Clean, location

Decor, a few pictures on the walls would make a huge difference, put a cheap fridge in the room, carpet the hall ways to brighten and soften them up. Provide some better toiletries instead of the smallest bar of soap in the world. Don’t charge for a room safe, it’s a basic necessity of travel.

Everything was fantastic! Amazing value for money, and thank you for the complimentary upgrade. The room was very spacious, quiet and nice view. Oh and the bed, so comfortable!! Delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Swimming pool of decent size and relaxing area. We loved the location, just in front of the sea.

It would be good to add a fridge in the room as especially in summer guests may want to keep food/beverages cool

The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is one of the best I've had because there is so much choice. I especially enjoyed the fried vegetables, as well as the usual fried breakfast selection. The beach is just across the road, and so too is the promenade along the beach. A very good selection of restaurants nearby, and even a Mercadona supermarket very near. My room, although overlooking a road at the back of the hotel, was very quiet. I left the windows open instead of using the airconditioning. The loudest disturbance was the screeching of parakeets in the palm trees nearby.

I enjoyed using the swimming pool, but it is small and has an odd shape, which means that even with only two people swimming lengths, there is a risk of hitting the wall of the steps inside the pool.

We had an excellent week at Hotel Tarik. The room with a terrace was traditional and nice. The breakfast buffet was very good and the location next to the beach was great. We will be back.

The lock on the terrace door was worn and malfunctioned several times; we were not able to lock properly, so we rolled down the wooden frames to stop potential break in. If they can not fix this, they should put in an extra lock. Some of the staff, who in all other situations were great, claimed that I did not lock the door the right way. If so, they should include a detailed instruction. Our experience was that it locked, but when you put pressure on the window frame, it unlocked. Hopefully this will be dealt with before our next stay at Hotel Tarik.

Gem of a hotel. Loved the location-quiet but close enough to life if you want it. Staff were all excellent and friendly. Rooms and premises were spotless and breakfast was lovely. Vibe around the pool was quiet and peaceful which we loved as a family of 4, I.e. would not recommend for young group wanting lively pool party atmosphere. Big thank you to the staff, we plan to book again for next year 🫰👏👌

Maybe more shade be made available, maybe in parts of the sun terrace or along the south end of the pool (along the cafeteria building) as the sun is relentless. Also would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in room, however maybe this explains the low pricing.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Lovely seafront walk either way and straight across to the beach. The Tarik is a comfortable, smaller hotel with an intimate friendly feel to it. Only three floors of rooms around a pool. Beautiful sun terrace with beds and although front line it is quiet compared to the larger hotels. The bar is situated at the front of the hotel with a canopyed sitting area at the side. The food served was very good and great choices. All the staff are friendly and the customer service is of a very high standard. We have stayed in larger hotels along the coast of Torremolinos, but would come back here to the Tarik. It may be rated 3star for it's facilities but it definitely rates higher due to customer service, standard and choice of food served at breakfast and in the bar and cleanliness!!

It's hard to find something we didn't like. We had asked for a double room but none available at the time we went, so had a twin. But really could not think of any negatives!

We stayed last year and this is the first time we have returned to the same hotel, so this should give an idea of how much we like the hotel. The staff are always friendly and they managed to upgrade us to a poolside room at a small extra cost. The room was really nice with a big bathroom. Location is another reason we re-booked the Tarik. The hotel is on the beach front but just away from the busy bars and shops. Another surprise was the work that had been carried out to the pool area since last year. There are new toilets and now stairs leading to a new roof sun terrace with showers, so you can relax and have views on the beach and sea. We always enjoy the breakfast and plenty of choice. Transfer by taxi 15-20 mins

When we had to go!

Lovely quieter hotel. Breakfast included, hot and cold offerings, various teas and coffees and pastries. Safe available to rent at €3 per day, with a refundable deposit of €10. Beach towels available at reception for €10 (refundable on return). Situated in prime location with restaurants and beach right across the road. Pubs and restaurants next door as well, as well as a supermarket within a few metres (there is also another bigger supermarket around the back of the hotel, if needed). Pool opens at 10am and leaving towels on sun beds to book them is NOT allowed. Smaller pool than the bigger hotels but sunbeds still available. If not available at pool level, there are more available at the next levels. Staff are lovely, and nothing is too much for them. We were checking out at 4am and they wanted to give us coffee and something to eat before we left.

Nothing at all, I'd return again and again.

It was so close to the beach and had a lovely atmosphere. Pleasant staff. Lovely rooms.

The pool are is small and sun beds are limited but we always managed to get enough for our family of 4 except on one occasion. The beach is across the road and sun beds are 6 euros for the day so no real issue to us.

It's best quality is it's staff, always friendly and will assist you in anything you need. Big thanks to Lola, Pepe and Patricia!! The hotel is spotless! Cleaned everyday. The bar area is very comfortable place to have a drink or something to eat. The restaurant attached is very good also, plus you get 10% discount as a guest :) Breakfast which was included had everything you would want, with helpful staff on hand to assist. There is lovely deck where you can sit which overlooks the beach, did get quite hot during the afternoon. The pool area is clean, with chatting Parakeets in the palm trees. The sun loungers are comfortable and the hotel provide big soft beach towels. The pool is tranquil with Jacuzzi jets on one side. I cant speak highly enough of Hotel Tarik and I would gladly return in the future.
