The hotel pools, spa and restaurant were great. Breakfast was a good balance between Thai and Western food and the buffet changed regularly.

No complaints as service was quick and efficient.

Outstanding hotel. Deluxe canal view room, 30m from a wonderful pool. Wonderful staff, allowed early check in and late check out. Great breakfast buffet. Well soundproofed rooms. Super location, near adhere 13th blues bar for great live music each nigh, and some great bars and restaurants. Far enough away from Khao San road noise. Amazing value for money, highly recommend.

Hotel located in a strategic area near the historic center and a few blocks from Khaosan Road. The block where it is located is very quiet with some restaurants. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Very good attention... they even prepared a lunch box for us since our plane left very early and we didn't get to breakfast. I highly recommend it!!!

This does not depend on the hotel... it's just a warning in case it happens to anyone: The driver who looked for us at the airport and returned us wanted us to hire him outside the hotel at all times, which did not seem correct to us. Since we didn't hire him directly, and we did it through the hotel, on the trip he returned he drove very quickly and treated us badly.

I really enjoyed the friendly staff, the welcome drinks kept in the lobby (which were always refreshing) and the clarity of the short day trips available in and around Bangkok. There were some really lovely street food options available around the hotel.

I thought the way the eggs were cooked, especially omelettes was rather raw and a bit smelly from the inside. I personally prefer to eat it well done and despite trying to explain to the chef at the omelette counter, they seemed to struggle with the cook. I also feel that there can be a few more Western options as a part of the buffet breakfast. The pool wasn't mainly cleaned so I didn't take a chance to swim in it.

We love this hotel and when we will come back again, we will book it again. Perhaps it was not a "tourist season" thus less people :D and more joy of the stay but: - the room was very spacious and was cleaned every day - they have two swimming pools with all the stuff required in the room(bath robe and slippers) - The noise isolation was perfect, however we were at the end of the floor corridor. - Advanced air conditioning system and view to the one of the canal (take room 5532 :)) - Breakfast was good as well, nothing special but still enough to eat for Western and Eastern people - The ground floor restaurant is serving a good food as well. - The location is perfect, it is far enough from the closes Undergrounds(approximately 35 mins walking when you will find a best shortcuts) but you will always pass by some temples. -a tourist street for all the massage/asian food and entertainment is about 10 mins walk, so we had an evening walks every day)

I put 10 points but something to fix for the hotel next time: - GYM - some equipment to be fixed, and towels + sanitizer to be available - SPA zone(Massage) - we tried and were very disappointed. It wasn't consistent , painful and unprofessional stretching muscles and neck without confirming that it is ok(people may have injuries and pains). So I'm happy to be back home to visit my masseur to fix what has been damaged. We tried multiple times the street massaged from non licensed masseurs - it was ok knowing that the price is 2-3 times cheaper than in the hotel.

Breakfast is very good and meals are different each day. It would be nice that it could be extended a bit longer. Very friendly staff. View from the rooftop swimming pool is very nice. It is next to a 7 eleven, which permitted us to get fresh bottled water easily everytime.

Towels at the swimming pool need to be better organised and more available. Rooftop bar was mostly unattended even we tried to call the staff nobody appeared. It would be nice that the hotel asks the guests no to use the swimming pool with only underwear. It could not be only unhygienic but also inappropriate. This also counts for naked children.

With not having been to Bangkok previoulsy I was unsure where to book, and also had a relatively small budget (I think the whole 4 night stay here might have been less than one of the "sky" hotels). On the map this hotel looked relatively near to the Chao River and not far from Grand Palace etc - we certainly weren't far from many places! In fact if we'd have had more time to truly get our bearings I think we were probably nearer than we thought to some places. It's located in an area with plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants, massage places, shops, stalls etc directly around the hotel but it was never over noisy or rowdy; plus there's a 7/11 right next to the hotel. The hotel is in two parts, something which threw me when going to the spa area as that's on Floor 8 and the lift I was in only went to Floor 7, helpfully a staff member saw my confusion and guided me. Even if you don't go into the spa for a massage that's the level where 1 of the swimming pools is (the other being on floor 3 of the Riverside wing), there's also a lovely relaxation area set in the middle of a koi pond. The spa itself - amazing, I had an hour long aromatherapy massage that cost all of ... (with credit card exchange rates) £12.50!!! Our room was on 3rd floor of the River Wing (as requested) - it was large, had a very comfortable and large bed, new water bottles daily (we came to understand this happens everywhere in Thailand) and plenty of toiletries. It overlooked one of the Choa River tributaries and local Thai houses (which was the type of view we preferred over skyscrapers and the city sky line). Breakfasts were good - the standard cereals, fresh fruit, Asian style hot food (for breakfast??

Only a minor and it was the same in all the hotels we stayed in - only seemed to get hot water from the shower (some of the places didn't even have the hot water plumbed into the basin) . So for shaving my husband either boiled the kettle or filled up from the shower hose.

I've stayed here one time before and was happy to come back. Comfortable hotel at a decent price. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is very good.

Location has pros and cons. It is very close to Khao San Road, which is a good area. However there is no local rail station and it is far from Sukhumvit which is probably the area most tourists stay in in the centre. So the hotel feels a little out of the way in terms of the geography of Bangkok. Depending on traffic (which can be notoriously bad in Bangkok), getting to Sukhumvit area by taxi can take 30-60 minutes which will eat time out of your day.

Location - perfect walking distance to Rambuttri/Khaosan Road but far enough that it was quiet and more family oriented. Lots of restaurants on the streets around the hotel, and a great bar just across the road. Staff - very friendly and accommodated an early check in, a few hours after our 7am arrival. Facilities - we particularly liked the pool on floor 3, the floor 8 pool looked nice too but we didn’t use it. Great to have two pools, as the hotel was very busy. Room - the room was really spacious, and the bed was so comfy. Would have happily stayed more than 2 nights. We really loved this hotel for the price point etc and would recommend it to family and friends

The breakfast! - SE Asia buffet breakfasts are often hit or miss, but this buffet seemed like it was more suited to dinner than breakfast. Creamy pumpkin soup and cream chicken pasta at 9am?! They did however have fresh scrambled eggs or omlettes, so we enjoyed them with toast. Tour groups - lots of big tour groups in the hotel. We understand it is the summer holidays, and the groups seemed friendly and courteous, however many times in the day the lobby area was filled with large groups waiting to depart or just arriving.
