Good overall condition, modern room & facilities.

No character or charm. Very little within walking distance, no shops, eateries, pharmacy etc.

The hotel is next to the river and close to the restaurants and bars in Puente Viesgo and just a short drive to the ferry at Santander. There is plenty of parking and the rooms are excellent. It's just a short drive/walk to the stunning caves above the village. Well worth booking the caves online if you are staying at the hotel.

Diner wasn't up to the quality of the rest of the hotel but after a little 'discussion' we sorted things out.

Very happy to be upgraded to a large studio apartment, Lovely traditional hotel with nice pool and garden.

On a arrival, very disappointed to find the large hotel car park being used by the general public meaning no official guest parking available! We were advised that it was not possible for the hotel to effectively monitor this. The food was very ordinary both at breakfast and in the evening and the hot items were cold.

Spacious, well-equipped room, nice lounge area and outdoor pool.

The bed was hard and the indoor spa circuit was closed for maintenance during our stay. Given that this was the primary reason for choosing this hotel, we were very disappointed. The Cantabria circuit was a poor substitute.

Lovely hotel in a great location for walking and cycling. Very convenient for the ferry from Santander The cafeteria attached to the hotel was very convenient Furnishings all good quality.

A slightly unpleasant smell in the bathroom - we meant to report it to reception but forgot when checking out

The location is perfect for a weekend getaway. Take a breath and enjoy the surroundings.

The bathroom is old and has mould on the shower/bathtub. It needs an upgrade. The dinner didn't impress. Buffet type with average food. In this region and a 4 star hotel I would expect more than that.

Room, comfort all good. Buffet dinner excellent, staff very helpful. Location easy to find and very convenient for the ferry, 45 minute straight forward drive.

I was not advised that parking would be impossible on the Saturday due to another function in the town. Nor was I advised that adjacent to the hotel there was a VERY LOUD rock group playing live until 3 am. Sleep deprivation!!!! I was only staying for one night, then driving to Santander Ferry port, so above were not appreciated.

It's really nice value for money if you think about the 2hr at the spa

But the spa is really crowded...we payed for the offer including dinner and breakfast, they both were quite nice for a buffet but drinks weren't included and nobody told us that beforehand...so we got to pay a lot more before check out. Also...it kinda smells "old" at least the ground floor where we were.

What a beautiful hotel, visually stunning in a great location, the cafe / bar across the road is lovely, can be accessed by a delightful underground walk way. Breakfast impressive but expensive

Staff were quite offish

The atmosphere of the salons, the garden, the cafeteria and the area around the hotel and along the river Pas are realy wonderful
