This property is about location. It is just near the entrance to Jiufen Old Street, so you'll be at the center of the action. Of course, the "Tea House" is very accessible from this property. The room is of the right size, the bed and pillows are comfortable. The toilet is one of those Japanese kind, the high-tech one. The reception floor also has a restaurant/coffee shop, so it's very easy to access food :)

Although, we are informed prior to our arrival, it is still quite annoying to bring the luggage upstairs without lift; but it is a very minor issue. Also, in our room, there is no separate areas for T&B, thus, everything becomes wet when you shower. Lastly, be prepared to pay in cash when you check-in, although your card will be blocked the amount of your room when you book. (The blocked amount will be cancelled when you pay in cash during check-in.)

the room that I booked was changed to the so-called ‘the room with best view’. thanks for that. great view indeed. spacious room and fragrance complimentary beauty products for travelers. great location and nicely decorated ambiance in their restaurant that was just the the ground floor of the building; and yummy coffee. high-tech toilet bowl facilities is great too.

since this is the room with best view, the drain sewage’s smell filled the restroom. do find a way to solve this issue; e.g. put some fragrance oil or dried plant to lighten or cover the sewage smell that emits from the drainage hole.even though I switched on the air flow facility, still the smell reeks.

Beautiful panoramic windows providing an unparalleled view of the city from bed. The outdoor patio was beautiful and provided additional fresh air. There's even a view from the bathroom/bathtub! We were blown away by the beauty of the city. Also the hotel is located right in the heart of Old Street and during the day you can hear the bustling of city life, along with ocarina music from the ocarina shop across the street. I fell in love with this place and wish I can do a month-long rental here in the future. The restaurant downstairs also makes amazing coffee and delicious beef noodle.

Was not aware the number of stairs it takes to get to this room. Not accessible-friendly.

There is some history to the property, it is well maintained and clean. The location is near to main road and bus station, and is accessible to the streets of shops.

There is no lift and we struggled with carrying our luggage down 3 stories of steps. There are also ants near dressing table and the minibar area. The toilet was stressful as there is no shower space; the showering area is at the wash basin. When we inform the bnb that we cannot attend to their breakfast schedule, they did not offer discount or other options to defray the disappointment of not able to eat their breakfast

I like the location as it is near Jiufen. Also even though our room had some minor issues with the door, the staff were able to resolve quickly and even upgraded us to a better room and provided complimentary breakfast and treats. They were awesome. Next the food is super delicious as their breakfast set is just fulling and is clean , and makes a good variety.

Facilities could have been improved a little better as some of the equipment could have been old.

The location is very convenient if you want to stay in Jiufen for the night view. It’s only about 3mins walk from the Jiufen old street bus station. We took route 965 from Taipei to Jiufen.

The facilities are a bit old but we understand that.

The location was superb. It was in the heart of old street which is where everything is centered. The facility itself is cozy and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Strongly recommend

The water temperature was difficult to manage and was inconsistent but it wasn’t intolerable

Located inside the Jiufen old street. Scenery is perfect with the balcony and large windows.

The wooden flooring at the balcony were eroded and broken (trip hazards). The bath tub was slightly dirty before the first use. The water dispenser is not for use after 11pm. My umbrella was stolen after it was left at the umbrella stand! Be aware!

The B&B is easy to find and convenient, and the staff are friendly. Room is big and comfy,as we picked sea view,so there's a little balcony facing the sea.Breakfast is really good too. Very worth the money

The bed was super comfy. There was air conditioning and a dehumidifier in the room. The toilet had a bidet. The free breakfast was very good. The location is right on the old street which is nice, however that did make it hard to find parking.

My window looked right out to another building, so there was not a view, but I guess that's to be expected when it's on the old street so close to other buildings.
