The hotel is great, superb location. Close to many temples and many great places to eat and drink around. The rooftop swimming pool is a luxury. The rooms were very clean.

When we check in the hotel added lots of things on to our bill without really clarifying. I only realized afterwards they the bill was much more expensive compared to when we had pre booked online. I should have paid more attention, and expensive lesson learned.

Ayathorn Bangkok is a great hotel in the middle of Bangkok with a really upclass-feel to it. The hotel staff are very professional and friendly and can help you with any inquiry you might have. The breakfast was great and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The hotel's location seems like a perfect idea on paper, since it is so close to all the city's most important historical sights. I think this is a great location for first-time visitors of the city. Personally, I did not enjoy the location too much, since it was a real bother getting to it by taxi. The streets there are very small, congested and you can expect construction sites to make your arrival more difficult. We actually had to take taxis to a location a bit further away, in order to save time. You can see the proximity to the city's sights on the photo.

Room was really good, well equiped and comfortable. The staff of the hotel was just great. Swimming pool is amazing and location couldn't be better.

Room doesnt have great sound isolation. The noise from the street is no problem, but the elevator is not that nice.its like you have someone ringing at your door all night and morning long. This was very annoying specially at night that just turning of the sound would solve the problem...and the bell is quite loud

Huge comfortable bed with great sheets and pillows, huge room, super clean and staff is really friendly. can walk to so many sight seeing spots, great restaurants. breakfast is a nice start to the day.

would love more eco friendly initiatives, refillable water station /plastic free water options, option to opt out of new towels, etc.

Comfortable big rooms, very well equipped. Location very convenient to visit most important historical places in Bangkok. We have not used public transport so can not assess it in this location but tuktuks and taxis are perfectly ok. Walking distance to the "small" china town (or maybe it is called differently) what makes it very convenient for evening dinning. A swimming pool on the roof makes a great impression.

There is no 24/7 front desk but it is not a problem (security staff takes care during off hours). In August 2023 there were also serious construction works in front of the entrance to the hotel (they build underground station there) what might be disturbing for some guests.

This hotel has the BEST bed and shower in Thailand. The breakfast was amazing too!! Everyday there was fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, bacon, plus several delicious International choices. By day two of my stay, the chef had perfected my cheese omelet. What a treat! The hotel building is nice. The decor is a little dark. The room is basically gray, but it all works well in a calming way. The balcony is a plus. It looks out onto a river. It was interesting to watch daily life and what part the river plays. But the people, the staff... make this hotel shine!!! They were kind, helpful and went out of their way to make my stay memorable and restful. I was totally oblivious to the construction in front of the hotel because everything inside of the hotel makes you feel so calm. Book this hotel and there's a cute rooftop pool bar too...you cant't beat it

No room service or restaurant open for dinner in the hotel

Close to everything without being to close that noise becomes a problem. Easy as to get a tuk tuk usually one sitting outside hotel. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in better than my own. Absolutely gorgeous temple just across the road. Spotless rooms, all the amenities you need, fantastic air-conditioning and shower. The canal veiw is lovely change from the run of the mill hotel. I got lucky on my last day and got to see a giant monitor lizard on my last day on the edge of the canal

Breakfast is a little ordinary for the price, lots of choice but I would book without breakfast in the future. Construction of underground station outside hotel but I never once heard any noise from it. Only one English channel on the hotel cable channels, great 65 inch smart TV but you have to connect your own media(eg Netflix etc)if you want to watch anything. For the price they should have better cable access. Pool area is lovely but needs some more shaded areas it was a brutal 40 deg c when I was there and was very little shade.

We loved our stay at the Ayathorn - staff were extremely polite and helpful [even helping with extending our stay at the last minute], our room was large, well-laid out and the double bed was just huge! Spotless room, good linen, attention to detail in the furnishings. The roof top pool is an added bonus in sweltering Bangkok. Breakfast is amazing, service with a smile and an exceptional buffet to suit all tastes. We spent 6 nights here, in 2 rooms and cannot recommend the hotel enough. Very good value for money.

The room was spacious and the bed was absolutely the best most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. I would seriously buy it for my home!

construction outside the front door makes first time navigation to the property a challenge. gps will try to take you on a closed road so you need to go a couple blocks away to get to the hotel from off the main road. Lobby cafe needs to open earlier, and for the prices you change for a basic latte it needs to be better. I had to educate the guy not to pour cold milk into the espresso shots making what should be a hot latte at best room temp.

Very clean hotel. Staff excellent and very helpful, always willing to offer advice and taxi etc. Breakfast was plentiful and a good mix of offerings. Beds were extremely comfortable and the room facilities were as you would expect

Pool area - no where to change. there is a shower facility but that's it. Just outside the hotel there is a major building construction going on (new underground facility) - make sure you book a room on the opposite side of the works if possible. To be fair to the hotel, there is nothing they can do about it and noise was mostly contained to the day but the views out from the restaurant are onto multiple concrete containers. When this is completed, the location of the hotel will be fantastic for travel!!
