Bungalow review So under rated for the price. Right in the beach, even if in a pool bungalow it’s a 2 min walk to the beach. Lots of lounges and shade under the trees Beach and gardens kept in such pristine conditions The beach is really chaweng Noi and it’s Devine Bungalows are basic but clean and have everything you need. Not many mosquitos since there is a little inlet behind them all

Restaurant and breakie were just ok, a little bit repetitive after two weeks. No happy hour in the evenings and as cocktails were almost double that out in the street. Pool was a little hard to get out of, the ladder is high and the metal get super hot at the tops. Smoking! Horrible to go to breakfast and to be seated next to a smoker who lights up after they have finished but we haven’t. Would be better to have a smoking and non smoking sections outside! All very small complaints

The location was perfect with not overly busy beach and good access to restaurants and market with a short ride on scooter. We had the best beach bungalow location . The staff was very nice. The sea and beach is the best on the island. It was comfortable to be close to the bar and have food and drinks at our bungalow. Beach chairs were plenty with plenty of shade. Room was clean and the property was gorgeous and well maintained. The beach being private was not crowded at all and the rocky side of beach was great for snorkeling and very safe for children,

Although not so huge issues, the beds were quite hard. After requesting we got soft mattress toppers which helped. The restaurant could be better with a little better variety of food. Breakfast was the same so got boring in a few days. The bar on beach was opening quite late and closing quite early. we would have liked some late evening drinks and snacks on the beach with some music to keep it lively.

We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Our bungalow was exactly what we needed and the beach was perfect in every way.

We went for breakfast at 9.30 on our first day and there was no hot food left.

Location, cleanliness, attentive staff

The pool is deep and big, so perfect to swim, you can find easily place to do laps without people disturbing you. The villa near the pool are the best place on the project, quiet near everything. First Bungalow is located in a dead end street near a lot of good restaurant by foot and if you want to swim in the sea, the beach is nice and there's a lot of chair. Same thing about the chairs around the pool, yoy have always some available. The employees at the reception are very helpful and the room maid are very efficient. We experienced Bangrak Beach but we preferre Chaweng Beach, it's easier to walk on the sidewalk, the restaurant are better and more variety of food.

For breakfast, there's a lot of variety of food but all the hot food are cold, you have to take the ham or bacon and ask at the omelet station to heat it. The omelet station is nice you can have also you egg done. There's no decafinated coffee, no substitut sugar and no lactose free milk so you have to buy it in a grocery store and bring it, they will give you hot water. Also, you have to be very patient for a toast (you have to pass it 5 times) because the toaster don't grill enough.

Our bungalow was ON the beach. We went to sleep each night and awoke each morning to the view of the beach and sound of the waves which is absolute HEAVEN!! Our bungalow was also steps from the beach bar where we could get drinks and eat lunch and dinner if we chose, which we did a few days/nights. Not only was this ultra convenient, but the food was delicious! I will dream about this place until I return!!

Had an issue one day regarding a beach umbrella. Although neighboring resorts had umbrellas set up and opened, staff member told us it was too windy. Had to battle a bit to get the umbrella put up, but bartender at the beach bar was on our side and advocated for us (and other guests). Love a happy ending!

Wonderful location, good value for money for a 3 star hotel with classic old time atmosphere, not 5 star new luxury. The bungalows are great. The First rooms are not so good, avoid them. Breakfast is good for 3 Stars and sufficiënt. The beds are a little bit hard as is Thai massage, good for a healthy body, we never had a problem with the hard beds. The beach is the best, quiet, a nice breeze and always possible to have a chair and umbrella right at the waterside, also when the hotel is fully booked (as was now the case every day ! ). The beach bar has good food and is pleasant. Service for booking a tour or taxi is great. We are here for the 5th time for 3 weeks and for us this is paradise, best location and best service of the oh so nice Thai people !

Our beach front bungalow was stunning! Do yourself a favour and pay that bit more to get this accommodation. We were especially lucky to get one towards the end of the private beach, so you don't have many other guests walking by your veranda. Really good breakfast too and lovely staff.

It is a little bit away from hurly burly night life, however we saw this as a positive. For 200 baht for two people - the tuk tuk jeeps bring you to all the bars and beach clubs. There is also some really nice quieter bars and restaurants just outside resort too, so best of both worlds 😍

The location is good. It is located in the south of Chaweng beach. I had a bungalow on the beach, very nice view. The gorgeous pool. Very good breakfast, very varied buffet. Super cleaning, daily. Quiet area. Terraces and restaurants in the area. The entertainment area is approximately 35-40 minutes away on foot.

The reception staff is not very frendly. He refuses you with a smile on his face. Twice we wanted to rent a motorbike, we were told that today they don't have availability, let's try tomorrow. And tomorrow the same, the same situation. Local excursions are more expensive than at the vis a vis agency, they are not willing to negotiate. We stayed 10 nights, we had 2 bungalows, because we were 2 couples. I requested a free transfer to airport , as specified on the website. We were refused on the grounds that we did not book the accommodation on their website and they asked us for double the price of a local taxi.

The staff were very friendly and quick to accommodate and address any issues. We had a bungalow on the beach and it was very comfortable.

We had to move once as thae aircon stopped working and the second bungalow had VERY little water pressure, however we would Tay there again. Thee menu was li.ited and some things were unavailable - the Thai food seemed to be made for western tastes., however you could order it spicy or not. We would definitely return to First Beach.
