills daily for Nespresso machine, and fresh bottled waters.

Not much. The lighting in the rooms are very modern, but very dark for when you need to do work or look for things in luggage, lighting can be improved. The rooftop pool seating/lounging is very limited, everything is reserved with towels. I reckon non hotel guests were making use of the pool.

Everything, so many places to hang out, the bar, the cafe, the rooftop , garden, one of the coworking spaces, even a quiet room if you need to work. Excellent breakfast, excellent WiFi and in a great area just minutes away from the places espagna. Also, supermarket a few minutes away as possible also to cook on the hotel in a shared kitchen. They also have a self service laundry room. It’s a beautiful place too and great rooms. Really perfect stay. The personnel were I credibly friendly and helpful. I will come bank !

The prices in the café are exodus- 5 euros for a cafe or a juice but I guess if you are organised you can go buy your own ! :-)

Modern clean youth hotel. We had a fairly quiet room and were able to take a break from the noise. In the room, coffee with a coffee maker, cookies and water were waiting for us as a treat. The hotel has many areas where you can work, socialize or just relax with a cup of coffee or a cocktail. Also, for an additional fee, you can use the coworking space for work. The hotel has a swimming pool and a gym. Great location (city center and metro within walking distance). I was also pleased with the attitude of the administration: I suddenly had a problem with my leg, I could not walk, because of which I had to interrupt my vacation and return home for medical help. As per hotel policy, cancellations will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee. The administration was able to make an exception. Among the pluses, I would also highlight the presence of a refrigerator and a safe in the room, a comfortable bed and climate control (despite the intense heat outside, the stay at the hotel was as comfortable as possible). We will definitely come here again.

Not very big pool

Hotel and rooms are really nice. Got to use the gym and pool with the room, its the center of Madrid so pool is obviously a bit smaller but still great to have. Loads of space to work in the open plan remote working areas, me and my girlfriend had to work 1.5 days there and wifi and space was great.

Price of coffee and pastries are a bit on the steep side in the hotel lobbie cafe, especially with so many Spanish cafes and Tapas bars so close that are the normal prices. This isn't a big deal at all really, no one is forcing you to buy a coffee!

The staff was very kind in providing solutions to solve some issues we had with the room. The location is awesome and the food is very tasty.

We had a problem with a toilet (which was solved quickly by the maintenance team) but we genuinely believe a hotel like this should be aware of broken toilets. Apart from that, 1 member of the reception staff was rude by saying to my girlfriend she might not know how to turn on the light (when we said the bathroom was a bit dark). Apart from this staff member, everyone else was super kind and comprehensive.
