LOCATION: We made the transfer from the airport to the hotel in Malmö and back to the airport by bus that was waiting for us in front of the exit/entrance to the airport itself and literally across the street (20m) from the hotel. It is his first and last stop, the company https://www.flygbussarna.se/en/. I suggest that you download the application to your mobile phone before the trip. Furthermore, 150 m from the hotel is the Central train station, which you will surely use comfortably if you want to travel around Malmö, Lund, Copenhagen or further in the territory of Sweden. I suggest that you download the Skånetrafiken mobile phone application before the trip. https://apps.apple.com/tr/app/sk%C3%A5netrafiken/id1180539331 Take care of your cell phone's battery, because you need the applications you use. The hotel is located in the very center, surrounded by squares, a pedestrian zone with cafes, restaurants, shops... In addition to everything mentioned about the location of the hotel, I have almost never experienced such a synergistic position of (city) transport, free walking, restaurants, the city center, parks. The walk to the Turning Torso skyscraper (about 30 minutes) goes mostly along the coastal promenade, and it will surely be a great memory for you. ROOM: Honestly, better than expected, size about 25m2. We had everything we needed, enough space for luggage, clothes, shoes, enough sockets for devices (notebook, chargers...). And most importantly, our room was in a quiet area. We asked for and got a kingsize bed. The cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, we asked the cleaning staff what we needed, they respected our wishes for new towels. BREAKFAST: a large number of varied foods and pastries, drinks, fresh fruit, all fresh and well prepared. Anyone looking for more than this would have to pay a much, much higher price in a higher category hotel. Several additional breakfast halls were also.

What could have been better? TOILET: I believe that classic bathtubs belong to history. Shower cabins and walk-in cabins are today's standards. The bathtub, which is not up to the floor, already stands on its legs, the interior of the bathtub is slippery and dangerous because there is no non-slippery rubber carpet, the silicone that was no longer around the edge of the bathtub let water leak onto the bathroom floor. BREAKFAST: we only missed one thing every morning and we asked for it and got it - warm milk. I believe that many people need it, and if it is not served, it will only burden the staff, who are already quite busy during breakfast. I made sure of that.

The location of Elite Savoy is very convenient. It's literally across the street from the bus stop (We took a bus from the airport). The train station is across the street too. Additionally, the hotel is practically located in the main tourist part of Malmo. We walked to the Old Town every day and explored the shops and restaurants. It's also very close to Kungsparken (a nice park with a pond, picturesque windmill, and flower gardens). The Food Museum (with weird foods from around the globe) is also within walking distance. We loved the buffet breakfast at Elite Savoy. There was a nice selection of foods including fruit, cheese, veggies, eggs, sausages, and pastries. The staff were super friendly and always greeted us with a smile.

I wish there was a nicer view from the window. Lots of buildings blocked the view, but at least you can still see the sky.

Great location right across the central train station, and the center of town around the corner. It's an interesting old building. The staff was excellent. We were given a double room without a desk. We went down to ask for a change, explaining that my wife had to work one day. Immediately we were given a new room, no questions asked, without any fuss. Breakfast was good, could maybe do with a bit more variety, but overall not bad.

The building is old, probably historic, and the hotel and the rooms unfortunately a bit antiquated too. The room was clean and safe, but with lots of blemishes and cracks. We chose to see it as charmy rather than worn down, but an overhaul is probably needed at some point. And there's only one elevator. Due to the design of the building it would be difficult to install more, but during peak hours this could be a bottleneck. Overall a good stay though, and would choose it again.

Lovely comfortable and spacious room with beautiful bathroom (walk-in shower and bathtub) and the most delightful smelling toiletries! Shame there was no view. The staff at the reception were really friendly and helpful and spoke fluent English.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful but fairly blah - nothing really exciting. The hot food options were pancakes or sausage and egg but they weren't overly nice. Also a bit strange that you had to pre-book your breakfast time slot so know the night before what time you would want to go for breakfast.

The location, right across the road from Malmo Station, The hotel is not new, in fact it looks quite old but dont let that fool you, it has been lovingly restored and re-decorated to a very high standard. The high ceilings in the reception and the breakfast area give the hotel a "Grand Hotel" feel about it and the other rooms on the ground floor, the lounge/library in particular provide a cosy location to relax with a drink with friends. There is also a pub , with a great atmosphere that also serves food, attached to the hotel . The reception staff were great and friendly and helpfull, the bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom was large by comparison with similar hotels. The breakfast was first class, a great choice of food in a really splendid setting.

Nothing. This is a great hotel, that we will definitely stay at again.

The hotel in itself is beautiful, it's a historic place hosting many world famous personalities in a great location. Beds are comfortable, the shower is like a spa... we had a suite. The breakfast was a great.

Unfortunately due to the Malmö Festival there were a lots of noise until 01.00 am each night, followed by cleaning machines on the street from about 04.00-06.00 am, which made sleeping for all family members including a 3 years child a challenge. Also the sauna was closed due to renovation.

Great hotel, very nice library, breakfast hall, nice staff, very friendly. Convenient parking garage (at extra cost), very nice room, very nice view, very good breakfast. The staff were friendly with my son, and generally helpful. Did answer quickly to questions/messages. Welcomed us late at night.

There is no fitness room/treadmill. I knew that and still chose the hotel. I'd say that was the only drawback. Had a nice run by the ocean in Scaniaparken nearby (windy, but beautiful), so that is a good alternative.

Especially the option to Go Green and suspend cleaning for the duration of my stay. Also, it was very quiet which is unusual for most hotels (some guests were up till 4 a.m. but the noise didn’t carry too much). And the room was pleasantly warm. (I’ve been in some very chilly hotels.) Breakfast was cleverly organized in that there were no trays. Guests had to go several times instead which prevented long queues. Good idea!

There was no genuine ”filmjölk”, youghurt or butter at breakfast. Only lactose-free or soy-based. Fortunately, there was milk (intended for coffee, but enough for cereal), or I would have had to skip cereal. I usually take a little butter with my croissant, but I solved that by using honey instead. If you’re on doctor’s orders to avoid soy, and the added enzyms in lactose-free products don’t agree with you, the lack of choice is a problem.

Everything was perfect. Clean rooms and very nice and helpful personnel. Breakfast was very good, lots to choose from. The room was equipped with all sorts of appliances which we didn't use but it was very good to have access to it just in case. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel's position was great, just outside the central station, walking distance between 3-5 minutes. I was afraid it would be noisy at night given the area, but it was nice and quiet. I also very appreciate that we could leave our luggage in the hotel luggage room before check-in and even after check-out, since our bus to Copenhagen was leaving 3 hours after check-out. Truly recommend!

Everything was perfect.

Great location opposite the Malmo train station..separated by a canal that also offers a nice view. Close to the old town and shopping street and many restaurants around. Love the hotels classic aesthetic and beautiful decor, old school lifts, beautiful dining hall, attached bar and a library. Reminds me of an old grand hotel. The room was big and bathroom bigger with great bathtub. Most importantly it's clean and cosy.. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices.

The corridor to the sauna and gym can be confusing... Hotel is like a maze. Nothing else really to complaint, love this hotel.
