The room was well appointed, modern, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was good. It was a fine place to stay, if a bit impersonal due to lack of staff except for the one person at breakfast.

The check in went well for us but the self check in process with a tablet is a bit impersonal. All the communication from the hotel prior to arrival was in German only. Considering the international nature of the clientele, and the lack of staff to assist if needed, multiple languages would be appreciated - and is common for all other accommodation we encountered during our trip.

The check in process was awful. Even the instructions on the wall do not mention that you have to add a zero to the room code. We could not have successfully checked in without the assistance of other people. Also laying on the spot was a slow process for me. Would have been great to have been able to pay before arrival. There are also too many confirmation emails saying the same thing. This makes it hard to go back and find the really important information about how to check in.

Nice new building, beautifully designed. Great breakfast with large variety of fresh foods, outstanding service. Very comfortable bed. Coffee machine in the room.

Location is okay if you're fine with doing nothing in the evenings (and these can be long and cold in winter). There is only one very simple restaurant in St. Niklaus. Getting to Zermatt is quite complicated: by car to Taesch and then train to Zermatt. Would be nice if there was a reduced train fare directly from St. Niklaus to Zermatt, but it is very expensive, so we preferred the car. Room smaller than expected and than it appeared on the pictures.

Small, but very beautifully furnished rooms; small but nice bathroom; absolutely quiet

No hairdryer; difficult to check in: I tried checkin online at 3pm while I was still 150km away - it took me more than one hour for two rooms! I several times called the help telephone number that should be available until 6pm but noone answered. At the hotel outside there is a numeric pad which I thought I have to type in the checkin code, but it didn't work. I then called the help telephone number and they told me to go inside. There is another numeric pad and after inputting the checkin code, we got the room keys. Why isn't there a note outside? Very difficult, especially for an elderly person like me (I am 65 years old..

The checkin was confusing, our reservation said we could pay on checkout but we received a message days before saying they wouldn’t provide the checkin code until we paid. I messaged them a few times to try to sort it out but got no response. Had to phone to get the code, tricky figuring out how to use it to get the key, others were having the same difficulties as us.

The hotel room was a good size, clean, well appointed, and updated. The beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The location is excellent.

Because the hotel has no staff except for breakfast, the check in process was challenging. The instructions are not clear and confusing. There is no one there to ask for help. The breakfast was also average with not many choices.

The space was well-maintained and clean. Check-in was easy with the keycode on the lockbox. Although a little tight, the bathroom was comfortable and well-designed.

The listing identified access to a fitness center, but it did not indicate that it was outside the building. Additionally, the fitness center hours shown on their website were not accurate, although I was able to get a member of the hotel staff to open the gym for me on Sunday morning. I greatly appreciated the private workout space!

The hotel was located in the beautiful village of St. Niklaus, and it was super quiet. Also very conveniant location to get to Zermatt. Easy to park at a few hundreds metters from the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and very modern. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was modern and very relaxing. Breakfast was simple but really good, really enough to get the day started. The staff was adorable :) helpful, and welcoming. A great place to stay whenever you wanna visit Zermatt.

They have a Fitness centre but located in the breakfast/bistrot/shop building (a different building is on the other side of the street for the rooms) but only accessible when they are open. I wish there was a way to access it anytime with the magnetic card. Otherwise that's it really :)

we stayed for two nights there, we enjoyed it very much. The hotel is located in a small village, not far from Zermatt. it was self check in, and the room was very modern and beautiful. The breakfast was great and yummy. The staff was so polite and nice to us.

The hotel is clean and cosy with lovely staff at the breakfast/reception area!

May not be suitable for travelling with the elderly or guests with big and heavy luggage as one needs to walk down a very steep cobbled stones walkway before reaching the hotel.
