So I took a big L for being rude to the staff on the reception yet throughout they were very professional and never reacted to my deplorable behaviour. The lady incharge and the other staffs was exceptionally professional throughout. I later find out they were right and I was wrong ( Booking.com did not include the city tax in the total price on the email they sent me) I was left with egg on my face and had to apologise to which they graciously accept with smile on their faces. I am still embarrassed! The hotel is nice we stay in the executive suite. Its very spacious and had everything we needed. The sofa are not the most comfortable but the WiFi there is very good maybe the best at any we've hotel I've stayed at in Tanzania. The location is not the best the drain but Its Tanzania.

We only stayed one night and didn't have any issues.

Clean room and surrounding, free water bottles, breakfast, staff, location. The hotel is located in a safe area, with dozens of options for food and transport. The street food on the same road, near the hospital, is great and cheap. Smoothies, Sugar Cane juice, Chicken, Fries, etc... Very affordable. If you take the main avenue to the right, you will find a great restaurant with various options and best price in the area. The museum village at walking distance, on the same main avenue, is awesome for few hours visit. Tuk Tuk is always a brilliant option as well. I do recommend walking around... We did walk from the hotel to the most famous beach in Dar Es Salaam, Coco Beach. It was a long journey but with a lot to see. Totally safe as well. Coco beach is not a must, due to loads of dirt, plastic and broken glass on the sandy beach, but still a great walking experience.

The swimming pool water was not transparently clean as it could be. Also, not having pool chairs available around, makes it harder to enjoy and relax. Despite all that, the pool wasn't smelly, so we did enjoy twice in 6 days. When you see the hotel pictures you think that the big tower is all part of the hotel, but it is only the first 4 levels. Above that, private residences. Still no issue, but the hotel did look much bigger and powerful than what it is really. This affects the size of reception, gym, restaurant, etc.

The breakfast covers different cultures' needs, fresh, nice staff and service. The hotel location is near to most of businesses I supposed to visit. Safe location and building, 24-hour reception desk is available. Clean rooms & friendly room service, they can assist you in using the free laundry facilities located in every floor. There is a laundry & pressing shop nearby you can easily drop your staff and take it next day. As a businessman in a business trip, I found my stay was extraordinary especially for the high-speed internet they have.

It would be better if the room have a safe box & fridge

Very clean, friendly professional staff, safe close to everywhere , charging station that accommodates Americans chargers, clothing steamer, mini fridge, free water bottles refilled daily, microwave,sparking clean room, gym breakfast , AC nice and kool, I love this place will recommend it, and will definitely stay here next time.

It’s nice they have washers , I wish they had a laundry room with updated machine I come here because I can do things such as laundry just like in America I also understand that some folks probably mess these washers up.

- Staff did a great job communicating prior to arrival and were helping with airport transfer arrangements at a reasonable cost. - The breakfast was nice. - Rooms were very clean. - There seemed to be several food and shop options nearby. - The rooms have a/c.

-The staff had me look at a room before I checked in to ensure that it was good. They then got me set up there. Three hours later (after I returned from getting dinner), I discovered that my key did not work. They then said that they had accidentally put me in the wrong room and made me pack up my things and move to a different (smaller) room instead of accepting that the mistake was theirs and allowing me to stay (even though I had already used towels and sheets). This was annoying and made me late for a Zoom meeting. - There is no way to lock the door from the inside several staff members have master key cards, so it felt a bit unsecure. - There was no hot water for showers. - It was a bit far from the airport (about 40 minutes without traffic)

We are repeat guests at Pauraque Soho Hotel because we like the convenient location and the amazing staff. This time we had a situation where a mistake was made in regards to our favorite room which we had asked for in advance. The staff at the front desk didn’t think they had the authority to rectify the problem in the way we asked, but a phone call to the very nice manager took care of our situation immediately. Our initial frustration was handled to our complete satisfaction and very politely and in a professional manner by the kind ladies at the reception. It is obvious that customer service matters a lot to this team. Everybody on the staff is always so welcoming and friendly that it feels nice to come back here. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the breakfast buffet offers a good variety of tasty dishes and fruits in a small but nicely decorated setting, and the outside pool was a nice refreshments after busy days. Thank you to the whole team of Pauraque Soho Hotel, from security to restaurant to cleaning and front desk, as well as the wonderful manager for always providing service with care! We like everything.

PSH remains my choice location when I travel to Dar. the location is great and the high standard for the facilities are the same as the time i first went there. Its quiet clean and confortable. Guest emenities like a washing machine and a steamer for your clothes are very helpful.

Breakfast could be earlier especially for business travellers 7:30am is too late - 6:00am would be ideal. Hotel doesnt provide meals after breakfast so should have restaurant partnerships which can be charged to the guest.

Very friendly and helpful staff

I loved everything actually my daughters loved everything. The food was excellent,the decor was so serene and blissful. The staff were super duper awesome. We enjoyed staying there. I recommend anyone looking for a place to go there!. The staff are so polite, supportive,and caring. I loved the smell of the place, I forgot to ask the fragrance,I would like that in my house. For breakfast it's one of the best buffets I have had in a decade. Thank You for making our stay a memorable one. Were were there for a night but ended adding an extra night. Plus on our Second day it was my daughters birthday. We loooooooved it. Thank you. Oh and it's value for your money. Oh before I forget,the playground is so pretty. It's got all the things you would wish in a playground.. My little one loved it. It's safe and clean. Plus very colourful for the little ones.

I loved everything

Very nice room, big and comfortable, also very clean. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is not that perfect but its ok. Good and calm place to stay.

Wifi is not that good, so if you need to work with good connection maybe is not perfect for you. We didn’t go to the swimming pool because the water was dirty. There’s some building around so can be a little bit noisy around 9am
