stayed at Destino for 4 nights. Everybody should be aware with whatever room type you book that Destino takes a €1,500 deposit as an extra block on your card on top of what is payable for your stay. We checked out a week ago and are still awaiting the deposit to be released back into my account. I called up Destino and have been told that this take 15 days which is ridiculous. The room itself is very small about 16sq meter and it was a problem for me and my husband to move around easily. The mini bar fridge is locked,so forget about storing any personal drinks or items in the fridge unless you specially request and pay for the use of the fridge. I never been any hotel in my life where you need to pay extra fee for using a fridge,shame for 5* hotel with the daily price what they are charging ….

Breakfast is overall very good. However, the staff are over enthusiastic in clearing the table during you chewing and this can sometimes be very annoying as you feel that they are constantly around you, The pool area is fantastic and really nicely set up. However, the alcohol and cocktails in general are overpriced. Gym is super small. Room is cleaned late afternoon only.

What can I say, the hotel was perfect. It’s a whole Vibe. Staff soooo amazing, from the moment I walked in to the time we left we felt welcome and well taken care of. I got an upgrade which I appreciated very much. The room was relaxing, insane view and lovely arriving on a little golf cart, true resort vibe. The breakfast buffet was beautifully presented and delicious. Nice treats in the room and must order the tacos at the pool. I extended my stay and ordered tacos again, didn’t even leave the hotel! Forget your plans, chilling here was just what I needed. Oh and great music by the pool. Definitely found a spot in Ibiza i’m sure to come back to.

Location was amazing

Some rooms look a little tired. Could have a refresh but it didn’t detract from our stay at all We did have to flag down staff initially around the pool for service the first two days which should not happen in a resort of this calibre. Once I brought it to their attention they did remedy it The food is fabulous. And we all know we all pay a premium at resorts like this for food and drink but it is beyond this. Everything is about 3 times the amount you would expect even over and above a normal rise in resort type costs

I cannot emphasize enough how much I would recommend this hotel! On my partner's birthday, they went above and beyond to make it a truly special day. The staff were incredibly attentive and exceptionally friendly. We received a heartfelt welcome, and if you're seeking a luxurious stay in Ibiza, this is the perfect place to choose. As someone who visits Ibiza annually, I can confidently say that we will be returning next year and enthusiastically recommending it to all our friends. I also want to give a big shout-out to gafnit for their outstanding customer service. They were absolutely amazing! We can't wait to see you again next summer

We had been at Destino back in 2016, and we had a great vacation too this summer. We specially like: 1) Swimming pool - Big swimming pool, with jacuzzi in another area, comfy daybeds, good bar & food service, you can book daybeds with view to the sea, music (great one all day long) 2) Breakfast - one of the strongest points, variety & quality of food 3) Location - I personally believe location is quite convenient to move around the island, not so far from the city, airport, marina... 4) Design & attrezzo - I love the lobby design, Pacha different installations in the garden/pool, design of rooms is curated (though they are small and some "rejuvenating" is needed in the wood materials) 5) Gardens & resort style - Its seems like you are in a private condo, with gardens (though gardens at some points need a bit of maintenance) 6) Service at restaurant and pool - I saw improvement from the last time I was there, regarding both professionality and time to serve. Professionals at Pacha have a "club" profile some times (welcoming, very energetic and resourceful), but I believe that to "elevate" the experience a mix with more paced yet efficient type of profiles could also help

Minor comments: 1) Rooms size, we did get a bigger room than the standard one, still little space in the bathroom (specially sink area) 2) Bed, I would appreciate a more firm one and the base/feet of bed should have a cover-up 3) Smell outside our room door was dreadful (probably some stagnated water of residual water point) 4) The resort has grown so much in activities & operations that there is a lot of "added" storage space all over the resort that does not enhance the beauty of the property 5) Parking exit had a great hole on the already steep ramp 6) Golf cars used to move around the resort activate a beep sound when going backwards that, as it trespasses rooms' walls/windows, it is a bit annoying

The staff were incredibly hospitable, warm and friendly which is by far the nicest feeling to arrive at your destination and be greeted with such graceful and professional lovely people. Loved the welcoming variety of infused fruit and cucumber fresh iced water :) The best thing in that kind of heat! Loved the facilities, swimming pool amazing, the night club and the food was phenomenal! Absolute delight and hope to be back soon!

The only snag was the waiters by the pools were quite understaffed and so ordering drinks and food would take forever and sometimes never actually receive your order :( :( But they were working very hard just not enough people on hand.

Superb lay out - perfect for lounging about the pool area , With friends , in a couple or family . Service was top notch . Management were lovley are cared . Room service was QUICK . The parties at night can be superb (and free). Food options superb . Location very good ! This is so much better than Ushuaia hotel or Ibiza grand ! Super place

Can be hard to walk around the property at night as it’s romantically lit up :)

Staff are excellent. Efficient and friendly. Standouts : Jorge and Paula by the pool; Constanza at reception. Pool service was superb as was the standard of food and drink. Comfy beds.

Rooms are a little dated Could really use a bin in the bedroom - not just the one in the toilet - and a full length mirror.

Beautiful location, groovy club vibes, very polite and helpful staff, very large pool area.

Having stayed here before, the room this time around was a bit of a disappointment. Very small. And had a moldy smell when we arrived. The shower was the width of a small alley. And the bathroom minute. We felt quite crammed. But ok for one night. Not sure it justifies the price (even with all the perks of free entry in clubs).
