We stayed here on our first night in Colombo. as an extended family of 4 adults and 5 children, we opted for two three bedroom apartments. The apartments were absolutely huge! As we were exhausted from a long flight and no sleep, we didn’t venture far from the hotel. We didn’t need to. The pool area was fantastic with a small park for the children, and we were able to have lunch by the poolside whilst they all played. Food was very tasty with huge portions (we managed to over order so it’s worth ordering one meal for two children to share. Incredibly comfy beds too. Would definitely recommend.

Would’ve liked some half portions/kids portions on the menu. But to be fair, we didn’t think to ask at the time.

Everything.... Service from the staff (all the staff were great); The room was spacious & clean; There was daily 'housekeeping'; The Breakfast & Dinner buffets at the FLOW were just out of this world; The gym was good, sufficient for a person on holiday; The location of the hotel was good, - there is a nice bakery in few meters from the hotel. The view, we got a nice view including one with the lotus tower. We did not do any cooking in the room, but the kitchen did have everything required to cook.

If I had to pick an issue then I would say, I would have wanted to have a microwave in the room. The apartment felt bit dated, but it was not a concern for our family, as the room was very spacious & clean.

Fabulous room and facilities, even though some areas are a bit dated (e.g. lobby). AMAZING staff - thoughtful and putting the guests first. The restaurant, FLOW, is stellar and all the staff, including the manager, were incredible.

The only thing that could have been better is attention to the pool area. There was only one gentleman serving everyone (and he was really trying his best) but plates were not being cleared up on time, attracting a large flock of crows which makes poolside dining virtually impossible.

Reception was very friendly and we were provided with 2 key cards for us to be able to easily get in an out of the apartment. You get a really good sense of security and support from the moment you step into the building. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms are cozy, with comfortable beds and ample storage space. The kitchen is well equipped and the room service is top quality. The living area is tastefully decorated and furnished, making it the perfect place to unwind. Staff are extremely friendly - the customer service in general is exceptional at the Colombo Hilton Residencies! We really enjoyed our stay here!

You can clearly see there is a massive effort to renovate and establish an exceptional customer service from the moment you walk into the Colombo Hilton Residencies (previously the JAIC Hilton). The one thing I would recommend also needs renovating (if not already in the process) is the lobby areas of the floor areas of the apartment (not the Reception lobby area which is modern and great). These areas are hot and not air conditioned, so when you're waiting for your lift for example, it can be quite hot an sweaty (which is an absolute contrast to the overall apatments which are conditioned throughout).

We booked a 2 bed room and then a 3 bed apartment. the apartment was great and immaculate in terms of cleanliness. The house keeping was also very good for the apartment. The staff in the restaurant and bar were exceptional very friendly and accommodating. Complimentary water topped up every day. £16 per person for buffet dinner.

Front of house and security is excessive. There was a party in the room in front of us with loud music blaring but we got told we were not allowed a simple mini speaker and was told to leave it in our car. you need to go through metal detectors and you need to put every bag through a bag check whenever you enter. it was too much and unnecessary. House keeping did a sloppy job with the 2 bed room that we had.

Apartment Beds Aircon Security procedure and how they check vehicles for explosives and scan people and bags. Like the card security steps from lobby all the way to the apartments 👍 Good young lifeguard at the pool, looking for kiddies, like that, he had a good attitude ( 20/7/23 ) AED on site 👌

Breakfast bad and slowly !! Lunch very bad - we use Hilton all over the world before, this was critical bad! My family went for KFC after! We couldn’t sleep before 4 am because off a disco club 17 store’s down over the road, playing techno music !!!

The staff are very friendly and attentive. The buffet dinner was excellent. You have variety of choice even you’re a picky eater.

The hotel rooms are outdated. We stayed there 25 years ago and still the same until this day. It needs a good refurbishment and upgrading.

The best Hilton hotel and staff I have ever stayed at. The best services you can get on daily basis. Friendly, smiling and supportive staff. The easiest checkin and checkout process. Everyday texting me to make sure everything we need in the hotel is available and even for other info about the attractions and where to eat they were supporting.

The hotel was in an excellent location and the view was AMAZING! We could see the Lotus Tower from the balcony and that was especially beautiful during the night! The staff and their level of service was exceptional! All our requests were carefully carried out and we felt so happy staying there. We felt at home! Will definitely return! Was a great find & excellent value for money

Cleanliness of beds and tables, politeness and availability of the staff, vegetarian food options for lunch and dinner, location. Bathrooms and beds were nice, wifi and TV were good.

The flooring was a bit old and stained. Utensils to cook were stained with very thin layers of oil which wouldn't go away after repeated cleaning- couldn't be used to boil milk. Breakfast buffet and breakfast a la carte were expensive.
