The room is small but designed ergonomically. The bed is comfortable, there's a nice ledge that doubled as a desk, fridge, industrial style clothing rack. Clean bathroom with all the supplies we needed. We love that there is ample lighting in both the room and the bathroom. Breakfast buffet selection is okay. On our first day we had to go to a sister hotel due to a gas leak problem, but for the succeeding days, it was fixed and we could dine at the hotel. Love the modern and stylish interiors and furnitures. It's also so nice that the snack bar is open 24/7, there is also a laundry room in the hotel. It's close to the train station and bus stops too. There's a convenience store in the same block, and multiple fast food options just across the street. Staff are nice and welcoming. Check in and check out were easy. Will definitely stay again.

Really small window, however it's understandable.

I like the location, train station walk 5 mins, bus stop in front of the hotel . all day free drinks , buns , popcorn and ice cream . free laundry all day . Very nice breakfast, lots of veggies and fruits and eggs and meat , rice , bread and congee . the lounge area is 24 hours , before I get the room I can charge my phone . the room is very nice , my room has no window but I am ok with that , the bathroom is nice and big . seems the hotel is newly renovated? when I come back to kaoshuing I will choose these hotel again . they even prepare a nice recycle bag , I use it do the laundry and you can bring home too .

Utilities: free buffet and 24 hrs all-you-can-eat snack bars with popcorn and ice cream! elevator just next to the concierge. Room: little small for 4 but decent bed size for doubles, small bathroom with only an half door so potentially flooding to the dry area. Good design of the body-sized mirror in front of the door and so many plugs for u to use! Others: decent price for great location, the behind of the station and turn right, 5mins walk and u get here. only a 2k TWD worths it. KFC, Yoshinoya(japanese don), burger king and 7-11 nearby, so convenient and car-rental as well.

Great location on main road, close to bus station with new rooms and modern facilities, delicious simple buffet breakfast and free drinks/chilled juices/ fresh coffee maker, ice cream + snack at ground floor lobby for all day/night is a good plus, they also have a loundry room for guests. 7-Eleven and Subway are 3-5 m. from the door step and a short walk from Kaohsiung main station, very easy when you ride MTR from/to the airport. Rooms were not big but provided a comfortable space and a good bed/ mattresses with small fridge, flat screen tv with HDMI port, coffee/milk tea sets and clean bathroom. Free wifi made you feel good for digital life in the hotel.

The only little thing is the powerful water pressure, good for bathing but be careful for your bottom!

This hotel is near with the Gao Xiong Station,walk around 15 minutes . I booking 2 double bed room for me and 2 children .the room clean and suit my needs. toiletrities and 1 recycle beg is provided.easy for me to pack my cloths to the laundry room at ground floor . The washing machine and dryer machine is provided and free of change including the litergent. I like the breakfast, very delicious .24 hrs beverage , biscuits and ice cream is eat for free.The staffs are friendly.i likes the environment in the dining room,clean and peaceful.highly recommended for family trip.

I've been to Kaoshiong several times, & I must say Royal hotel is the best with valuable price. they provide everything even beyond your expectation, example: teeth floss!! Im abit particular on the clealiness, And they didnt dissapointed me. They change the bed sheet everyday. Which is most of hotel didnt do. Nearest route to hotel is exit from Mrt, take a lift on left side then walk from your right , cross the road walk straight and hotel on ur right ! Famous night market , Liuhe just 10mnt walk. Highly recommended!

room is super clean though small. window has provided good enough lighting. room lighting and ambience gives the positive and brighter look.toiletries are provided even things like dental floss, which is nice. amazing breakfast with many vegetarian options, which is the biggest happy surprise:) there are snacks and coffee provided any time of day, including ice cream:) Landry facility is available and is free. staff is courteous and are helpful. overall its a great value for money and would recommend it to others.

The hotel is very close to the train station. Five minutes walking. The room they gave me was very nice, all renovated, with a window with an open view, very bright. It has a TV, desk, refrigerator, electric kettle, and safe. Everything is very good and renovated. Breakfast has everything, fruits, coffee, bread and many foods. Also, you can always have free coffee and juices, free bread, ice cream and popcorn, and, of course, you have drinking water available. The place is really highly recommended. If you like walking, it's a 25 minute walk to Live River. Super convenient. I would return, I liked it a lot.

Near Kaohsiung TRA and mrt station

The receptionists we met during our 4N stay were cold, impatient and unfriendly. No one staff smiled to their guests (both local and foreigners). They just stood behind the counter and talked among themselves 👎🏻 Chambermaids were friendly and greeted us when we met them at the corridor. Limited food options for breakfast and food replenishment was slow as there was only 1 staff assigned to the restaurant. Light snacks (mantou and popcorn) available for supper. We stayed in room 701 (quad room) which was relatively small for 4 pax, hardly any space to walk if you open up 2 luggages. We used to stay in this building under Kindness hotel. We prefer the service of Kindness hotel over Royal group.

The breakfast was had a very good spread. Fresh fruits, dim sum, cooked dishes like vege, beef, pork, bread, milk, tea, coffee and even ice cream. We felt that was good value for money. The room was relatively small, but very cosy, we felt very comfortable. The bathroom was well spaced. The cleaners did a good job, they saw we were drying some clothes, and the next time we got back to the rooms, there were hangers ( no closet), tucked away at the right places. They organized the space very well.
