Villa Antumalal was a wonderful, relaxing experience. We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of June in an ocean view room with king bed and small patio. Room was very spacious, with good wifi, AC, fridge, and private bath. The hosts Rossella and Michele were very gracious and helpful in suggesting local restaurants in area. Our luggage was delayed 48hrs beyond our arrival and they even offered to do a load of laundry for us and were helpful facilitating delivery of our bags. Property is adults only, very quiet and is located in a beautiful residential area in the hills about 10min east of Malaga Centro by bus. It is a perfect location if you don't want to be in the middle of the city center. While taxi is available, we walked up and down the hill (with stairs) to bus stops, market, and restaurants. Breakfast was provided and very tasty - meats, cheeses, fruit, breads, cereals, yogurt and a fresh baked cake daily. Property has a pool and yard with lovely view of the water. Highly recommended!!!

Superb villa, the hosts are super nice, the breakfast choices varied from lots of fresh fruits to some very tasty mortadella. There were also lots of drinks such as coffee and different types of chocolate drink, tea, orange juice. There are many stairs so if you are traveling with lots of luggage like we did, you will do a quick workout on the way. Moreover, if you are not traveling by car/moto, I would recommend taking an Uber to get there as the villa is located on top of a hill and it can be difficult to go by foot with luggage. :) The parking is nonexistent, however there is some space (on the street) where you can park just 1 min away from the villa.

We had a lovely welcome from Michele to help us carry the suitcase to our room. Such a clean and comfort villa and the pool is amazing to jump in after a hot spanish sunny day! We also had some amazing homemade Gin-Tonics made by Michele and Rossella. Lovely people, helped us out printing and giving good advice about restaurants and places. Really recommend this place!! Thanks for the great staff to make our week perfect!

warm care from the hosts, home made cake for breakfast, cappuccino is excellent (on request) house is extremely clean ! we recognized that there were no bugs, ants, flies or mosquitos. pool is clean as well. Suite has a large bathroom and plenty of storage area. there was always a parking spot on the street need to know: the entrance area has 32 steps from the street to the door step, steep and small streets to reach the house

Villa Antumalal is not for any kind of traveler. It is for the people who know to appreciate the rafinament of an precious style villa, with a perfect view to the sea. Large, very comfortable bed, large bathroom and a balcony. A huge lounge area at the first floor with patios outside and a swimming pool (not used because of the cold weather). Good and variated breakfast; free parking on the street, very quiet and elegant neighborhoods. 10 minutes walking to the beach and promenade, 25 minutes walking to the city centre. Villa Antumalal is a rafinat place to stay in Malaga.

Splendid location outside the busy city centre, but close enough to walk when you're up to it. Wonderfull view and tranquility in return. Very helpfull and present landlord, and great choice at breakfast. Clean and big room and bathroom. Not too far from the highway to start visiting the region.

A steep climb but taxis or ubers take you there easily. No parking at property, but available near in the street. Thin walls between bedrooms, but adults only keeps it quiet.

This property is a hidden gem, and the location is charmingly situated in the hills just above the city. It is quiet and peaceful, in a residential area surrounded by beautiful old trees and quiet little streets, with a view of the sea below. It is tucked away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet the beach promenade is an easy 15 minute walk downhill, and one can either walk or hop on a bus to the old town. Coming back is a little more difficult, since the walk is uphill, but taxis are plenty and cheap - so actually no problem at all! The owners went out of their way to make our stay special and the personal touch was second to none. The breakfast was good, always something different and the hosts were always there to cater for any special requests or questions and advice in general. I liked that the atmosphere was so personal, and the property was so clean with a very pretty garden, pool, and sea view. Also loved the 'adults only' setup. I will definitely plan to return. We left very early in the morning and the evening before, a lovely breakfast tray was brought to our room so we could have breakfast the next day. These personal touches and the hosts' friendliness were very much appreciated!

There was nothing I didn't like! These are just a few details intended as positive feedback rather than criticism. Breakfast - would be great if boiled eggs could be served hot. Room - more coat hangers near the entrance and hooks for towels. Coffee - could be served in a little thermos so it stays hot. Apart from these little details, everything else was perfect and the room, warm welcome and beautiful place and location were really wonderful.

Breakfast was good. There were hard boiled eggs, slices of different types of ham, bread, fresh juice, cereal, fruits. Nothing was prepared for you; all was self-serve. I enjoyed it to get the stomach full for the time being.

The walls aren't as soundproof. Sometimes you could hear the shower running for the next-door room and when you walk up the stairs, footsteps could be heard. After all it is a house, you are staying in, so it is understandable.

The entire experience from arrival until departure was simply flawless. The host was amazing and so was the breakfast, swimming pool and the view from the back garden. I can definitely recommend the place and also if given the chance, we will gladly return here. I can say that the experience at the villa made the entire stay more beautiful and relaxed. If given the chance to stay in any random hotel or the villa, I would choose the villa without any second guess just because of the hospitality of the host and amazing customer service that can easily match and even surpass any 5 star hotels and also made us have a superb overall experience. Thank you for giving us an amazing vacation.

Beautiful situation with knockout view. Very comfortable and owners extremely helpful and pleasant.

Only small thing is that there isn’t much sound insulation between rooms but it wasn’t a problem for us as other guests quiet.
