We were so happy to find this fantastic little hotel. It is conveniently located in the center of town - but very quiet and peaceful. We were able to leave our balcony windows open at night to enjoy the fresh ocean air - wonderful nights sleep! The room was extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable - perfect! We had a view of the ocean from our balcony. The rooftop was a great place to relax, with comfortable seating and beautiful views. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff were all so very helpful and friendly. It really showed that they cared about providing guests with a quality stay. I Would highly recommend and wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else!

Banana Garden has exceeded all my expectations. It is a very new, well decorated, comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. The location couldn't be better. 5 minutes from the beach, walking distance from the main landmarks in Santa Cruz and surrounded by many restaurants and shops.The staff is incredibly kind, approachable and supportive. And for a fair price they serve delicious cocktails and hot beverages that you can have in the wee cozy cafe besides the reception, or on the rooftop while enjoying the stunning views over Santa Cruz beach. They also offer complimentary breakfast with a good range of fresh fruit and both savory and sweet options.I have absolutely loved this place and I have no doubts that I will stay there again if I am lucky to come back to La Palma.

Studio and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. There is a well-appointed roof terrace with superb views over the town and the ocean, where we enjoyed local craft beers. The breakfast, and indeed everything on offer in the cafeteria, was of excellent quality. Decor throughout was tasteful and original, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and the general impression was of a well-run and well cared-for establishment.

Great location in the center of Santa Cruz. Easy check in, spotless and very spacious room with a sea view! Amazing breakfast included in the price - we had ours on the beautiful roof terrace at sunrise 😍. Staff all knowledgeable and very helpful. Really can’t recommend enough.

No parking at the property but fairly easy to find on street or underground parking nearby.

Very cute lobby where you also have breakfast and can have a drink. The roof terrace is also very nice. Clean rooms and tasty breakfast. Very friendly staff who gave us great tips. It's on a quiet road which is also nice. Pretty beach view from our room too.

No air conditioning, other than that it was perfect for us.

The place was clean, neat, and on point. Very good central location in Santa Cruz, with easy access to stores, the beach, restaurants, and cafes. I enjoyed the warmth of the staff, who were available to help at any time. The breakfast is delicious.

I wish the room was equipped with air conditioning.

Simple but adequate continental breakfast with a choice of breads, cereals, fruit, etc. No hassle with room keys as doors have codes. Lift is straight out of the reception breakfast area.

I cannot think of anything that would improve things really!

Loved hearing the sea from the bed. Enjoyed a drink on the top terrace before going out for dinner. We had to leave very early in the morning to catch a boat however as we were missing breakfast we got given a delicious picnic to take with us. All the little touches made it a very special stay for my partners birthday.

Our room had a view to the ocean, so it was great to sleep with the open balcony door and hear the ocean waves. Breakfast was great, there were many different options for vegetarians and everything was fresh. The atmosphere of the cafe is also really cozy. Staff is really friendly!

Everything was great.

Lovely friendly welcoming hotel that helped us store luggage when we went off walking in the mountains. Lovely breakfast and good location for the beach, city and port to catch the ferry. Would love to come back and stay again. Loved the small touch of the banana soap in the bathroom.

Alarms very sensitive. Went off twice during our stay.
