very conveniently located besides The Platinum Mall, it is therefore also walking distance to other major malls such as Central World in proximity. Price is reasonable too for junior suite. hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly. room service is very prompt whenever requested.

the lifts are rather run down so waiting time can be long; the room card is still using very old magnetic system and can be easily demagnetised by close contact with our handphones. we got to keep going to the lobby to have it fixed. hope they could upgrade the system in the near future.

Grand Diamond Suites is always our favorite place to stay in Bangkok. This was our first visit after Covid and noticed that the breakfast buffet had minimized a lot but it did not disappoint as they added more options everyday. The hotel is situated at the best location, accessible to everywhere important by walking distance and short transportation to any other places.

- No room service orders - Hotel restaurant opens for breakfast buffet only - Since the rooms were equipped with cooking facilities, I wish the hotel had enabled to use them especially with no room service available at all times

The location is excellent. There is covered walk-way to the platinum mall that links all the way to the main shopping mall. The bus stop in front of the hotel is convenient for transport to most tourist areas. The staff are friendly, especially those handling the luggage and storage are very approachable and caring. Room is large with extra dining table area and space for opened luggage. Room is kept very clean and all things are working well in the room. Daily cleaning is done well. Breakfast is very good with variety changes each day.

The carpet floor is old & stale (but not smelly). The hotel facilities & rooms are old.

Be stays at this hotel before. , it was a near-by wholesale mall around. .But its look oldest & under Star . Hope be renovation and maintenance

Stayed for 5 days. Very clean suite. Has separate pantry, living, dining areas, storage area for baggage and a spacious washroom. Two separate TVs for living room and bedroom and can view two separate channels simultaneously. Microwave oven .large refrigerator, hot plates and pantry with wash basin were very useful Separate Shower cubicle in addition to the bath tub. Can walk directly into the adjoining Platinum plaza through connecting bridge without stepping on to the street. Bus stop directly in front of the hotel gives easy access to all important places. Closeby shopping malls like Big C, Market and Central world can be accessed without having to go in the sun or rain. Staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. Unlike most hotels in big cities it has windows with a real city view.

Water level of the commode (too high)

Location was perfect especially for the two seniors we traveled with - Platinum is literally next door to the hotel, accessible without climbing stairs or crossing the street. The hotel also houses a boutique, Burger King, a massage parlor, and other convenient facilities.

Carpet could have been cleaner (or stripped altogether), it would also have been nice to provide cutlery and china in the kitchenette.

This hotel can be reached via taxi or the BTS skytrain, nearest station is Chiklom (15 minutes' walk). You can stop at the Hard Rock Cafe along the way. Then follow the walkway, enter Platinum Mall, and you are at the hotel, Ask around, they can speak English, or use Google translate, very helpful. Check in is good, almost immediate. The room is spacious, and I love the bath tub (which overlooks the beautiful city of Bangkok). Even though it is on the 23rd floor, the water pressure is good, the hot water is awesome. The bed is nice, and the room is clean. Microwave, fridge, dining table, hot plate and of course, the mineral glass bottle (do not take the bottle home). The staff is pleasant; they speak English and are eager to assist; I adore them all. The hotel is directly across the street from Platinum Mall, opposite Krungthong Plaza (a larger-sized (size 3XL-7XL clothing plaza) and, of course, Pratunam Market. Breakfast is good, anything with an egg station is good. Love the variety of food. The pool is clean too. The pool is on the same floor as the breakfast cafe (level 8). This hotel is good for everyone. They serve jambu madu or Java apple, they are super crunchy and so nice to eat, i love the breakfast, really, wifi is good and strong even for 3 people. the room is quiet.

nothing really, everything is good, is just that, the pool opens at 7am to 8pm, i was there at 7am, but the cleaner has not finished cleaning so i have to stop to let her clean the pool. no biggies, then, the hotel never reply to my message here in booking.com. wonder why. but i can check in immediately when I arrive, that was the plus point

They respect Guests' privacy. Nobody came and asked for tips like almost all other hotels I stayed in Bangkok. Nothing is forcefully sold. Even they arranged a fairly priced taxi back to the airport, including the toll fee.

No restaurant or food service to the room after breakfast. But not an issue there are so many restaurants and takeaways available nearby.

Pros: Location is great, room was cleaned everyday; staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: Facilities are old, Despite my request for separate beds, only one room came with separate beds -the rest of the rooms only had large queen sized beds (Although advertised as King Beds); Lack of food in the hotel - only a Burger King remains apart from the Hotel coffee house; The Starbucks has closed down; also no longer a tour desk present at the hotel; wi-fi was spotty and was not working one of the evenings.

Location is ideal for people who come here for the first time. Metro, shopping malls, foods whether is western or local foods they are all reachable within the walking distance. As Grand Diamond Suites is located in the Central of Bangkok, there is pick up area where cars can stop without hassling. Room is very clean. Wi-Fi very good received. Breakfast I did not have breakfast because I wanted to try the local foods. I will highly recommend anyone who want to travel to Bangkok to stay in Grand Diamond Suites Hotel. The staffs they are very helpful, not only at the front desk, Cleaner and also when making reservation they will do their utmost to fulfill your requests. Even though hotel itself is not new but the facility are well maintained.

At this moment I cannot think off what I do not like about this hotel.
