Trinco blu is a wonderful hotel, which is located in a quiet, peaceful place. The hotel monitors the cleanliness of the beach, the beach is cleaned every day! The entrance to the sea is very comfortable, smooth, there are no stones anywhere. The sea is always calm, without waves. The hotel staff deserves the highest praise: very caring, in a hurry to fulfill your every whim. Very sincere and friendly. The food is very tasty and varied, there are both local and European dishes. Breakfast includes a lot of fresh fruit. Get ready to put on a few kilos, everything is so delicious! ))) The room is very spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable. There are all necessary bath amenities, including a bathrobe and slippers. The room has a spacious terrace where it is very pleasant to drink tea overlooking the sea and palm trees.

This complex although a pricey choice for Trincomalee, it has everything you'd need to have a relaxing time. The room was lovely and opened up onto a beach and hotel staff make sure it's clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet is amazing, has options for local and western foods. Staff are very caring, helpful and friendly. When we were not happy about ordering room service dinner that was brought to us cold, but they brought us a replacement dinner free of charge and we're very understanding about it.

The prices are quite steep but this is probably the best complex in the area.

Our stay at Trinco Blu can only be summed up by the word ‘incredible’. From the friendliness and accommodating nature of the employees to the facilities and access to the beautiful beaches - our experience was second to none. Having arrived injured, the team were quick to rearrange our room for easier access, and their care and help left nothing wanting. Special thanks to Ravi. Our son enjoyed swimming endless laps in the pool, and the outdoor area was always spotless. Breakfasts were a delight, and we were always met with a smile by the team, especially Jacintha on the hopper station.

Our beach chalet was amazingly spacious, with a large balcony and bathroom. We loved that the shower was open to the elements, but somehow kept unwanted wildlife out. The location, just steps from the stunning beach, was idyllic. The pool was large, shallow, and looked out to sea; perfect for relaxing in.

We found that the service in the main restaurant was lacking, compared to the wonderful, friendly service we had experienced at our other hotels. Perhaps we were unlucky, but just a smile of acknowledgement would have made all the difference as we waited for our order to be taken.

Excellent location of the Chalet, right on the private beach. Decent sized room with a sit out and views to die for. The pool was nice, a humongous spread in both the breakfast and dinner buffet with live counters, attentive waiters ( Maheshwaran and Janaka were very very helpful), South Indian live counter was manned by an excellent chef Jessintha. Great staff, friendly service and wonderful ambience Definitely a place to chill out, on the Uppuveli beach, which in itself was a lovely place Would highly recommend this hotel

Everything was good

It was nice. The room and toilet looked sanitary. The view was a breathtaking experience and there is delicious food in the buffet. Everyone was very welcoming and as we sat down to wait for our check-in, they gave us refreshing towels and drinks due to the hot weather. I would highly recommend this place. Their customer service was outstanding and all the staff were very friendly and we surely had a spectacular time. This is a very family-friendly place my kids loved it.

There are no lifts. When we ate our breakfast lunch and dinner there wasn't much of a choice. Apart from the pool, there is nothing else for kids to play.

The food was amazing - particularly given the difficult economic circumstances. People work really hard. The beach was nice and the sunrise is fabulous. A few minutes away you have the Nilaveli Beach which is superb. We had a great time staying in this facility and moving around to other beaches and the Pigeon Island snorkelling that my family loved.

We had a youngster who needed to be fed early. Dinners are served at 7:30pm and was quite late. The A la carte menu is limited value for many and there is no kids menu. That is something Sri Lanka hotel industry can consider improving to better serve families from overseas.

Massages were bliss but 200usd for 2hours of massage is too expensive for Sri Lanka Over priced food at the Crab Lack of management presence at the hotel Therefore there is a bit of “computer says no” from the staff Presence of dogs is a bit irritating but they were not aggressive and there are far more dogs outside the resort

The staff were extremely hospitable. Specially the staff at the restaurant. Buddika and his team ( Siva, Mahesh, Niroshan etc) were always checking on us, providing all our needs and making sure we were well taken care of. On top.of that the food was excellent as well. There was a great variety of Sri Lankan cuisine every breakfast and dinner. Loved it

It rained a lot. So need to ensure I go there on the correct season next time

beautiful hotel with direct access to amazing beach with white sand and turquoise water. everything is clean, well organised and the staff is super friendly and helpful. we got a beautiful room with a beach view. the room was spacious, nicely decorated and had all needed facilities. the pool was a nice place to rest by, big enough to swim, always clean and well maintained. even though it’s a big hotel it has it’s unique style. breakfast was amazing with variety of Asian and western food. totally recommend.
