The hosts (owners?) were so good to us. Our dinner that night was by far my favorite in Switzerland because all the courses tasted delicious and they were served with such kindness and professionalism. That morning, we said we would skip breakfast because we were leaving early for our hike. Yet they left us a delicious spread of food--even a pitcher of fresh orange juice and thermoses full of warm coffee--all arranged in a beautiful way on our table for two. It's really a special place.

Elizabeth was very welcoming and friendly! A super host! The room was in an older typical Swiss chalet, and it was clean and totally quiet! I slept very well. I was going to leave directly the following morning, but Elizabeth encouraged me to make use of the free VIP pass to use the small gondolas to go directly to Les Ruinettes (via Verbier), then to walk about 45 minutes on an easy, flat path/roadway that wound around to La Chaux, from where I paid an extra 20 to ride the large gondola to the summit of Mont-Fort. It was worth it to see the panoramic view of the mountain peaks all around. The return trip was the reverse. About 6.5 km of walking. Wear comfortable shoes. I will go back there again! Good wifi in the room, easy access late at night, lovely big room with huge windows. Elizabeth is very friendly (does help if you can speak some basic French, I don't think she speaks English) and provides a very nice, simple breakfast. Elizabeth will explain the shortcut to get straight down the hill to the Le Chable cable car, rather than the long route along the road.

You can't use the kitchen to cook lunch/dinner, but you can use the microwave.

Breakfast was simple but adequate. For the price paid you could not really expect more.

In the weekend when the place was fully booked, some improvisation was needed by the various guests to share the bathroom facilities. But this is of course part of the concept. You are staying in a normal home and when the whole family is home in any normal home, people have to mind how to share the facilities.

Nice, cosy and quiet room, easy access to the property. The room had its own access door, so there was no need to walk through the main entrance once settled. Hostess was very polite and helpful. Last but not least, Wifi speed didn't disappoint either.

No negative points, really. Satisfied with every part of the stay. Maybe an option to pay by card or Paypal would be an advantage instead of searching for a cash point, but it's not a big deal, just wastes those few precious minutes one could spend doing something else.

a very intimate little stay. the room was sweetly decorated and comfortable.. I felt like I was in my own home. a nice kitchen area and view from the balcony door was just wonderful. it’s a simple stay, but wonderful for the price. the host was also very sweet, even though I don’t speak French, it didn’t matter. it was a wonderful fast stay.

Friendly host lady; conveyed lots of good info about my next day hiking destination. Very clean, very comfortable. I would rather stay in this BnB than the hotel close by starting with L in name - they would charge 117 franks for a **shared** bedroom!

Comfortable, cute, peaceful home stay. Elizabeth was a very welcoming host. Breakfast is basic but fine. Very pleasant stay.

Heating did not work in my room but the heat from the hallway was enough to combat this. Breakfast would be improved by some fruit but otherwise fine for the price.

Wonderful bnb in the cute town of La Chable. Host was very friendly and helpful (as other reviewers have mentioned she only speaks French but is very patient with English speakers), rooms are clean and comfortable and has a lovely view from the balcony.

The hostess was warm and welcoming despite the English/French language barrier. My room was modest but cozy. Excellent location a short walk (on a hill) to the gondola. Basic breakfast of bread, jam, cereal and coffee. I would absolutely stay here again if traveling alone.
