It was in a great location. A short walk to Khao San Road and loads of restaurants, 7 eleven across the road. The place is nicely decorated and clean.

Breakfast was expensive considering prices in Bangkok and honestly not that good either. We went two days to a restaurant up the road for way less than half the price. Pool was a little dirty with the rusted walls Staff seemed un trusting with the mini bar.

Spotlessly clean throughout, the rooftop pool was excellent with lots of pool towels and a small seating area to sit or out of the sun. The staff were incredible, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were buffet style, the girls were on the ball and replenished regularly. Our room was not huge but spotlessly clean and overlooked the canal (which had farmed fish in it). The balcony wasn't big enough to sit out, but that's the price we paid for the views.

It's a real shame this hotel didn't have a bar, it would have been so nice to sit with a drink in the evening overlooking the canal before going out, so peaceful!

A beautiful oasis in the midst of Bangkok craziness! This hotel is truly a gem with a great walking/taxi distance to all the different areas of Bangkok. Very clean, great AC and water pressure, rooftop pool was wonderful, breakfast was well rounded, seeing the jumping fish and monitor lizards in the canal was cool, and 7/11 right across the street was a plus for us Americans!

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was nice and spacious with a good, strong shower and air conditioning. They turned down the room every day if you wanted. Breakfast was buffet style with both Thai and Western food. There are seats for breakfast both in open air and inside with a view to a canal. After checkout, they had a secure ticketed luggage storage and also a toilet downstairs if you wanted to freshen up before leaving. There's is an ATM directly outside the hotel and 7/11 right across the street, although it's obviously popular as it often had empty shelves. The pool on the roof is nice to cool down but not really for swimming as it's quite small. It's near khaosan Road but not so close that you can hear music, the location was very good for sightseeing.

The window in the room faced a wall with no real view, which I was fine with. However, the room was very noisy. You could hear traffic and cats fighting etc. at night. You could also hear inside the hotel, doors slamming in the hall and EVERYTHING that was going on in the room next door. People obviously came in late, so this went on throughout the night. It is a shame because the hotel is very nice otherwise maybe I was just unlucky with my room

The location is superb. In the heart of the old town and very close to Khaosan and Rambuttri but most certainly not in the heart of that area. On the canal which is great. Rooftop pool is fantastic and get tons of sun with plenty of loungers and shaded tables too. The whole building, including the rooms, is tastefully designed/furnished, clean, and modern. GREAT value for money and wes return again and again. We've stayed in many hotels around the old town/Banglamphu and this is now my first choice. Breakfast was nice (albeit not an enormous selection) and the staff are helpful and warm.

Nice hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Pool was nice and very pleasant in the very hot temperatures we had. On a canal near the river, lots of fish and water monitors to watch, near lots of bars restaurants etc. Took a taxi back to the airport which was arranged by the hotel, efficient and good value and paid on our hotel bill card payment. Nice breakfast. Nice stylish interior. the aircon works well, too well for some customers who seem to set them for very low temperatures, our floor area where the aircon for the room below became incredibly cold for a time!

Most pool sunbeds are the curved lounger type only suitable for laying on your back. Breakfast area is open to the canal, which is nice, but therefore has no aircon, which means it can get rather hot at times. Don't be put off by the front, there are two units which are boarded up, which is not a great look, but it lovely inside.

Stayed here for 11 nights, and I couldnt be happier. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and everything is modern and functional. Some things I particularily appreciated: - Staff always helpful and polite. All requests were quickly and politely addressed (changing room due to noisy neighbors, laundry, order taxi, baggage storage). - Wifi was great. Had a few tele-calls with no hitches whatsoever - Rich breakfast covering all tastes - Very nice restaurant area - Great location. Loads of great eating options (food stalls, fast food, traditional restaurants, posher stuff, even a 24/7 noodle bar) and bars. Easy access to a 7-11, tourist agency organising day-trips, western style bakery, and loads of other stuff. Walking distance (15-30 minutes) from many of the tourist sites. Definitelly staying here when im in Bangkok again

I'm bieng picky here: - My air-conditioning unit was a bit noisy - Not a great view from the window, but i guess that is true for most places in bangkok less than 10 stories. - As some other reviewers have mentioned, the restaurant and pool area are under-utilised. Would be great if those were open for drinks/snacks all day.

Really good location, close to city attraction, a lot of tamples are walking distance from accomodation. Clean rooms with realy comfy beds. Friendly stuff, they helped us a lot with transportation booking.

We where in Bangkok during sha plus thai pass, so we had breakfast and dinner in the room, food was not good. Small portions and not that tasty. Once we didnt even got the dinner because we were not in the room when they were delivering it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Vimaya Riverside. It was a great location - close to all of the major temples / attractions, and Koh San Road for nightlife + food. The room itself was comfortable and clean - we had no complaints! The breakfast was tasty each morning, and had a nice sitting area with a view out to the river. The pool was not heated so was a bit chilly in the afternoon but it was nice to sit up there for an hour after walking all day exploring. Overall would say good value for money and great location - super cute hotel!

Fantastic location, walking distance to Khao San Road and some other interesting markets, cafe's, many great street food stalls and restaurants. Small, cosy (perhaps boutique!) hotel. Very clean, staff were kind and welcoming. We stayed in the Riverside Deluxe King room, which was lovely and well kept. Bed was very comfortable. the little balcony was a nice little spot to stand and relax as the boats went by. Breakfast was nice, sitting by the riverside and the breakfast/restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive.
