Universal Hotel Lido Park & Spa

The food was great, a good variety of everything, every dinner was different, which was good. The rooms are clean and the beach is really close to the hotel. There are not too many people like on other beaches and the sea has almost no rocks.

The only thing I didn’t like is that there were no free drinks included to dinner, even water costs 3 €, which is usually for free. Also the bar and the kitchen are not interlinked so when we wanted sangria or a cocktail for dinner we couldn’t have it, only a limited choice of drinks was available.

The views, the views, the views! The pool area is perfect. The sunbed hire system is brilliant and takes away another level of stress. Lots of beds around pool and then more on various terraces overlooking the bay. The staff are all polite and friendly. The hotel and room was clean, comfortable and lovely. Air con great. The pine trees and views from pool and restaurant are a massive plus for serenity and calm. The food is lovely. The beach is right there, it is lovely too, water gently shelving, no jelly fish or anything off putting. There's some entertainment but not overbearing or every night. Everything felt calm and sophisticated. The clientele were mostly German, Austrian, maybe Swiss, French... quite conservative in a good way. No screaming kids all week, my teenage daughter and I had a relaxing peaceful restful stay. There were families with teens, young children, couples, older guests, young guests. Really seemed suitable for all. Definitely will return.

The bar, and food service, which was next to the pool was pricey. This seemed a shame at first but again, made for a sophisticated quiet vibe, so not too busy, loud or boozy. Nice for a treat when you choose, lovely cocktails, easy to nip to shops for snacks and drinks of your own if budgeting. Shopping touristy street pretty standard and tacky, but suits some after that kind of thing. Easy to have whole holiday in hotel and on beach without this having to play a part if you want to avoid like I do. Beds are sturdy, not cheap and uncomfy, but would be too hard for some, however you can ask for mattress topper no prob + extra pillows, duvets in wardrobe.

It's a very nice hotel, located at a nice location. Personnel is very kind. What was really nice, is that there are two beaches close to the hotel. One on the right, and one on the left. Next to that, it's close to the boulevard. My partner and myself visited during the low-season (last week of October), and there was still enough to do. Though, we understood that many facilities (throughout Mallorca) would close as of early november. In terms of how crowded it's at the beaches, low season is really a big plus. Plenty of beds available! Despite visiting during low season, the hotel was still crowded enough to give you the feeling you were not allone. Another plus was the breakfast.

Using the sauna costs extra money (but not that much). The pool is mainly in the shades, which during low season with lower temperatures means that it's cold to swim outside. I expect that this is not an issue during high season. The beds were quite okay, but not perfect. In terms of length it was good (I'm 1m90 long), but it's quite hard to lay down on.

sunbed policy requires a review . the lunch is expensive for what it is, local lunch much better quality and value for money!

It's a wonderful place to relax, to spend time with family and kids, to enjoy beautiful Mallorca beaches, bays and nature. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food - I'd say 8.5 out of 10, all products are very fresh, there's always plenty of food even in the end of breakfast/dinner, but it was hard to find something special. But all good! Location is superb, with a big pool and two beaches just next to the hotel and some more a bit further (all in walking distance). Pine tree terraces are the highlight! Restaurants and small shops are nearby. We absolutely enjoyed the tranquility, privacy and relaxed high-quality atmosphere of the hotel and would love to come back again.

Beds and pillows :/ Two single beds (expected, according to the room description) positioned next to each other, but pretty uncomfortable. I can't call it a small thing but it was the only disappointing moment.

I like the location next two very nice and peaceful beach, rooms are good size, daily events and great to have that girl name Betty who was organising all the kids activities and face painting.

one thing I kind of found really odd is they are charging for tap water filled in the bottle during dinner, this wasn’t mentioned anywhere that we are paying for dinner inclusive but for tap water we need to pay extra. and there is some other charges for every little thing, also two single bed joined to make double bed was very uncomfortable for couple.

large, clean hotel, even in peak season there was plenty of room & it never felt crowded. 2 beautiful beaches 30 seconds walk from the hotel with gorgeous beachside restaurants - a few mins walk past that & you’re in the centre of the resort with bars & souvenir shops!

you have to pay to reserve a sunbed in advance, which was a little restrictive (would have been nice to chill out on the shady terrace looking out over the sea sometimes but it was all reserved!). not much in the way of entertainment during the day but that’s perfect for anyone looking for a quieter hotel experience!

Really friendly und nice staff as well as cleanliness to the smallest detail were the reasons we decided to come again here this year. Our staying was again, like the other year, amazing. Everything well organized, the staff helped us every time with everything we needed and they were really welcoming und friendly. They helped us with what we needed to organize my birthday celebration and the hotel even surprised us with a small gift. Room perfect cleaned, food delicious, interesting evening events like live music, dancing or piano music.

the internet didn’t function, but personally didn’t bother me so much.

Food was very fresh and delicious. Facilities very clean. We traveled in early March and liked that there weren't too many guests.

The mattresses are quite firm if you like that. We were doubled charged for the buffet dinner one evening, so check on that before paying your final bill. FYI-The front desk clerk said July, August, and September are extremely crowded at the hotel.
