I loved the view and the pool. You could have both at the same time and it was very quiet which is very relaxing. Also the restaurant was amazing with good value for what you’re paying and excellent staff. It is (as we were there for a wedding) known for it’s wedding and has a cute separate location. Afterwards we jumped into the very comfortable beds.

The room has no proper mirror, no full length or a clear one. I missed that. The location is great but it is very secluded, so if you are more of a person that wants to explore the city, this is not the best location.

Beautiful building, both setting and gardens outside as well as the decor inside. Food and service in the restaurant were both really excellent, we had a fantastic meal which was great value for money. Staff at the reception were lovely and really helpful - both at time of check-in and in their communications before our arrival. Lovely swimming pool, great place to lounge and relax (and loved their honesty bar!).

We were a bit unlucky with our room (junior suite) as it was one of the few rooms that had a balcony too small to sit on. Most other rooms (including cheaper options) seemed to have a more usable terrace/balcony). Bathroom was a little tired.

The calm & peaceful location close to everything but yet away from the hustle & bustle. Wonderful friendly & helpful staff. Enjoyed the food & loved breakfast on the terrace & in particular the service provided by Paco in the bar/restaurant.

In a beautiful location in the hills behind Malaga. Beautiful scenery with view over the coast and Velez-Malaga. Great swimming pool with nice breeze in the afternoon. Honesty box bar with soft drinks. Rooms beautifully appointed in old Spanish style. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good range of food and drinks at breakfast. Lunch and dinner menus extensive. Large size portions & beautifully cooked. We have very much enjoyed our stay here. Exceptional hotel.

Lovely remote spot in the hills away from the hustle and bustle - brilliant views of the surrounding area. Very clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Good selection of breakfast options. A varied set of options for the lunch and dinner menu - some were better than others. It is worth combining your visit with going to restaurants in local areas such as Velez and Torrel Del Mar to get the full Spanish cuisine. It was also very useful to have access to the Activacar on site rather than a car rental.

Stayed at this hotel to attend my Son's wedding at the sister hotel La Vinuela. The hotel was absolutely fantastic located in the hills above Velez-Malaga amongst avocado orchards. Staff were polite, very tolerant and supportive of my attempts to speak Spanish and all spoke excellent English. The ambience was perfect with soft jazz playing in the background and a live pianist playing outside the restaurant in the evening. The food was first class, comprising local ingredients and presented in 5 star quality.

No negative comments about this wonderful hotel, Would happily stay here again.

The venue is breathtaking; we had our wedding here and it was loved by everyone. The views are phenomenal, if you’re happy to be away from the hustle and bustle of tourist spots - this is the place for you! The rooms are beautiful, with balconies and minimalist yet traditional decor. The linen and towels of very good standard and the toiletries in the bathroom very good. The food at the hotel is outstanding and very reasonably priced. We will be back for our anniversary.

The waitress at breakfast on Wednesday 22nd June was awful, very slow and forgetful. We had to repeat our breakfast order numerous times. I had a high volume of rooms booked, my final bill included all of my guests bills for food and drinks which was unnecessary as they had to pay for their extras. It was far too complicated and a poor checkout experience. I was also given my wedding contract on the day of the wedding, again completely unnecessary as I had completed contracts months in advance. I should not have been reading contracts on such a special day.

The staff were absolutely exceptional, nothing was a problem, very accommodating of young children. Beautiful building and grounds Nice pool area, nice restaurant Comfortable beds, rooms were very nice

Location is a little isolated - taxis expensive, ideally bring a hire car unless you only want to stay in the hotel to unwind

No air extraction in the bathroom Pool was dirty all three days we were there and looked like it hadn't been hoovered in a long time with floating sediment at the bottom. Our room only had a Juliette balcony which wouldn't acomodate a chair

Gorgeous, tranquil setting amidst mango and avocado plantations. We were afraid the pool area would be crowded, but it never was. We would love to be back one day.

The facilities are beautiful but some things could be newer: the shower holder was broken and some buttons on the safe did not work properly. But overall, it did not affect our comfort much.
