The house is located on top of a hill with amazing views to the city and valley. Much better than staying in Nuwara Eliya which is a worn down, noisy and otherwise uninteresting city besides Victoria Gardens and The Grand Hotel and some garden walks on the hillsides. A morning tub shower is amazing, and we enjoyed staying there with our small daughter as the neighbor has a kid friendly kitten passing by the well trimmed garden - also with an astonishing view. We can recommend the Hattie Hill hike and the hill cities. From here you can’t hear the main roads traffic noise and the gardens is full of flowers on the mountain. Also, the main road north of property leads to the valley towards Kandy, only 10 min walk and you will find much nice nature and tea fields and walks than those on the Nuwara Elyia valley. Try it out. Enjoyed the stay and can recommend the in-house driver Indo and his modern family size van for excursions and transport. Thankso

Just a peanut thing and note. The shower hose was leaking a bit which is a pity as it may damage the wood finishing. A quick fix if not already fixed.

So nice to have so much space and stay in a ‘homelike’ accommodation. There is so much room and great to able to relax on the lounge. I think this was the most comfortable bed, and definitely the best hot shower we had in Sri Lanka. Nilla ( great host) was so helpful. He helped us order takeaway - was great to have a night ‘in’. The kitchen has everything you need including a full size fridge - perfect for Keeping left overs. If you do feel like cooking - don’t buy vegetables at a supermarket - you will find the freshest looking veggies at the road side stalls about 50m from the accom. Breakfast is served to your villa and is a good start to the day. Nilla also took us for a short walk through the nearby tea plantations.

We didn’t have anything to complain about

Very friendly and helpful host. Helped with bags, presented tea and a souvenir. The first day Sri Lankan breakfast was served (rice with curry, toast with jam), when the owner noticed that we did not eat rice for breakfast, offered to cook an omelette and pancakes for us the next day, it was very nice. Our part of the house had an incredible view of the town. The apartment was very clean, comfortable bed, everything is super!

from the photo we expected that we would live in a separate house, but it turned out that this is a large house, divided into several identical apartments. However, we still felt isolated. the wifi was bad. there was no teapot in the kitchen, we could not enjoy the tea purchased at the factory.

Host was super friendly and welcoming. Told us lots about the area and gifted us a box of local tea. Beds were the comfiest of our whole trip to Sri Lanka. The bath is huge and had a great view. It’s a bit far away from the township and was quite rainy during our stay so the host helped us order the only thing that would deliver - pizza hut. But it was actually really tasty and fun to try the Sri Lankan pizza variations. Breakfast was also very generous and tasty.

No, but just note to travellers that it is a little further from the township than expected and because it rains so much in this area you would likely need to drive to the township for meals/exploring.

It was more like an airbnb but with good breakfast and a very pretty and well maintained garden to relax in. The guy hosting us was quite good too, I forget his name now.

If you are driving yourself, the entrance to the place is a bit steep. We luckily had a 4x4 and was easy to climb up but would have struggled otherwise.

The location is overlooking the main road and tea farm and approximately 10-15 mins from the main city. Tuk Tuk is available and the staff can help with it. This is an early morning place and sleep in by 8 pm as things start closing. The kitchen is really good and you can cook your meals easily. They have 2 king size beds with a heater available. Washroom is spacious and the garden area is very nice.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon trip and it was absolutely beautiful. The villas themselves are stunning, very clean and the views are incredible. The owner is very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The breakfast every day was delicious and having it on our own with the beautiful views made it even more enjoyable!

Nothing, it was perfect!

Superb facilities, great views and very helpful staff. Nalin was great at helping us when we ran into an issue and guiding us on the best way to savor the Nuyara Eliya experience.

The path to the parking space is quite rough and at a steep incline. We could navigate it well during daylight but we found taking out the car after dark too risky given the path, the incline and lack of proper lighting on the path.

The manager and the staff are such lovely people. The view from the villa is great. The best experience of Nuwara Eliya actually was this place and India summer restaurant which is like 5 mins drive away.

I'd recommend having a heater on the ground floor as well. It would add a lot more comfort to the experience.
