Beautiful traditional house on a quiet street near Khao San road. There are no breakfasts at the property but there are a lot of places around and the hotel staff is happy to recommend some local spots. Room is small but very cozy. Shower in the room (we stayed on the second floor) is gorgeous with live plants under the oped sky. We didn't have hot water or pressure problems.

Note that there is no fridge or safe in the room if this is important for you.

The staff were delightfully friendly, kind, attentive and polite. The premises are full of character, impeccably maintained, bright, airy, traditionally beautiful. The location suited us very well - a short walk to the Khlong ferry and not far from the river ferry, close to numerous good restaurants, a pleasant walk from the most intense tourist activities near Khaosan Rd.

This is a traditional Thai house. It is beautiful, clean, and traditional. This means it has beds with foot and head boards, which is difficult for me because i am 198cm. Not really a criticism, more an occupational hazard.

Breathtaking traditional house, which is really hard to find - not much architectural heritage around here (with somewhat of an exception of all the churches). The streets around are dirty, but the accommodation is a safel, clean haven for your stay. Lush garden surrounds the house and you go through it to reach your room. Room was really stunning combo of traditional and modern so nothing felt out of place. Bathroom has live plants inside and wooden planks as the shower floor - truly lovely. Everything works as it should, room is squeaky clean, amenities in the bathroom smell great. There are some free drinks (coffee, tea) and kettle available. We arrived almost at midnight but the lady in charge was ready for us, gave us a map and showed us around the room and asked if we could try walking gently on the wooden floor as it creaks and there were guests under our room.

There is a family (supposedly) that cares for the garden and always is around and one night they have been drilling or washing something whole night, which we heard, but it wasn't overwhelming.

Because of a delayed flight I arrived late in the night and was still greeted warmly upon arrival. I was lucky to be upgraded to a larger room and loved the design of the entire house. A little sad that they dont offer breakfast there, but staying at the guesthouse was still a wonderful experience. The woman who worked there was incredibly kind, helpful and spoke great English. The location is very central yet quiet. If you stay there (which you should), do yourself a favour and get a Thai massage next door to the guesthouse. It was the best one I've had and very inexpensive compared to other massage places in the area:)

We loved the locatuon! Close to everything, but tucked away on a quiet backstreet. Our room was lovely and decorated beautifully with period pieces. We had a little sitting area as well as a huge bathroom and the plunge pool area outside. The gardens are well tended and so pretty. Our hostess was always smiling and gave us some great tips for dinners and sights nearby. She also made cookies one morning and shared some with us. And of course, I enjoyed the resident cats as well.

The bathroom lighting is not great. Even though it had a shaving/makeup mirror, which i appreciated, it was hard to see. Though there are signs posted in each room explaining the need to be quiet because of the wood floors etc, we had very noisy upstairs neighbours, two of our 4 nights stay.

Very clean,comfortable and quiet in a great location close to the Democracy Monument. Baan Noppawong is an older home that has been well maintained and a great place to relax and cool off after a day in the Bangkok heat. When our flight was delayed and we arrived at 2am they were waiting for us with welcoming smiles which made our long journey worthwhile.

This property and the staff are exceptional.

Traditional Thai House with classic Thai décor. Very clean (outdoor shoes removed at the entrance) through out. Room with ensuite, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facility. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent for visiting Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Saket and Khaosan Road. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing we had a great stay here

loved the old bungalow, very cozy and clean. located near the old part of the town away from the crowd of tourists. the staff is excellent and helpful. very homely and calming experience.

it would be wonderful if they had breakfast. considering the size of the hotel they can take order the night before and serve in the morning to minimize wastage. the location is not convenient for those who like to travel by train. but taxies were quite readily available from the street. the location might scare some new travelers at first but it's quite nice actually.

Beautifully restored and decorated heritage house within walking distance from cultural landmarks and Khaosan Rd. Friendly and helpful staff. The place was well-lit and ventilated, clean, quiet, and very homey. It was nice to just relax in the veranda after a long day sightseeing. If you're lucky, a sweet fat cat might hang out with you. Our room was big enough for me, my husband and our backpacks. The bed was very comfy and we slept well. Woke up the next day to the sound of chirping birds. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Just one little thing, the AC in our room was not cooling enough for some reason.
