The shower room! Top notch heated floors, walk in shower, felt opulent. Giant room, giant bed, giant balcony, coffee machine a bonus. This was a wonderful place to stay. Mixed salad and mushroom risotto were delicious but sadly I was too tired to eat it all. Breakfast was brilliant too, thank you, lots of choices.

Self check in was new to us. Easy enough to work out. We stayed in room number ten (10) the door key jammed in the door. You have to really pull on the door to get it to turn. ( Maybe the door has warped- but if my partner hadn't been very strong, I wouldn't have been to turn the key) Sink tap was wobbly, probably too many people trying to fill the water jug provided to fill the coffee machine with. ( Just a smaller water bottle would help with this). Coffee machine had to be moved along with the TV screen to fill the water holder at the back).. maybe change the coffee machine position to the other side of the TV. Not complaints, just observations. I loved loved this place.

The room was newly renovated, lovley decor and deisgn from power outlets to a smart TV. The bathroom was great, and the bed was comfortable. Brrakfast included was good but not a huge selection, however enough. There is a communal area with a microwave and kettle, which is very helpful.

When we arrived, there was no one at reception & we had to check in via a tablet, but it wouldn't allow us to check in due to an error on the hotel's end (after we made the payment via the tablet). There was a message which said to ring a number, but we didn't have a sim to make calls in Switzerland (whatsapp only). Thankfully, another guest came & let us use his phone. This could have been an issue if we didn't see the guest.

Rooms are very clean and spacious. Facilities are great. Breakfast is alright. The part we didn’t like was there are no elevators so had to carry the bags all the way up. And it’s around 15 minutes walk from the train station (St. Niklaus station) so be prepared to walk. To go to Zermatt, you need to take a train which takes 50 minutes. And there is a trains every 30 minutes.

Distance from train station is a lot with the luggage. And there are no elevators. Also, front desk is empty and they don’t respond to the number given in front desk

I had a very comfortable stay in Hotel La Reserve. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was slightly out of town, but close enough for an easy walk in. Check-in was fairly straight-forward however was done via an iPad rather than face to face with a member of staff.

Beautiful newly renovated room! Super comfortable bed. Contactless checking process was super easy. Loved the balcony. Restaurant was amazing- pizza was delicious and breakfast buffet was awesome!

The hotel is under renovation/construction right now, but the workers left in the evening and the room was pretty soundproof, so wasn’t an issue, even while they were working.

I arrived on a very stormy day during the Haute Route.trek and was able to check in early. Comfortable beds, balcony and a nespresso machine too. About ten minutes walk from the train station. Not much going on in St Niklaus but the bar and restaurant were popular with locals and residents. Decent pizza and salad though service was quite slow!

Our room was spacious and clean. We also had a balcony which is nice if you spend any time in your room. The restaurant had good food at a reasonable price.

This is a nice hotel in a good location, but the self check-in process wasn't easy. We saw several other parties in addition to us who had difficulty checking in without a clerk to help them.

I am ok with an automated checkin, however the process was cumbersome and difficult. Need to have a method to pre check in from a mobile phone and simply collect the key upon arrival. Also, the notification email said to expect an email at 3pm with checkin instructions, that email never came.

The staff were genuine and super friendly. Big shout for Fiona. She was a star during our stay. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good stay. Can't thank her enough. The staff in general were amazing and the food at the restaurant in La Reserve was a highlight of our trip.

The bed sheets and pillows but no complaints as such.

Gorgeous rooms, comfy bed and squashiest duvet known to mankind, it was great staying here for a night during the WHR. Massive rainfall shower and toiletries, decent restaurant and overall a really nice place to stay. Best breakfast EVER …
