The castle is a true experience!! the staff gave us a room with a beautiful view of the tower and the sea!! the room was amazing!!!

the shower was not built right, we couldn’t take a shower without making a big pool of water on the floor! we had to be very fast to avoid a lot of water on the floor. for this high end hotel this is very uncomfortable. the menu Was very limited , we wished we could enjoy more meals at this beautiful castle

The architecture and the rooms are absolutely beautiful, 4m high windows, in our de luxe room. The armchairs are comfortable, the desk is perfect. Toiletries from Bulgari, the bed sheets from best cotton. Marble floors throughout. The bathroom is a clean high-end design and comfort. Delicious food in the restaurant. The view is exceptional, overlooking the bay of Malaga. The gardens are beautifully set and taken care of. 10 min walk to the beach, 20 to down town. Free parking. Many thanks to the staff, so friendly and kind! We enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

It is hard to fault this place but the system how breakfast is served has to be improved. The breakfast of €25pp has plenty of options. It is served in the beautiful well maintained gardens at beautifully set tables. The waitresses' are very kind and friendly. The buffet breakfast is "brought" to you to the table, on a tray- first the hams, then cold chesses, should be taken out of the refrigerator at least 1 hour before serving. One should have all the things on the table at once as if there are 4 tables needing attention, the food is brought at to bigger intervals.

The size of the room is very nice. As well the amount of small cosmetics.

The location of the hotel is very far from other restaurants, which should give the owners and managers some thought to refine the lunch and dinner menu in the hotel. The hotel's outdoor pool is a bigger tub and it's no joke. There are only six sunbeds in the entire hotel for all guests, this is also no joke, this is a real situation. And what's worst, the service has no passion, commitment, burnout is obvious there, guests are treated like customers from a cheap hotel chain. There is no mobilization of passion for what the do. It is a pity because the all staff could make changes to make the guest feel hosted for the high price he pays.

The hotel is just stunning. The old castle building, the view from the hilltop, the atmospheric yard and the infinity pool - it was amazing to stay here! The room was beautiful, the bathroom was spacious, and especially the room service (cleaning and details like water, throwpillows and bedtime sweets) was excellent. We stayed here on our honeymoon and can only recommend!

Some small details that could be improved: there was a garbage can in the bathroom, but not beside the toilet, the laundry prices were quite high, and the bedside lamps, though very stylish, almost took all the space on the bedside table. A small gym would also have been nice, but these are minor points. The only thing we were really missing were events at night - some live music or dancing shows in the courtyard would make a great addition to this amazing hotel.

Nice ambience, very calm and peaceful. Nice for couples. Pool area was small but nice. Rooms and furniture were really nice. Reception staff are nice.

The downstairs room beside the courtyard was quite dingy, it should probably not be bedroom and rather storage. When we were moved to a new room it was nice. The restaurant service is very slow and the selection of food in the restaurant is poor. Half of the menu was unavailable when we were there. In a five star hotel, it should be better. No fitness center is poor but here was an outdoor gym 15 mins walk away on the promenade. Staff should inform guests of this facility.

Our second time stay and again amazing. The reception staff ensured we had the same room as last year, without us asking. They very much helped us with requests and bookings, als very good handover. Evening question was known by the day staff. The location is very calm and takes a car or a walk of 30minutes to city center. We do not mind that at all. Nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. If you like to stay in the local environment, this place is great,

This year garden constructions where going on, starting noises at 8am. We would have liked to be known this upfront or in this level hotel the cosntruction would start at 09.30hr. The restaurant staff was nice, but looked as still learning, as needed to tempt a few times to ask, instead of being pro active for this level of hotel/restaurant service. Was at higher level our first year. Food is amazing, the breaksfast is expensive, also compared to local prices. We would go again.

The castle the hotel is located in has an amazing and very privileged location. There is plenty of common space inside and outside of the building. The views and interior design are amazing! There are only around 20 rooms in the hotel so there is a lot of privacy and space for everyone. We loved hanging around after breakfast and enjoying breathtaking sunsets. We have not dined at the restaurant but judging by the breakfast and looks of the food it seemed delicious. Spacious, free, private parking. 10 mins taxi drive to the centre.

The pool area is nice and clean but it doesn't fit the overall great image of a 5 star hotel.

Quiet location, comfortable beds, staff, cleanliness of the room.

The property should have an evening turndown service for the rooms.

Our room and the hotel were simply beautiful and fantastic, but above all the staff was excellent, and very hospitable!! We received a warm welcome from Mar the receptionist and Iwan the concierge. Their smiles made us feel right at home from the start. They were both so friendly and helpful. They chose such a beautiful room for us with a view over the seaside and mountains for which we are grateful. Actually all the staff we met from managers to restaurant staff were fabulous but Mar and Ivan stole our hearts; ). We felt like we were on our honeymoon ; ) The hotel and restaurant are situated in a former castle on top of a beautiful mountain top overlooking the city. The interiors are well-designed and stunning. We will definitely come back here and hope to meet them again. We highly recommend a stay or visit to this hotel or restaurant. Henk Jan and Mila Buchèl

This hotel is gorgeous but the staff are really the pinnacle of the experience, so attentive! Even before we arrived the receptionist Laura had offered exceptional advice (very patiently as I ask alot of questions!) We had the warmest greeting from her when we arrived and also met the charming Mamadou who showed us to our room and was very helpful during our stay with anything we needed, he's a very kind man who clearly enjoys his job and loves the hotel. Laura took the time to find us restaurant recommendations (she even researched vegetarian options for us as we don't eat meat) and she offered superb local advice on everything, including the weather! She was a very cheerful person to return to after our time exploring Malaga and was always very interested to hear about our day. The hotel itself is fabulous, very well appointed indeed. We stayed in room 302 which was truly the most beautiful room with a lovely (huge) terrace. The toiletries are lovely, a shampoo that doesn't strip your hair and moisturiser that actually does... oh and the shower, so lovely! It's roomy, great water pressure and beautifully tiled. Breakfast was just magical, served on the beautiful terrace surrounded by trees and plants and the beautiful building itself, a real haven of tranquility. The food offering was sublime, the right amount of choice, exceptional quality and the waiters we're just perfect, almost invisible but always there when you needed them (this is an art!) Just what you need in the morning, we couldn't fault it. We can't wait to return, this has been a fabulous experience and this hotel has earned its 5 star status with us! Please don't change anything or anyone! Nearly forgot to mention the beds.... amazing! So so comfortable :-) Truly we loved this hotel and the staff!
