Deceptive location but perfect for exploring this historic town. The castle overlooks the hotel. Our host was extremely friendly with perfect English and she advised us on places to eat etc. We were just passing through and knew nothing about Xativa beforehand. It really is worth a visit. The vibe in the Plaza on a Friday evening with so many young people and families was fantastic. We hope to visit again with more time.

We were fortunate to find a parking place outside the Maga Rooms but the alternative is a steep walk up the hill.

We had the suite so was really really good. Very clean, the amenities, close to the castle and to the center. Friendly and helpful staff.

Had to pay 10 euro for the dog. Wasn't specified the amount you have to pay until after booking the place. If you want to bath you have to put down all the curtains cause literally everyone can see you.

The location was very good, within easy walking distance from the castle and the town centre. Breakfast was also very good, especially considering the very reasonable price of the accommodation, served by very friendly staff. The rooom was very clean and everything necessary for a short stay was available, and tea and coffee making facilities were available.

We had one of the very basic rooms, which was a bit bare, with a concrete floor and walls with no rugs etc. It was a bit dark, and smelled a bit musty when we entered. On a hot summer day though, I expect it would be pleasantly cool! The bathroom only separated by a wall but no door took a bit of getting used to.

Clean, comfortable and well appointed, very helpful owner who speaks excellent English. Easy parking opposite. Short walk down into lovely town centre with lots of places for eating.

Nothing about property but quite steep, narrow cobbled streets to get to property could be a challenge in a large car (ok once there).

the place is beautifully renovated and set up, a pleasant 5-to-10 minute walk from plaça del mercat and plaça de la Seu, about 15 minute downwalk to the station and just exactly at the foot of the way to the castle!

only concern about this particular room is the stairs to the mezzanine bed and shower could be tricky for/with small children. everything else was just great!

Quirkiness. The location. The town itself. Chilled water in reception. The staff. Stopping enroute to the castle.

Finding the place, Google maps struggled. The hill to the hotel got steeper the later you arrived back. No where to sit other than the bed or the steps.

I loved the location of the hotel, amazing for hikes, and only 15-20 minutes walk from the town. The owner was very friendly, we chatted about our common experiences of traveling. The breakfast was also very good. All in all it added to the amazing experience in Xàtiva.

Comfortable, spacious and reasonably clean with a kettle and cups for making tea/coffee. a shortish walk into the town centre. Good breakfast.

Breakfast was a bit later than the already rather late start time and the lady serving it was initially rather unfriendly. In the end it was quite good though and the lady got more friendly. Not the fault of the accommodation but much of the town is shut on Sunday night.

Wonderful place: clean, minimalist and very comfortable room, just on the side of castle. Very nice and helpful stuff. for parking place you need to pay extra but just in the corner you can find free parking. I definitely recommend this place

absolutely everything was good

This place feels more like a Mediterranean home than a typical hotel. Rooms are situated in the old stone house. And the breakfast was served around the corner, in a big open kitchen, with homemade jams, and the lady pressed orange juice, cooked coffee and cooked omelette just in front of us. It was like visiting a friend in a Mediterranean :) Very unique and friendly experience.
