Araliya Green Hills Hotel

From start to finish we had a lovely time. I honestly can't emphasis how nice the staff are in this hotel. At arrival they checked us in, while we sat and got tea .our driver was provided with accommodation, they also showed great respect to our driver by offering him tea also. The breakfast buffet was lovely, we had the dinner buffet one of the nights also which was really good, only problem is there is too much food to try. We had our 4 month old baby with us and it was his first time in a pool here, the man who works in the pool couldn't be any nicer helping us and making our baby laugh and comfortable. The wait staff Mohan(so helpful), Vino ( who knew about Ireland and Irish dancing) Malhy, vill, Marshall and Mr Netto who were helpful and even held our baby while we eat. The lovely young man who checked us in and took family photos of us( you can see him in the photos) who's name I've forgotten thanks so much for being really nice to us and making the check in and out process so easy. We were here at Christmas the decorations were amazing and I loved the Christmas music playing in the bedroom was such a nice treat

The staff here are incredible. We were overwhelmed at the highest level of service we received. They had a genuine desire to take care of us and make our stay the best it could be. They went out of their way to accommodate the needs of our group. They also took great care to make a special setting for the birthday dinner of a group member. We thank all the staff who took care of us, but in particular we would like to thank Mr Netto Chathuri Sanath Madura Sadeepa Sanjit in the gym We are sorry if there are any names we have forgotten.

Excellent location, adjoining the Grand Hotel and very close to Nuwara Eliya town. Friendly and accommodating staff. Lodging is available for drivers and free parking for vehicles. The breakfast buffet (included in cost) is exceptional.

A la carte service in other restaurants at the hotel is spotty. Probably a function of low occupancy. You need to inform them in advance of your intention to eat there.

The staff was amazing , from reception to the room service. There was an awesome person at the Restaurant, Krishna 😇😇😇😇He was very helpful and take care of all the guests and try his level best to full fill the needs of the guests. I would say he’s an awesome person.

Nothing that I dislike But the fish curry was not that good and the choices of food items are less. Almost similar everyday. If you can improve that then it’s better😊

Well positioned hotel. A good choice of food at breakfast and dinner, a very large buffet with cold and hot options. The gym staff member was so incredibly kind towards us and our fellow traveller who had additional needs.

The music at dinner each night was far too noisy for us to hold a conversation over.

Breakfast was much more than expected, We really enjoyed homely atmosphere. We never expected that type of staff commitment taking care of our safety .Initially we were little carful and concern over the safety during the pandemic but They did their best to keep us occupied and would like to recommend any one ,don't worry bout your health safety as they care of it. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Nothing to complain. other than the bad weather and COVID 19 which is beyond their control. But we did not feel uncomfortable as they have lot of choices and use their city mall and food court to taste something different.

Hotel facilities are up to top knot. Especially food were presented with broad verities of different cuisines and tastes. Temperature controlled swimming pool is great value add for the stay.

I would suggest to have another FOH lift facility since hotel is having few wings but only two lifts at the center of the building.

The facility was excellent. The service rendered by Mr. VIDHUSHAN , MADHU and Chef Antony 👨‍🍳 was commendable. If have to visit, I will visit again for these people who were amazing and they went beyond and served us during our stay. Very memorable stay !!!

This was a lovely hotel, a short walk from the centre. The staff were very friendly and accommodating

Lack of food choice. We were advised that the restaurants were only serving indian buffet food for dinner, which didn't appeal to us, and there was little choice outside.

The breakfast was first class (though nearly every Sri Lankan breakfast was really good); great choice of full English, fruit juices, fresh fruit (mango papaya etc), pastries and coffee. This was excellent.

There were no shortcomings in this venue.
