Outpost is a hotel with a great vibe, full of young people mainly surfing dudes. Despite being pensioners we never felt out of place, staff were very welcoming and food and drink facilities were excellent. Outpost is yards from the beach, really convenient and it is easy to get a Tuk Tuk to other places e.g. along to Marriott restaurants for dinner.

My only slight disappointment was the sea view from my room as I was at the side of the hotel rather than front so we overlooked waste ground but could partially wee the sea.

Overall a great place to stay and work remotely. Good quality Wi-Fi (and a generator in case of power outages), food is awesome and made by a chef, nice swimming pool to relax between work hours, a terrace with a great view of the ocean and a bar. The best was the staff that is super welcoming, friendly and always available to help you out. Mahesh and Prasad were absolute gems. Thanks guys :D

Even if you stay there, you still have to pay for the fast internet. However, its much cheaper when compared with what someone from the outside would have to pay. It is expensive... but you get great value for what you pay. We ate out of Welligama Outpost a couple of times to balance our budget.

Great light and tastefully decorated rooms. Pool area great although limited lounger space. Some food was fantastic (coconut pancakes) but eggs were a big miss.

All round pretty good. Didn’t love the hard sell of their activities and roof top bar but some would enjoy the ‘community’ aspect. Very focused on remote working clients who tend to dominate the restaurant with their video calls.

the property was very clean and tidy good ambience and very close to the beach. the washroom was very spacious and clean. the food was tasty and had value for what you pay.

Could have include a breakfast inclusive rate and if the rate could come down a bit it would have been extraordinary. they could have placed coffee amenities as they have already placed a kettle and water in the room.

amazing place if you need a base to work. the hotel is made for it, wifi is good there are plugs everywhere, coffee, food! 👏 rooms are big, confortable and clean. and there is hot water for the shower !!

The hotel is a bit far from Weligama, if you want to walk. Also I took a sea view room but couldn’t see the sea from my room.

compared to other coliving places in Weligama, Outpost was a bit expensive. We booked a room with balcony but the views were not to the beach, views were to the parking

Everything is great. The faculties are top notch and the coworking spaces have everything they need!

It’s pretty expensive for the area, even for a room without a window. For that price breakfast included would at least be nice. Worth the price though.

I loved absolutely everything about this property. The staff, location, food and hospitality were outstanding. I would recommend the outpost to anyone. The staff were extremely accommodating as we booked last minute. thank you for making our stay the best in Sri Lanka.

Expensive restaurant prices, no communal kitchen, few community team building events

The staff was very polite and hospitable. The food and drinks are perfect. Managers and supervisors are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again.

I think, the wi-fi could be free. It's not that expensive but it's really odd to pay for wi-fi in hotel.
