Art Mai is one of the best places we have stayed in Thailand! The location is excellent- the area is funky and upcoming. There are so many cafes, restaurants and bars to discover in the area. We stayed on a weekend and there was a food market at One Nimmian which was great with buskers - a great experience. Old Town is also only a short ride away. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Staff working at the hotel were superb and friendly. They answered all of our questions and have heresy advice on what to do in the area. The pool is great and has a brilliant view. We also tried a few different cocktails from the bar which were also fantastic. Overall a perfect place to stay!

Everything was super! Only small criticism is the breakfast is slightly overpriced when there are great options for breakfast and brunch a few minutes walk away.

Art Mai is centrally located in Nimman. There are plenty of restaurants and stores within 1-3 minutes of walking distance from the hotel. The property itself is very clean with spacious rooms, nice size pool on the roof top, and a nice semi-hidden bar on the 8th floor. There is also a restaurant and bar on the lobby floor, but I didn’t utilize their services during my stay. If you decide to drive a car or rent a motorbike, there is a parking garage below the hotel. The airport is only a 10 minute drive from the hotel. I absolutely loved staying here and the price point was on par for what you receive. I also had great assistance from Nanda and Nim as this was my first time in Chiang Mai. They provided me great recommendations, a perfect restaurant suggestion for my first Chiang Mai meal, and assisted me with renting a motorbike. Great professionalism and customer service all around.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Art Mai Gallery Hotel staff in Chiang Mai for their exceptional hospitality during my one-month stay. They were incredibly kind, courteous, and efficient, making my stay all the more enjoyable. The hotel's location is strategically placed near Niman 1, restaurants, massage parlors, and other amenities, making it an ideal spot. I particularly enjoyed the cozy and tastefully decorated room, as well as the beautiful bathroom. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the linens were lovely, making it an indulgent experience. Thank you very much for providing me with a delightful stay.

i liked the location and the modern style of the hotel. The breakfasted also nice.

i did not like the noisy cleaners banging the vacuum cleaner near my door at 7am . the loud voices from the cleaners shouting down the corridors at each other not caring if they are waking anyone up. i went to relax and ended up more tired than I checked in. reception staff however were impeccable and kind. i think they should be careful saying we are full we are full as I was going to book 4 more days online a suite room was available on booking.com but they said they were full so I booked somewhere else this is losing money for the hotel because I would have booked that available suite!!

The decor was great. Before staying here I had read some comments that their room was dated. However, this was not the case in our instance. The room we were in was exactly as per one of the pictures. The location was also great. For the price, it was really good. This was the least expensive hotel on our trip so I was expecting it to be a bit rundown but in actual fact it was really nice and in many cases the room was better than the much more expensive places we stayed in the south.

The only thing I can think of was that you had to be careful not to get too much water on the bathroom floor when using the shower. However, there is a wet room drain, so I guess this isn't so much of an issue.

Located right next to my favorite cafe in Nimman Rather easy to get to, to call taxi, or pick up and drop off, 10 minutes walk to Maya, Rather quiet despite being in the middle of tourist area, Good value for this accommodation and location, Good sheltered parking for my motorcycle and right down the basement, Friendly staff, Room cleaning was good and quick

Bed, room and pool are nice, but too much time spent out of the hotel (since location is so good). Feels like I did not make full use of the facilities

The Art Mai Gallery is a clean and tidy property with friendly staff. The entry level rooms are not particularly special however we did like the art theme. Walking distance to bars and restaurants and there are two markets nearby.

I would have preferred instant coffee in the room rather than having to go to the ground floor and use the free machine. The pool and roof top were not open because of renovations so we I can't comment on the facilities. Given these were not available and our double room was not and we were given twin beds, perhaps the price should have been a little lower.

1. Great location, convenient to eateries, 7-11, pharmacies, shopping mall. Easy to get grab to almost everywhere. 2. Hotel personnel are warm, and forever helpful. Very accommodating to needs. 3. Rooms are clean, housekeeping personnel are helpful. Drinking water are complimentary. 4. Breakfast spread is average but food quality is good. Food variety is changed daily so its good for longer stays. Overall, we had a great stay at Art Mai. Thank you for having us and for making our stay a memorable and great one. Double thumbs up to Art Mai!

Wonderful art work throughout the hotel, excellent service from friendly staff, a roof top pool you can actually swim lengths in and fantastic cocktails. Easy walk to good shopping and great restaurants.

The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to check out so we immediately rebooked when next passing through Chiang Mai

Great location! It was central to many restaurants and an outdoor market was steps away, however, the hotel was tucked away so it was also quiet. The buffet breakfast was adequate but it was very nice that you could get cook-to-order eggs in addition. It was also nice that there was outdoor seating to eat breakfast outside. The rooftop pool was nice and we did get some pool time in during our stay. It was very quiet at the pool and when we used it, it was only us and maybe one other person. The staff was very friendly and interested in making sure we enjoyed our stay. The bed and linens were very comfortable and that is important to me in getting a good night's rest.

The only thing that was a tad disappointing was the hotel rooms appeared to be a bit rundown. I was excited to stay here based on the pictures online but once in the room, it looked like it could use a refresh. This did not deter me from enjoying the hotel; more for information for future travelers' expectations. I would stay at Art Mai? again!
