The room was okay and the location was near to Jiufen Old Street, however make sure you take the right path and look at the signs on the walls. Google Maps takes you all the way up and around to the property, but there's actually a staircase that leads up and takes less time and effort. There's also a good breakfast in the morning, they make sandwiches, coffee, milk tea, and milk for guests
The bathroom was pretty small and the shower and toilet were together.

Breakfast is good for 2 nights stay because is sandwich made by house owner herself (if too many days might bored of that). Location, honestly speaking not easy to find if out of the Jioufen old street, signboard along the way but inside Jioufen old street. It's on hill, so please expected has to climb staircases and slope to get up.
accidentally saw centipede, lucky on the day we check-out ( if not how can we sleep peacefully ) From behind, there's grave ( of course their local people used to it ) and quite plenty of homestay there located same area. House owner not really fluent in English , so be patient when communicating.

To be truth it was my worst experience of hotel untill now. I just stay there because I have no other option as it's in mountain.
Room is totally different from what shown in picture. Cleaning is not good. Also no drawer to put the clothes. Host behavior was so rude. Lots of noise from other room untill midnight, probably there family lives there . Basically sound insulation was so poor. Window glass was so dirty ...you can't see outside clearly. Some insect roaming around near the edge of bed.
