Nice hotel in a unique scenery with lots of history to it. Green grounds with a cute pool area, and very interesting visit to the on-site Aljibe. Parking was easy and always had room. The design of the room was nice with an enjoyable garden.

Quite noisy dispite the thick doors. Could hear people, water being used and restaurant/bar noises. Breakfast was excellent the first day, the second day the service fell a bit short and the coffee from the machine was terrible. They should have someone making better quality coffee from a proper coffee machine. Some cleaning of the outside tables and gardens should be done to make it even more enjoyable.

I booked this hotel based on it being closer to the castle than staying in the old town. What an excellent decision, the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, set in huge gardens with the most number of citrus trees I've ever seen! I paid extra for a room with a view, we had Room 1 which had a large balcony looking up to the castle with a table and chairs, just lovely. The room itself was spacious, had a separate lounge area with 2 enormous comfortable chairs, so it was nice to be able to sit somewhere other than just the bed. The shower had a rain head and there was plenty of space on the vanity. Room had a small fridge, cupboard and desk area. The bed was comfortable with nice linen and pillows. Breakfast was in a separate outdoor room and was a lovely spread, freshly cooked eggs and a nice selection of pastries, cereal, bread as well as fresh juice and good coffee. Pool area was clean and there is access to a part of the castle walls which form a boundary of the hotel. There is also a large cistern underground, ask at reception and they will organise a tour for you. Thanks so much for a lovely stay! Would highly recommend.

It's a shame not many people visit Xativa as it's the most gorgeous town with an amazing castle!

The meals were fantastic, I tried different dishes during my stay. A minor hiccup with one of the desert! The waiter compensated for it and return with a different dish. Excellent fine dining!

The kettle and tea service in the room was indifferent. Not quit sure if the chambers maids understand the process. We asked twice for the service and actually went to reception for the service as the phone wasn’t working and it’s appearance old , much to large for the space . It wasn’t even connected. We just left it on the floor under the work surface.

It was incredible! The surroundings were beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and had a very natural style about them; the balcony was lovely. The staff were friendly, polite and super helpful.

I honestly don’t have anything to write here!! Although to have refreshments around the pool would have made the cherry on the top!

The gardens were beautiful. The room was cool and well designed . The pool was a bit small as several families were staying but it was Aug . We laid on the grass . The history of Xativa was very interesting and the castle very close by to walk . We loved the restaurant at night the setting was romantic and the choice of food very good and they had local specialities . The breakfasts were excellent .Even in the very hot weather the rooms were very cool and quiet for siestas .A lovely trip

In the mornings the cleaners were loud outside our room where their store was . This was a shame as the started work early and you could hear all their phone calls . It only took 2 families with children to fill the pool area and seating .

Quiet location - halfway between town and castle. The grounds of the hotel were attractive. The evening meal was very good.

There is nowhere at the hotel or nearby to get a drink or food if you arrive mid to late afternoon and there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Wanting a drink after a long drive seems reasonable but wasn't possible. (We walked up to the castle which took 15-20 minutes and managed to buy a drink and get an ice cream there.)

The restaurant was dreadfully understaffed so we were left without dinner the night we arrived, as the hotel was not accepting walk ins (despite being virtually empty) and most restaurants in town were closed that day of the week. A huge disappointment. It would have been nice if the hotel had offered to make us a sandwich or even a morsel of “pan con tomate” !!!

The setting of this hotel is amazing. Views of the town (down hill) and the castle (uphill) were beautiful. The hotel grounds were also beautiful. The staff were eager to help. You have to walk to get to anything (i.e. town and castle) but the routes are scenic. We loved it.

It wasn't a huge deal for us but the rooms could use a little updating.

The property is set in beautiful gardens that are so peaceful. The staff were really friendly and efficient and not at all pretentious. The room was really large with an enormous balcony / terrace which feels very private. Very comfortable beds. Already planning on going back!

Not enough sun loungers by the pool for the amount of guests. They should really be upgraded too as they are just the basic plastic ones which don't fit with how lovely everything else is in the hotel.

Just a one night stay and opted for a superior room with breakfast and evening dinner. Everything was exceptional, very quiet, comfortable and the most amazing five star evening dinner. One slight negative there was no kettle in the room a strange thing to omit I feel. Top class hotel.
