Clean, stylish and spacious room. Many great places to eat in 10 minutes walk

There is no fridge in the room. Wet air in the room, mold on walls and ceiling

All aspects of the stay were very good. Silent spacious well organised room with wooden furniture, that is well kept and clean. Spacious washroom with hotwater facility and quality toiletries. Flat TV that could be connected to my computer and a perfect work table & chair, were my most appreciated parts, as I worked most of the time in the room. Nice location in premium part of Colombo, with a good number of hotels and central square in 10 minutes walking distance. The team is very cordial and prompt in their service, very welcoming. Overall, a very nice stay close to the central offices.

Wifi is not stable, and loses connectivity often. This may be improved.

This place was great! -Large spacious room -very comfortable bed -good shower pressure and hot water -wifi works perfectly -location is great. Away from all the loud traffic so it's nice and quiet but also easy to get a tuktuk -staff are very helpful and friendly. Gave us early check in and late check out -they also run the restaurant downstairs (grillo's) -highly recommended, and I've already booked another stay for my return to colombo

If i'm being really fussy, the shower could do with a handheld shower head

Lovely helpful staff. Comfortable spacious room. Clean, tidy, what you need. Late check in arrangements worked fine, with reception closed but security guard on door expecting us and with key ready. Staff went out of way to provide an early breakfast on our last day and to assist with other little things.

Staff spoken English was a bit poor, we struggled to make ourselves understood on a couple of occasions. Written English is clearly excellent - and we messaged through app when explaining we needed an early breakfast.

The moment I stepped into Fern Guesthouse, I know that I'll like it there. The staff was super helpful and efficient, the location ideal, in a quiet and safe area with plenty of good restaurants in the neighbourhood and an inhouse one with excellent Mexican food. Its rustic lobby/restaurant with its high ceiling and plenty of greenery is pleasing to the eye, easy jazz as a background music is a good choice. Not only will I return whenever I must visit Colombo, I also highly recommend this place for any visitor. Some embassies are in close proximity.

Central location, with a lot of cafés and restaurants a short walk away. There is a restaurant, Grillos, onsite too. Rooms are spacious and well laid out. Comfortable beds. Good AC. Super water pressure. Tea/coffee station. Cable TV.

Street parking- this is not a big issue but could be a problem if more guests came in their vehicles. The rooms are being refurbished, so hopefully a mini fridge, small wardrobe and iron will be included (especially if guests stay for a longer period).

Room was large and bathroom was a good size. We booked with two double beds and there was ample space in the room. Shower was amazing. Very hot water and great pressure. Area was OK but need to walk to get to some shops. We arrived at 02:00 in the morning and there was someone to meet us.

Restaurant on ground floor so sometimes that area is out of action for the hotel. No breakfast options but it was fine because there are so many food options.

Very nicely situated in the cinnamon garden area and with good options to eat/shop groceries/breakfast, fern was our first stop in Sri Lanka. It was very good to arrive here in a quieter and chiller area to explore Colombo. The room is very spacious and the bed comfy and big. Can recommend!

Service was not noticeable, the house is quite thin-walled and the bath smelled a bit musty. But nothing too bad really.

The rooms were very nice and tidy as expected. The location was very good, right in the heart of Colombo 7 which made getting around Colombo very easy and convenient.

When we went to pay, the amount the staff were asking was a lot higher than the price that was shown on booking.com when we booked. We were quoted $160 when we booked, but when we paid at property, they asked for $200.

Modern small hotel with great interior. Ambiance was great. Large rooms. Great lighting. Totally worth for the money.

Cleanliness - bedsheets arent clean and new. Staines were there. Parking - no secure parking. Should park at open road. bathroom- window doesn't have a cover and inside is visible to closeby building (1st floor, 3rd room).
