Clean, very friendly and helpful staff and good location. We took train and hotel is right at stop. It is a walk up hill to town center. Very quiet even though at train station. Our room faced train tracks. Never disturbed. Heard one train horn in morning, but not that woke us up. Good breakfast with a good variety of items (need to pay for it). Breakfast is worth it, as otherwise, basically limited choices in town for breakfast. Such a cute town!
Chair in room missing seat cushion. Used sofa bed - very uncomfortable.

The room had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, and the room was spotless; breakfast was excellent and copious. As I was on my way to France by train, I had no difficulties getting to the station (down two floors from my room) and getting up into the historic centre of town for an evening meal was simple with the help of the free funicular railway. Puigcerda is a charming town with a sense of civic pride, and the Hotel Parada reflects this.
I had a single room and this was perfectly adequate. Two minor issues were: - the mixer tap for the shower was of the lever type, and I found myself frequently bumping into it and thus turning off the water; a thermostatic-control mixer of the type with swivel controls at each end would fix this; - some wall-mounted or free-standing shelves for storing clothes, etc. would help.

We came from Andorra by public bus and needed a place in the area to stay to visit the Vall de Nuria and then take the little yellow train from over the French border. This hotel was very well located in the upstairs of the train station. It is very nicely done up and the staff were lovely. Breakfast at €9.90 was also an ok deal if you need to get away early. For the price this was good value and would still consider again. I liked the muffins and tea/coffee available all day in the kitchen area, nice touch. The town itself was a welcome surprise, hadn't expected much but reserves an afternoon to explore. Central restaurant opposite church tower was a great stop for tapas.
We weren't so keen about the shower not being in a bathroom and just opening to the room, as the pictures online didn't indicate this. Toilet was enclosed. Word of warning: if you need a taxi, beware it may not turn up. Reception booked and confirmed a taxi for us to Latour de Carol and it never showed so we had to walk into France or would miss our train. Not this hotels fault but something to be aware of if staying.

Room was warm and spacious. Bathroom was clean and bright. Large bed with nice set of pillows. Nice view of the sunset and mountains.
External noise during the whole night, as if some engine was working non-stop. Generator? Industrial complex across the road? We'll never know... Check-in starts from 15:00, so if you'll come by train you'll have to spend some hours somewhere.

Location, spa area is what I have valued the most. Breakfast was good, local products were very tasty, however, tortilla and small frankfurt sausages could be much better.
Some small details in the bathroom - toilet was not completely attached to the floor, and every time we used it it moved. The drawer where the hair dryer was didn't close properly. No major issue though.

A very clever adaptation of Puigcerda station. Some rooms are in the the rafters with the supporting metal roof structure exposed. Artfully done, but with no windows overlooking the station square. No restaurant but a good Catalan buffet breakfast. Parking in adjacent streets or on land next to the Pyrenean railway linking Barcelona and Foix in France. Access to Puigcerda town and its excellent range of restaurants and shops is across the station squire via a pair of lifts. The view of the Segre valley from the top is impressive.

Spa access and location were spectacular
We’ve paid extra for breakfast and they’ve told us it was until 10:30, we went down by 09:30 and everything was almost finished, when we asked to staff to renew the food they said no, so we had 2 croissants and two coffees for 20€.

Very clean and nicely decorated hotel inside the train station. We liked the design of the interior, the simple but functional room and the very good soundproofing (you are literally on top of the rails but you can't hear when trains pass by). Spacious bathroom with everything we needed. Very friendly staff at the reception. Convenient free parking nearby. As a bonus, there's a mini spa at the second floor.
Being it a train station the surroundings (especially if you follow google maps) may seem a bit dodgy. Also, you need to take two elevators to reach the city center. We felt we were missing a table in the room sometimes.

Excellent hotel, although some of the staff were a little 'pre-occupied' and the breakfast facilities (especially coffee dispenser) not entirely obvious, although other guests were pleased to assist.
Some of the morning staff were less than helpful. Parking was somewhat random.

Lovely renovated train station hotel about half a mile downhill from the town centre. Friendly and welcoming staff, unique rooms and an excellent breakfast selection made our stay faultless. The free lift elevator up to the town was an unexpected bonus.
Not as central as expected but the hotel is served by a free funicular operating 0600-2330 to get you to and from the town. Otherwise it's a long uphill hike.
