The hotel was perfect. I especially enjoyed the location. Set back from the road so that there was no noise, next to a forest, where you could walk and the lake was about 200m away walking through the forest. Nearby was an Italian restaurant, a little pricey, but I ate there twice, the pasta was among the best Italian I've ever had. The town itself is delightful.

Good location close to the lake for a pleasant walk and E18 driving. Large room. Good selection of bread with toppings and yoghurt and cereals for breakfast.

The TV in the room did not have many channels or options like a Smart TV. Sound travelled well between the rooms so a bit of soundproofing would help. For the breakfast, there were no warm food options.

For something in this price range, that is also not part of a bigger chain, I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast buffé! Nothing fancy - but all you need for a continental/nordic-kind of breakfast (nothing warm - but regular coffee, bread, yogurt, serials, cheese, ham, etc).

The fire alarm was set off late evening - fire truck arrived 5 minutes later. Guess it was someone thinking they could lit a cigarette in their room or something...

Comfortable bed, clean bedshits. Spacy room. Quit place. Clean room. They clean it every day. God breakfast, warm bread. Nice view outside to the lake.

One of the towels had stains on it. Adesive band on the electrical switch. Had warm water in the shower but couldn't make it hoter. There was no dryer in the room which was supposed to be - but you get it if you ask from the reception. The eggs to breakfast were fridge cold. If you don't have a car they might be a problem since its quit a distance to city center.

I was positively surprised by the size of the room. It even had a little balcony and a fridge I didn't expect to find. Good value for money. Convenient parking as well as check-in/check-out procedure. The bed was on the rather hard side, which I prefer.

It was a little bit cold at night. But I didn't invest much effort in finding out how to make it warmer, so that might be on me.

This is a superb hotel. They will pick you up at the station on arrival and take you back on departure. Nice very quiet location. Very friendly welcome, staff friendly and will gladly help you with any problems. Very good breakfast, tea or coffee always available. Bus 61 (daytimes) stops outside the hotel.

Very comfortable and nice hotel. Not so far from the lake, so you can have a lovely walk. Our family room was absolutely spotless, very clean, very comfortable beds. The reception staff was very helpful and nice.

Great clean fresh rooms, good breakfast, great staff and I will for sure return.

It would have been nice to be able to have a beer or a glass of wine in the evening but I'm well aware of the tight Swedish alcohol laws :)

It is a good bit out on town (on foot) but we liked this, lovely walks thru woods and close to lake for swimming. There was also a small kitchen but no pots to cook with!

Bathroom was a little worn/dirty

Everything was perfect. The owner is super nice, she gave me all the explanation I needed for my stay in her hotel and finding the nice things to do around and even lend me a blanket for personal use overnight. The parking is just in front of the hotel. The location is super calm and I even had a view on the lake. The hotel is made in a way that you feel home as there is a lot of small common room that are really cute. I could only warmly recommend this hotel and know where I would stay if I ever go back to Kristinehamn. Thanks for your hospitality and well done for your hotel its a fantastic job you did there!!
