The hostel rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the game room was perfect for a trip with friends. For the price, it was really exceptional for what what provided. We would certainly come back again.

The reception staff was unfortunately, somewhat incompetant or untrained with using the system. It took him an extra 10 minutes and 2 calls to his manager to figure out how to charge us because we have added 1 extra person the previous day (which was done by that same staff member). In the end the bill felt a little extra still but we let it go because of the long queue behind us. Perhaps better training would benefit him!

Booked a one night room for a bike trip. For a hostel, I was very surprised, super clean, bike storage, bathroom in the room, TV, and guess what, great bed, and not even "creaked" when someone moves. Location was also a very good spot, the view of the glaciers, calm, green. You can eat thanks to a grocery at 1km from the hostel, but there are also restaurants in the area. So finally, of course you are not single in the room but for 40 bucks, it is really worth it.

Not super intuitive to find the reception, and the room in all the buildings

A super place which is far, far better than your average hostel. The hostel is part of a development that was only built a few years ago so, as one would expect, everything still has that 'brand new' feel to it. The rooms were spacious, had comfortable beds, great shower and were immaculately clean. The staff were excellent and provided excellent communication even before we had booked - a huge THANK YOU to Lorena & Estalla who really were wonderful and super helpful. Although we arrived by train - the 'Catrina resort' offer a free shuttle service by the way - there are excellent parking facilities of you're coming by car and they also have secure cycle storage. The hostel is ideally located within spitting distance of a ski lift and mountain bike trails. It's a 20 min walk to town but there are buses although I'm uncertain of timings. There is a large Co-Op in the complex and there are several bars and restaurants that are part of the Cristina group....although, sadly, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

The restaurant that we went to (Stiva Ursus) was very average and not good value for money so it was a bit of a let down compared to the overall experience of staying in the resort which was excellent.

The room was modern, spacious and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking, the girl in the reception was very pleasant and spoke excellent English. Lovely mountain view from the room. Decent WiFi. Great pub, Nangilala, just around the corner and a Co-op just below.

No soap in the bathroom, but then it is a hostel!

I liked the hostel rooms, it's comfortable and also has a touch of privacy.

I would've liked to have a small kitchenette even if communal or just a kettle in the room to be able to have a cup of tea.

The location is right next to the slope, the breakfast was good, and I personalyl like the rooms, though they have a somewhat unusual layout.

Would be nice if the to top beds also had lamps and some place to store things like a water bottle.

unfortunately, the spa area cannot be used by hostel guests (also not if paid for extra), service in restaurant was not really friendly and tried their best to ignore me - probably single travelers don’t make enough turnover. meal was more expensive than indicated on the menu, because it was a “large portion” that I had not asked for.

Very good place, right next to the lift, close to the train station. There is a shop right next to it.

There are no hygiene products in the room, not even soap. Extra garbage bags could be left in the room. TV remote batteries are not working.

Ideal location,with a CoOp downstairs. There’s also a restaurant,and the best value breakfast ever!! There’s a bike wash and huge secure bike storage room.

Excellent accommodation and value for money. Clean rooms, polite and helpful staff, easy access to major sights/hikes around and convenient access to the supermarket next door
