Extremely welcoming host who did everything to make sure I was comfortable, including making sure I didn’t go out without a rain jacket and umbrella and offering a bicycle to use for free. Nice common area and kitchen. Homemade tea and drinking water available. The private room had a little balcony. Very clean bedroom. I liked the location on a quiet street but within walking distance (about 30 minutes) of the night market.

The kitchen area could have been cleaner (some ants), and the room was quite basic, but I had a lovely stay overall.

1. Great hospitality of the B&B owners, especially the "Ama" that made me feel at home 2. All the facilities were fantastic! 3. Even provided free bikes! 4. Close to downtown and Hualien Station. Both were within walking distances, which was super convenient.

1. I heard that you had to cross the street to do laundry, which can be annoying on rainy days. 2. No elevator as they emphasized, but it was okay for me without big luggage 3. There was a small window without a curtain at my bed. It could be a bit too bright during daytime if I wanted to have a rest.

B& B Owner, Owen, is very responsive & helpful. He & his mother made our stay & Hualian trip a pleasant memory! The location of B&B is convenient, 10min walking distance to train stations and few min to eateries/bakery.The place is very clean and the rooms come with air-conditioner & heater. Owen also recommended the chartered tours. The considerate driver cum tour guide Xiao Chai is very professional. He adjusted the tour schedule according to our needs and my old parents. My whole family had an enjoyable Hualian trip, thanks to Owen, his mum & Xiao Chai!!:)

The hosts had maps and informational brochures to explain the surrounding area to us. The hostel was fairly empty, so they gave us an entire 4-person room to ourselves (we were only 2 people). The common area had a bunch of snacks- some were so tasty we bought several bags at the supermarket to bring home with us. One of the hosts gave us advice on buying local fruits and offered to get some from the market for us.

The hostel is cozy and clean. The staff is friendly. It's good that they have curtains for beds. The kitchen area is big. There is free black tea in the fridge and fruit on the table. You can read books or play board games in the study room. I like that they provide useful hygiene products such as normal saline and pads for girls.

The only problem is that the air con and fans make the room too cold.

The pillow was really comfortable and felt like it was down feathers. There was privacy even in a shared room with curtains provided for each bed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made it like a homestay. The design of the house was thoughtful and creative- fabulous!

Locating the property was not easy for me even though it was near the train station as the streets were confusing.

Great location, super friendly and helpful mother and son owners, the place is very clean with lots of pretty art too Beds were very comfortable and spacious, even for a very tall person. As was the bathroom, with the shower also having excellent water pressure. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Hualien!

Staff is very lovely and extremely hospitable. coin laundries just in the corner of the hostel. Liked the balcony in woman's dorm too. Close walk to the Train station and Taroko Gorge bus stop. You can borrow a bike also.

One of my best hostel experiences! Spacious, clean and quiet rooms, cozy and well-furnished kitchen and living room and location close to the train station. Also the family running the hostel is the sweetest and super helpful and attentive - really feels like your becoming a part of their family.

Extremely welcoming owner. Very friendly and took good care of us. Nice little house. Warm atmosphere at the property. Without asking, he looked for the bus schedule for us to go to Taroko gorge.

Just the wooden table on the terrasse that was a bit leaning. So II was difficult to sit on it.
